This series couldn’t have started at a more perfect time. Just getting my 60 C10 back in the garage this week. I am excited to follow along! 🤘

I've been to Nate's place, his stuff is beautiful and his customer service is as good as it gets. Glad your using his stuff!!
Great job!! I built my squarebody from the ground up. Was a lot of work, but in the end i enjoyed the whole process. I learned a lot.
@@Knucklebustergarage that’s the cool thing about these trucks. You learn more every build. I like to challenge myself to keep taking each truck up a notch and do more.
Again, Soo excited to see this happen!! I need to get back on my 65 c10. I need to finish my short bed conversion on my bedsides and get my big back window panel in. Soo cool to see the new suspension stuff!!
@@AaronPitts-l8j thank you!!!
You are doing a great job alone 👍
Thank you so much!
Most excellent! just found your channel a few weeks back; great stuff! Looking forward to the build series and thanks for taking the time to explain everything as you go!
You make it look easy , which I know it isn't , I am putting running gear from a 82' 4x4 suburban under my 60' GMC , keep up the good work ! And man you really have stuff organized !
@@fieldinglover I appreciate that. I have to stay organized or I’m all over the place lol.
I want to grow up and be like you...😂...Great job bro keep up the good work.
Hahahaha thanks man.
That's brilliant, I will be doing that the next time I pull a cab
@@AaronPitts-l8j thank you
I wish I could use a photo on the comments. I used 2x4s to build the cab lift jig. I made it so it ran the width of the door jams so the cab couldn’t slide forward or backward. Then, in the middle of the span, I used a chunk of 2x12 smack in the middle of the cab. I drilled out a 2” hole centered along the width of the jig with a forstner bit. Make sure it’s drilled towards the front of the cab. Then stick a trailer hitch inside the end of the cherry picker. Drill a hole through the side of the cherry pickers’ end to bolt that hitch in. With the trailer hitch, you have a lot more flexibility to swivel the cab around on a point rather than being rigid with it. Works like a dream.

Great job on the cab lifter! Nothing to removing the cab.
Thank you

Loving this build already buddy. But I gotta ask where you get the pegboard I need that for my garage
@@Stancewerkz it’s Omni wall pegboard. I made a video about it. Check a few videos before this one. I love it!
@@SIMPLE.C10 thanks brother appreciate it a lot

I use an engine hoist myself, but I lift from eyebolts in the body mounts. I damaged the roof before doing it this way.
@@chrisw9451 I’ve seen people do it that way too. Whatever works best!
👍🏽👊🏾
Thanks for watching

That is smart. Use an engine lift to take the door off.
@@tonythaxter1695 thank you. I didn’t think of it until I got to the doors and thought, hey I can use a strap haha.
Hows the pb fab back end coming along?
Man with all that stuff you’re pretty close to a full frame
@@briangoudreau5793 basically. I think it’s a setup up from a budget build if someone wanted to lay frame they could purchase one thing at a time as they save up. It’s hard to fork over the cash for a full frame but someone could buy sections as they could.
First off love you Channel just want to warn everybody about a business call 456 Chevy trucks in Kansas Missouri Tony Smith he ripped me off $3,000 in Parts I'm in the middle of building my camper special 1966 and the guy has totally ripped me off stay away from do not do business with that man he's a scammer I'm trying to tell everybody I live here in Canada so I am having a hard time getting my money and my parts this has been going on for 2 years he's a total scammer stay away I hope I helped somebody
Sending smoke signal
Hahahaha
Modify weld a wing nut so you can adjust the center point😢
@@tonythaxter1695 I planned on doing exactly that! Not sure why they didn’t from the factory. Big design flaw. Glad it didn’t mess anything up or hurt anyone.
