- No. 24 USC erased a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to beat California, 50-49, in Berkeley on Oct. 28, 2023. Caleb Williams threw for 369 yards and totaled four touchdowns (two rushing, two passing) for the Trojans. Austin Jones scored the game-winning touchdown with 3:33 left in the fourth. Cal quarterback Fernando Mendoza connected with Jaivian Thomas for a touchdown with 58 seconds left, but the Trojans snuffed out the Golden Bears' potential game-winning two-point conversion attempt to seal the victory.

Let's be honest. USC lucked out in this game. They could have easily lost.
But they didn't so...
This GRINCH era is the worse defense USC has had since I been following them way back to the 1970s.
Imagine if USC just had an average Offense USC these past two years would be winless.

USC's Home attendance dropping fast, averaging 62,000. Paris Helton was averaging 56,000 at home

Without Cal's 3 turnovers, the bears would've won this game. USC didn't deserve this win. I am a Utah fan, and even I know that this would've been a Cal Bears win, in the scenario with no bear's turnovers. I hope that the bears will have a payback game against USC someday, regardless of USC going to The Big 10 next year, (If Cal and USC happen to schedule each other again, in the future).

What are turnovers for?? USC did great by capitalizing on those turnovers just like how Notre dame did an amazing job on capitalizing on the USC's turnovers. No team would win without the other team's mistakes, so USC got an ugly win, but as a Trojan fan ,it's a beautiful win to me since they managed to switch the players position within a week and still get the W. So I don't know which sports you're watching. Maybe it's Loloball but honey this is football. So wake up.

People like you are the only ones who take it too far, and extending the argument further than it has to be. It's my opinion that Cal should've won, and I'm not going to filter what I believe in because of offended pinheads like you. Cal is the better team, but lost it because of their own mistakes. The truth hurts for USC fans like you, to know that USC is way overrated.
