- Went with the quickest and cheapest option, replace the thermostat from rock auto added, a litre or two of coolant 50-50 mix and so far so good. I’m going to take her for a longer drive tomorrow to make sure that everything is OK.

I just bought my 735i and this channel is the only one with this car and how to fix certain problems, if there’s any other channel or forums with 735i information I’d love to check it out
When my thermostat failed it was weird. It had probably been failed for a long time. The car would not overheat when driving at all. Temp gauge will chill in the middle at all times. However if you left the car alone to idle I had the same issues as you. I just never noticed because I never let the car sit idling.
I love this this car. What mpg are you getting? Any major issues so far ?
Sorry I only know litres per km. I am averaging 12-13L in the city and 10-11L on the highway. no major issues, she has been so solid and fun to drive. just regular maintenance, good Shell Gas and she runs like a dream.
Hello, could you tell me where the injection temperature sensor is located? since there are two and I don't know which is... are those very similar...
Been having a similar problem, is there another ways to check if your thermostat is good or not?
Just started having overheating problem with my M30B30 recently.
I will check my thermostat first.
Easy fix, and make sure the arrow on the thermostat is pointing in the right direction. Any help is needed, pls let me know.
