I learn in 10 minutes with Hans more about watches than in the whole time that i spent on youtube watching other channels. Since i don't use Instagram i will ask my question here and i really hope it will come up in the next Q@A.
Sinn Navitimer with Sellita500 or Damasko dc56 with valjoux 7750?
    Thanks

  • @thomasa.243

You two were already talking about this topic a few years ago but now I want to extend it. What are the differences between Swiss, German, Japanese and now also Chinese watch movements? To a certain extend all countries are able to produce good movements, for sure, but would you, Hans, be able to tell the differences if there are 4 unlabelled movements from the different countries. As a non-watchmaker it seems to be very hard for me looking through the case back. They appear to be the same 🙈.
P.S. I guess, the value in cuckoo clocks is less the movement but more the case if it has been handmade 😂. Best wishes!
