Hi, from malaysia here. I've made it this way for some times. Most of my customers & friends said it is the same as they eat in Japan. This video confirmed me that my method is correct. Arigato!

      @@kakeijun84 Thanks for your comment!
      That’s great to hear!
By the way, if you add 50g of grated nagaimo (Japanese yam), it’ll turn out even more fluffy and creamy-I highly recommend it!
I didn’t include it in the recipe because nagaimo can be hard to find outside of Asian countries, but give it a try!

Nice! I would use a blender instead of chopsticks to mix the batter though.

@@se7engold You can use a blender, but make sure to mix only the batter without adding the ingredients. Otherwise, you’ll lose the texture of the ingredients.

You should definitely try AGEYAKI! The outside gets crispy, and it turns out super tasty!

So the shredded wood looking thing is called bonito flakes! I used to buy and eat takoyaki whenever I go kaimono together with taiyaki! So good! 😮

Kobushi is often used for making dashi or as a topping for okonomiyaki and takoyaki!
Taiyaki is delicious, isn't it? I'd love to make it someday and share it with everyone. :)
