Reggie Bush was the visual representation of what every high school running back aspires to be in their careers! He had all the highlights, won multiple bowl games and championships, video game cover (NCAA Football 2007), won the Heisman trophy, AND topped it all off by getting drafted 2nd overall in the 2006 NFL draft! Oh and he won a Super Bowl with the Saints!
Reggie bush is the greatest RB in college football history and was so dangerous that he played like 4 positions when needed and nobody couldn't touch him talent wise and I'll say this that the saints used him right but trade him for some reason but still bush one of the greatest football players ever in college history.
I live in L.A. - I saw Reggie Bush Play - and not only is he not the NCAA best ever - hes not even SC best player ever - Charles White, Marcus Allen, and OJ Simpson, all were better than Bush - former Trojan RB's and Heisman Trophy winners -
Mr. BugattiBentley ok buddy don't go crazy, yes Shrubbery was good..I meant bush. But anyway just say from your era, so it doesn't disrespect or offend a 100 other players that were beast b4 him. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.
this era of college football was prolly the greatest..do not forget devin hester was also out there causing havoc in the east coast...and adrian peterson was just as reckless with the ball..but bush man he was unreal
Not even close. Sanders, Walker, Dorsett, and Archie Griffin were way better. You must be under 35 years old. Earl Campbell was better. Mike Rozier was better. Adrian Peterson was better. Bo Jackson was better. Bo averaged 6.6 yards per carry in the SEC at Auburn. Bush had 38 total TDs. Bo rushed for 43 TDs. Most exciting rb ever? Maybe. Best rb ever? Not even top 10.
I cant think of any other player that made me feel like he had the potential to score every time he touched the ball from anywhere on the field. Truly magical.
I'll never forgot being in HS and my dad, brother and me would all get together to watch Reggie he was MUST SEE t.v it seemed like every time he touched the ball he scored
Reggie is the most exciting RB in college football history. He was way more gifted than college defenses could handle. The pro defenses were more equipped to deal with his slashing style and speed because the talent was there to counter Reggie a bit. That said, Reggie had a fine pro career and made tens of millions of dollars so good for him.
Yeah. He was obviously fast. But his angles man. His angles not even that. He was soooooooo smart. It just look like he is fast but his brain is processing infinite possibilities with every step that his feet make.
The NCAA and USC can erase his name all they want but I'm a real person and when somebody or something amazes me I'll never forget. Reggie was special. And I was lucky enough to see how special he was even before USC, I saw it in HS and Pop Warner. It's time USC at least bring him back around the program. He was a kid who paid the consequences. I doubt USC ever gave back the money ppl paid to go see him and the team or all the merchandise they sold because of him. Let's be real.
I agree. But to be fair Bush would have been perfect in todays NFL. Health aside Bush had better hands than Mc and the speed to burn. But at least he won a superbowl.
That is because when he was on his way to score a touchdown... which would have put Texas 3 scores down!!!... He threw the ball away. And even with that... you barely won. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Just enjoy and celebrate his greatness and talent, he was electric. Everyone will have a different opinion, no problem. No one can argue this dude was special and I have not seen another player like him since he left college football. Enough said.
Reggie Bush was the most electrifying Athlete ever! Agreed by pro players and fans at the time. Perfect coach and supporting cast! Sold out every stadium they played in. SC still can't recover from Texas loss or scandals. How did outside jealous powers ruin it all. Where were SC lawyers? Time for Trojans to return to greatness
I am from Cali but an Okie now. He was not better than The Juice or Billy Sims(OU) that both won Heismans. The JUICE was a football player with 9.6 track speed and knew how to use it.
I wish saban and pete carroll had faced off with 03 lsu vs 03 usc when reggie was a freshman that would of been epic and see him vs that elite 04 auburn defense over that oklahoma one
Reggie dude just has a style of his own fast guick on his turn that 1 play with fresno he (Stop) completely than turn and took off again I'll never forget that 👍👍👍 he got more
The landscape of the then Pac 10 changed after USC,s reign at the top.Oregon had just started winning, Cal was going to Bowl games, and Stanford and Washington were in decline, until the arrival of Jim Harbaugh, and Kyle Peterson.
Even though people blame pete for not using reggie on that 4th and inches , you gotta remember lendale was running all over texas before that and reggie bush wasnt a straight ahead runner like that ecspecially compared to lendale white , its why they complemented each other so well
That was part of the sanctions the NCAA put on USC. They had to disassociate with him for 10 years. NCAA wanted USC to take his name out of all their record books, everything. I know his name was still in the media guides I saw so I don't know if they did. Coach Todd McNair sued the NCAA and won. It was ruled that the NCAA acted with malice towards him and USC. USC ended that disassociation with Bush earlier this year and he has returned to the school since then.
This dude single handedly made me a USC fan back I 04'-05'
Facts!!!!!
No one cares. I know Reggie and he thinks you are a dorkwad.
Same ! Bush push. Behind the back stop on a dime against Fresno…man he was something else!! Bush was is the collage football 🐐

Reggie Bush made everybody want to be a running back. He revolutionized the position frfr not on the NFL level but definitely in college
MarMeez i think you were right without the clarification....look at all the elite rbs in the league...they’re equally adept at catching the ball
Harvin and Bush probably made everyone want to do a lot more skill positions.
You’re right, even just the accessories. He started the eye paint with writing, and the one sleeve look
Brian westbrooks on steroids
He got a ring tho
They should give him his Heisman Trophy back. He earned it on the field and in helping the school make millions.
You mean by helping the school cheat?
@@squigglyline2813 other schools cheat too Auburn and Cam Newton!
@@CCROGGY ah yes, "everyone else cheats!", the new USC school battle cry.
@@squigglyline2813 but they don't get punished since they are the NZAA darlings!

Luke Mulford you are stupid.. reggie bush was indisputably the best player that year and it wasn't even close.
Chirs Miller Being the best player at USC makes you the best player ever.

I would agree with that.....
This film mixed with the actual sound of the crowd is crazy stupid good!!
I'll never forgot being in HS and my dad, brother and me would all get together to watch Reggie he was MUST SEE t.v it seemed like every time he touched the ball he scored
That is when USC had some bad cats... and Reggie was the baddest of them all.
Bush’s acceleration was second to none in college.. super explosive I never seen a player that I felt could score with every touch he was must see tv
My favorite college football player ever. So fun to watch.
One of my favorites with the commentators. I love the sound of crowd and to hear the announcers
Greatest college player I ever saw.

This guy knows angles. He knows when to widen his angle to burn people.

The way Christian McCaffrey is playing is the way I thought Reggie Bush would play

Barry Sanders?

Saw This every Saturday fight on ✌️🏈🏈🏈🏈✌️✌️✌️
When all USC ever knew how to do was win...damn what a time indeed.
Reggie Bush and Lyndale White, best college football RB tandem ever
I believe they had Hershel Dennis as well. Dude was a nightmare!
Bush inspired to be a running back in high school. I remember I use to always look at his highlights before a game. Classic Reggie at its finest 🔥🔥🔥🔥
11 and 5 good old days on the weekends!!!! SC
His break away speed was unnatural, this man floated down the field play after play.
I was livin in southern cali at the time reggie bush was unstoppable .. reggie bush ruled the world back then
Best college running back ever usc baby ❤💛 yesirrrr what a beast
Best overall college RB I’ve ever seen. He can be placed at RB, the Slot , WR , Kick return and Punt Return. It’s nothing he couldn’t do.
Berry Sanders > Reggie Bush
I still haven’t seen anyone in college come close to Bush. His elusiveness what is the best I’ve ever seen.
He was a fucking beast! Too bad my Longhorns beat him in the Rose Bowl. Classic game.
That is because when he was on his way to score a touchdown... which would have put Texas 3 scores down!!!... He threw the ball away.
And even with that... you barely won.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Marcus Witt Yeahhh, but who won though? 🤔
You are right... scoreboard.
Even if USC would of won... the title would have been taken away.
Vince Young’s knee was down. Lol

My favorite college PLAYER ever.
I still have nightmares over that OU game smh
I want more footage like this! These angles show the true speed of the game

This might be my favorite video of all-time.
NCAA needs to return his Heisman #5.
Greatest college football player of all time!
I am from Cali but an Okie now. He was not better than The Juice or Billy Sims(OU) that both won Heismans. The JUICE was a football player with 9.6 track speed and knew how to use it.
Reggie was something else. Was so fun watching him play. Lighting ✌🏽🙌🏽 the best
One of the coldest College RB EVERRR💯🙏🏿
Man,bottom line his overall game was so nice. Period. He was dangerous on a football field. He was a threat to score from anywhere.
This man was a beast back in those days
Fight on Reggie!!! ✌🏼 goat of college football 🏈 👍🏻✌🏼
I was so blessed to see him and the team play live. He was a cheat code in college. What a joy to see.
They’ll never be a player like this ever again in college football!! The good old days!!!!!!
I wish saban and pete carroll had faced off with 03 lsu vs 03 usc when reggie was a freshman that would of been epic and see him vs that elite 04 auburn defense over that oklahoma one
1:55😲 ouch!!!
An amazing college football player without a doubt. He showed up big no matter the opponent.
Reggie Bush = Best RB Alive
Give him his Heisman back. He earned it.
What a legend. O remember watching him in middle school and when he went to the saints i was so excited to watch him lol
Greatest college athlete of all times.
Berry Sanders, Archie Griffin, Marcus Allen were better

yeah but Carrol messed up by having Reggie on the sidelines. Carrol could have kept Bush on the field as a decoy.
Best college running back I ever saw
Can the University just cancel everything they did to this man and bring him back to honour him.
So stupid what they did.

Those SC teams were loaded at every position.
Cut, then open field Reggie was amazing! Could do it all.. long live Reggie Bush
Reggie Reggie Reggie !!!

The goat USC ever had
They've had other GOAT's too.
Fight On!!!!!
Greatest college football running back
A bunch of players started wearing #5 because of Reggie Bush.
The good old days! Best college football well never see again!
Had a great line in front of him too
Duce lutui
Reggie was a beast. But also do not forget in order to be a great running back you need a great O line. The line does not get enough credit.
USC had a lot of All Americans on their O-line. ... Even Lendale White became the All time USC leading TD scorer behind those lines.
Reggie bush was the last usc Jersey i ever bought
Classic number five
WE GONNA GIVE THIS MAN SOME MORE FLOWERS!!! Oh yeah…..and his trophy back! It’s coming back home
True poetry in motion
Greatest? Dunno! A force to be reckoned with on the field? No doubt.
The Best to ever do it in the NCAA!
You can take away his trophies but you can never take away what he did on the field.
Best Runningback Alive.
Probley my fav college player ever
