They hardly need a mention
Ruben Slikk aesthetic and style from early 2010s is like was reprised by everyone from the 2016-2017's wave
Even at rapping, he was talking bout some argoments in the same wave that rappers did later and do nowadays
All of this in like 2011, 2012 or 2013
I think that people wants to forget about the fact that he's a father for the recent generations of rappers for all the illegal shit that he did in recent years
Glad that lil peep divided the person from the music
Some of Lofty305's productions are the reason why some great nowadays producers are in the game right now
Ocean Gang
Probably someone can say that they were influenced in a exaggerated way by Lil B
It's true but is all cool since Cartier God predicted Slayworld style and a lot of shit in the early 2010s
Even Yung God was on of the first to be into Lil B during years like 2012 or before when Lil B's influence wasn't understood
Divine Council
They come later compared to the other groups that I've quoted
However Silkmoney and Cyrax flows combinations with ICYTWAT's productions were and still are something unique that probably won't be lost now or in the future
Glad that a legend like Andre3K recognised it
Awful Records
Father's style and productions and Ethereal's productions are sometimes pretty underrated
Even Tommy Genesis prime days were pretty unique
As a collective, they had an important impact for that typical alternative rap or trap shit that is less recognised
Early Luchelean from Goth Money
Some of his style and flows have hardly influenced Playboi Carti's ones and probably he even doesn't know about lol
I don't quote the other members of goth money or SGP becuase I think you already know bout that
great mentions, i hope theres a pt2 bc theres so much people don’t know about modern rap influences. id maybe put sybyr/syringe there too, i could be wrong af but i feel he really helped start that loud/distorted and dark trap sound
rip speaker knockerz
I remember me and brother finding SpeakerKnockerz in the comments years ago, we where devastated when he died, he was big influence on my brother music
bro i literally look foward everyday u drop keep it up
Absolutely facts he’s on point every single time!! Can’t wait till ppl catch on to you’re absolute facts 😂
There is no “mumble rap” rappers like uzi and carti infamously were called mumble rappers despite speaking clearly
Im not even from Chicago but even i kno cheif keef didnt create the word thot ..its chicago slang but he was the first 1 I Heard say it so he 4sho popularized it
Just from the thumbnail prob my favorite vid ever💯💯😭🙏🙏
Didn’t even mention faneto
crediting Keef for popularizing "aye" as if OJ Da Juiceman doesn't exist is just crazy
Oj def was one of the first Fs . But keef said he didn’t get it from him got it from his uncle . And keef is way more influential than oj
Bro 2013-17 sosa was crazy he got a song with travis.
who said chief keef fell off lmaoo
4nem was great
Drain gang and rcb will always be ahead of the time bruh
Bro i really like ur videos keep going 🔥🔥

Lil B Legend
Keef jus got that from Wayne Wayne got it from T Pain Thug picked up on it too all 4 are goats + Speaker!
3:22 the buh buh buh adlib best use was on "No Sl33p"
u forgot Soulja Boy, SpaceGhostPurrp, and Three 6 Mafia. Them, the people in this vid and Wayne are responsible for 21st century rap music.
Naaaa fuq that MIGOS WERE AHEAD OF THEY TIME THEY WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE , folks don’t even realize how when they came out they switch the cadence in all music , mfs was either LISTENING TO MIGOS OR SOSA FACTS
haven’t watched the full video yet but 21 was too. 21 first few albums could be released now and sell crazy. he was way more experimental then and had a crazy variety of flows
Jus missing souljaboy he was the real first internet rapper
if spaceghostpurrp and soulja boy aint on this ugh yh lmao
That lil b verse on grove st party is absolutely legendary
sosa influence goes way further than just carti uzi and lil pump a lot of rappers td inspired by him and not jus drill his glo beats his sound still present in underground and more
