He's one of the smart ones who thought this through beforehand and made a calculated business decision after weighing up the pros and cons.
Not everyone is like that. And most just do it for the clout and popularity, not even for the business upsides and they are completely ignorant the downsides until it's too late.

you nailed it! many people who do it for the clout miss out on the upside and never think about the business aspect. then they sell out their audience to the cheapest advertisers

For me the cons would outweigh the pros. If you can no longer function the way you want to, that would seem more like a handicap. However I would definitely try to build a business brand instead a personal brand
