- The No. 11 Utah Utes took on the No. 4 USC Trojans for the PAC-12 Championship from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Quarterback Cam Rising led the Utes offensive outburst with 310 passing yards and three touchdowns. Running back Ja'Quinden Jackson also added 105 rushing yards and two touchdowns. USC quarterback Caleb Williams threw 363 passing yards and three touchdowns in the losing effort as the Utes took down the Trojans 47-24.

Never was in my mind. Pac plays 0 defense. Completely inflated stats. Stroud threw for 573 yards against Utah last year, and that was the pacs BEST team. Imagine what he'd pass for against all the other terrible teams in the pac
Utah strength & conditioning coach deserves a bonus/raise….Utah players definitely looked stronger and fresher as the game progressed and this directly effected the outcome of this great game!!!
Seemed like utah just wanted it a little bit more as well as the game wore on. Maybe the frustration of being in that spot a few times and not winning the pac-12 title pushed them just a little further

Kyle Whittingham is the best coach in college football. Never has any 5 star recruits like Alabama usc Georgia.. any of the big name teams but his teams are always good.

I'm not a Utah fan, but they are the only program in the Pac-12 that I respect. I felt like those last few drives by Utah they were selling out for picks too much and losing guys. Too much emphasis on turnovers after they got behind rather than just staying in front of people.
This USC defense is an absolute embarrassment. This was an issue in Oklahoma under Lincoln Riley which is why I never bought into the hype.
Exactly. I'm the only SC fan that I know who wasn't thrilled with the hire. I know his history. It goes like this: 0-3 in CFP games. Points given up in those games, 54, 45 and 63. Tonight's game was, essentially a playoff game for SC, so let's just say that Riley is 0-4 and his teams have given up 209 points in those 4 games. That's an average of over 52 points per game. 7 on 7 coaches like Riley have NEVER won a national championship. Okay, maybe Steve Spurrier.
They will be fine. In a year or two the defense will match the offense. Riley is already the most accomplished SC coach since Pete Carroll.

As a Ute fan, I hope you are right. I think USC will beat all but 2 teams in the Big 10. USC will only struggle with OSU and Michigan. They will dominate everyone else.
