I remember in high school being in a special ed class where I befriended this one dude who was an Evangelical Christian. He was in the class because of troubles at home. He was a great guy and was open with his love for God and his life despite his shortcomings. He was the nicest dude you could ever meet. I don't know what his religion's thought on certain music was (I came from a Lutheran background, but had never attended church nor read the bible in my life up to that point), but he would crank Chief Keef and Speaker Knockerz during lunch break. He also had a few other rappers he enjoyed such as Rich Homie Quan, OG Maco, early-Hopsin where he was borderline a horrorcore rapper, and several others. It was a good time. I would say that I am heavily nostalgic for Keef's and SK's music, but not really, because it still sounds so fresh to me.

For the internet part. I would have to give you a fact check. Souljaboy was the first and not even tryna be funny but he was the first to be earning and changed the way rappers and labels would handle music being distributed, he was also the first to start making money on TH-cam, he was getting .15 cents a view and .7 cents a comment. Don’t believe me . Look up the video when he was beefing with ice T. That’s when he exposed TH-cam and put us on game to make money.

3-6, Tommy Wright and the whole Memphis 90s scene inspired T.I., Gucci, Jeezy, etc to start trap in the 2000s, then by 2010 Waka Flocka inspired Keef and Keef and the whole Chicago 2010s scene made drill, Lil B inspired people on stuff like meme rap, heavy internet promotion, talking about literally anything in your music, low budget music videos, etc and all the other stuff in the video; Speaker Knockerz also inspired being independent, heavy internet promotion, being a new age rapper+producer and melodic rap, they all did something, they all inspired in their own ways, and there’s many others who also helped shape modern rap like Future, Young Thug, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Yung Lean, Odd Future, A$AP Mob, Raider Klan most importantly SpaceGhostPurrp, and now kids are taking notes from people like Lil Uzi, Playboi Carti, NBA Youngboy and Kodak

Uzi said bang 2 is his fav album of all time. He dropped Faneto, Earned It, Sosa Chamberlain after leaving Interscope some of his biggest songs nobody refers to him as a 1 hit wonder. And Keef still averages around 14 million monthly on Spotify alone was on Drake album as a feature and a sample, and even now produced for Uzi, Youngboy, and Trippie albums. Bro sosa influence was so prevelent even the opps from 63 and tookaville were remixing his songs (like lil jojo with bdk) all those gd rappers sounded just like keef and he had all the bds and gds wearing the polo shirts and true religions jeans he put o block on the map and was best friends with von back then but vons cousin bosstop stole sum guns from sosa so von and keef distanced themselfs unfortunately and also lil durk was the one who switched up on keef bc he was tripping that sosa was the only smart one who wanted to make it out the hood and distance hisself. Also you should mention g herbo and lil bibby because they put alot of people on like PGF Nuk and Juice wrld

    For a part 2:
    Metro Zu
    They hardly need a mention
Ruben Slikk aesthetic and style from early 2010s is like was reprised by everyone from the 2016-2017's wave
Even at rapping, he was talking bout some argoments in the same wave that rappers did later and do nowadays
All of this in like 2011, 2012 or 2013
I think that people wants to forget about the fact that he's a father for the recent generations of rappers for all the illegal shit that he did in recent years
Glad that lil peep divided the person from the music
Some of Lofty305's productions are the reason why some great nowadays producers are in the game right now
    Ocean Gang
Probably someone can say that they were influenced in a exaggerated way by Lil B
It's true but is all cool since Cartier God predicted Slayworld style and a lot of shit in the early 2010s
Even Yung God was on of the first to be into Lil B during years like 2012 or before when Lil B's influence wasn't understood
    Divine Council
They come later compared to the other groups that I've quoted
However Silkmoney and Cyrax flows combinations with ICYTWAT's productions were and still are something unique that probably won't be lost now or in the future
Glad that a legend like Andre3K recognised it
    Awful Records
Father's style and productions and Ethereal's productions are sometimes pretty underrated
Even Tommy Genesis prime days were pretty unique
As a collective, they had an important impact for that typical alternative rap or trap shit that is less recognised
    Early Luchelean from Goth Money
Some of his style and flows have hardly influenced Playboi Carti's ones and probably he even doesn't know about lol
I don't quote the other members of goth money or SGP becuase I think you already know bout that
