I’ve never gone camping in my life. I’m 30 years old but if anyone makes me wanna do it, it’s this guy. I wanna buy all the firebox components too for no reason other than everything in his videos looks yummy when he cooks it. Especially fish, bacon, eggs, or hash browns!!!
Hopefully, you can get out there sooner than later. It's so peaceful and calming. Our gear is here: fireboxstove.com/. Thanks for watching and commenting.
IMO the dogs and goats, not tied close but wondering close along with you, are just wonderful. The countryside where you wander, camp and fish, is magnificent. Your meals are way better than mine. Well done, Sir. Thank you, from east Tennessee.
Thank you kindly! They've all been trained daily to follow and do such a great job. The goats think I'm part of the lack as they were bottle fed from a very young age. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😁
Nice one Steve... a great example of a pet owner knowing their animals! You were so right about the erratic behaviour by Maggie! Well spotted mate. I'm sure the dogs didn't have a clue with what was happening to them! Another belter of a vid pal... cheers!🤙
Oh WOW! I follow a lot of camping people... But I will say this was AWESOME! I camp myself but not to this extreme..I will totally follow you! ty for your video!
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. I go to even more remote spots and plan to hit the most remote spot I regularly visit at least once before winter. Cheers thank you for the nice comment! 👍😊

Glad everyone was ok. It's so frightening when our buddies aren't well. Tell you what, I was drooling over that cobbler! You left the rooster home, huh?😊
Great job. You’re portraying one man camping with dogs and goats. You don’t have to even try to sell the product. Just ID what it is, I think most people will buy it based on the animal friends alone!
Thank you, we truly have a great time out there! 😁 Our website is here: fireboxstove.com/ if you want to take a look at our gear and have your own Firebox adventures. Take care and thanks for the comment!

Hi 👋 we’re new subscribers enjoy watching your videos. We’re from El Salvador but we live in Maryland, we love how you treat your animals 🐶you really care for them. Thank you for doing that and your amazing videos 😊
Whew!! my heart dropped when the dogs were sick, I'm so glad they are doing good, your cobbler looked delicious, I would have gone into a diabetic come if I ate all that, but I would still cheat and have a couple bites😁🤙
I am glad they are better too, scared me for a minute. We actually do have a recipe book here: fireboxstove.com/cookbook/. So glad to hear you enjoy the videos. 😁
Fish don't bite when there's thunder. You should have tried when it was very calm in the evening, or early morning. You might have gotten a fish or two. Glad the dogs are ok. Very calming video otherwise. Thanks for taking us along. You and your team do a great job.
Those of us who can't, watch cool youtubers that do, and do it well! This was an awesome adventure! I just subbed. Thanks for the great content! Pack goats, how novel an idea! :)
Jeeze mate, that’s a scary one when your dogs are acting off like that! I’m so glad that they were ok, you’re a good human for dropping everything like that just in case it was something serious though
Have been a dog owner my whole life... Did not know that corn Intoxicates dogs. Thanks for sharing my friend! What beautiful country you get to play in😎
The cobbler would work with biscuits on the bottom, then the fruit, then the oatmeal on the top and you’d have to put coals on the top to make it into an oven, it would work in the small cake pan in the Billy pot oven. No need to make sauce. The fruit will make sauce as it bakes with the sugar (and some cinnamon). I’d use brown sugar in the oatmeal and on the fruit. That in between whipped cream and butter is probably clotted cream. Good stuff.
Great video, glad to see Maggie and Juniper are okay. Beautiful country you camp in Steve. To me Maggie is giving a glimpse of how Ash was as a puppy and just like Ash Maggie is looking like she is going to be a great camping companion, it’s funny to see Juni still doesn’t trust the goats lol Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure. Where can we get the stand in the elevated campfire cooking kit?
I'm glad they're okay as well, it was scary at first for sure. Maggie really is growing into a beautiful soul. The table I cooked on is here: fireboxstove.com/product/firebox-pack-table/. It works great! 😊 Thanks for the support.
Great views Steve! Especially from the goats perspective. It makes me feel like I’m back in the saddle. As for Maggie, before you can blink, she’s gone. Lol
another great trip Steve.,glad Junie and Maggie are ok.. when you said they tossed up corn my mind went to they may have gotten into a bait pile someone luring wildlife in for photography or hunting.. I bet a 50 cent plastic protein shaker cup ball in with that cream would solve your problems and its pretty small for traveling with .. just trap air in the bag and roll it tight into a balloon then shake it baby shake it or use your coffee pot
I’m from Australia and I’ve followed this channel for a long time and this episode shows the pros and cons of camping with our furry friends . Unfortunately our regulations travelling with animals is too restrictive yet humans do more harm.
Oh man, I'd have to agree with that. Humans really do tend to do more harm than animals. Ya this was scary and I'm super glad the animals are ok. 😊 thanks for commenting.
I misread the story and thought you came across drugged dogs! Didn’t know it was June and Maggie!! So glad they’re OK. It scared me. I watched AB Camping and his dog was poisoned while he was camping, but it died. It’s crazy. Just gotta say, I absolutely love Maggie’s ears. She reminds me of a bat. Thanks for the video. Glad you are ALL ok!!
That's horrible! 😭 lol yes, Maggie's ears are cute. I can totally see why you say she reminds you of a bat, that's too funny. Thanks for commenting and watching! 😁
Soooo Dogg has been on light activity for 10 weeks he stretched a tendon on the rocks doing what Maggie was doing. Dogg loves herding elk and cows he doesn't give up till he runs out of gas.
