I bought a 2006 New Beetle TDI and couldn't believe what I saw... + Video updates!

Ah jeez guys what am I doing. Jk course I know what I'm doing, can't wait for this project. The next video I'll be going over what special swap parts I'll need to make it work specifically in the new vehicle..

Casual tuned 1.9 TDI++ in Europe with 6 speed manual normally 120 miles per hour cruise with 3500 rpm ARL best ever engine... In USA I don't know if it got a 1.9 TDI PD ARL 😀

Haha... Beetle DSG before even Doug Demuro's Audi V10 Lambo had DSG... lol I guess the DSG couldn't handle the power back then.

Didn't Passats come with 6spd manuals in North America?

The same era tdi passats were fwd 5 speed only. You may have been able to get a newer passat 6 speed manual.

@@thirdgeargrind8033 Then it was just the US. 6spd were available on both 2.5 and 1.9 B5 Passats. Also Audi B5 A6. I also checked ETKA which also shows part numbers for a 6-speed manual in the US for at least the 4motion model.

@@rkan2 6 speed manual 4motion passats were only 1.8t or 2.8 both gas. North America never got the 2.5 tdi. And you couldn't really swap a TDI into those cars since the gearing was wrong. You'd need either the 2.0t b7 quattro trans or the passat w8 trans.
