@mala6238 so 300 isn't that? Watchmen is the only one he actually did something different but that's just because he had source material that was once in a life time.
I thought of one way this could have been more like Rebel Moon. When I saw “The Mother Star” I completely lost it 🤣
Absolutely brilliant!
The MARTHA Star
Luke Skywalker: We must destroy the mother star.
Han Solo: This empire has fought many rebels and defeated them before!
Luke Skywalker: I don't care how many rebels and jedi this empire has fought before. They've never fought us. Not us united.
@@ZuluRomeoWHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME
LASER MOON
the slow motion on the stormtrooper bonk on the doorway was perfection. lol.
This is a strange mix of a Snyder love letter and an intervention. Impeccable editing and writing.
I was at a loss for words here... Thank you for finding them for me.
Best comment 😂
I cant tell if they appreciate zack and taking the piss or they hate him and made this out of spite 😂
More like the general mood with Snyder. He can be a decent director; however, he has his excesses. Needs someone to help bounce ideas off of and help keep him from going overboard. Granted such restraints can also kill creativity... it's a delicate dance.
@@Klaaism He has as many rotten films as Tarantino has films.
Honestly its crazy how his style really is just exposition dump +slow mo+ epic sounding music. Dude made a whole career out of it.
Not really, but ok.
@mala6238 that is definitely Snyders equation lol don't even try 😂
@@L33ReactsNah, she’s right.
@@L33Reacts the post 2013 one, yes. Especially the Netflix version.
@mala6238 so 300 isn't that? Watchmen is the only one he actually did something different but that's just because he had source material that was once in a life time.
I thought of one way this could have been more like Rebel Moon. The scene where Obi-Wan deactivates the tractor beam would be included, and the moment he pulls the lever, the Death Star starts exploding for no reason, like how the huge battleship starts exploding in Rebel Moon because the rebel leader guy pulled a single lever in an exterior turret.
Slo mo and exposition. Brilliant as ever. You guys are the best.
Don't forget the lens flare and over the top music!
@@lostskull7467 thank you!
The sound track was a top notch pick too. A lot of great little details in this satire.
I don't know who directed this, but they sure do have a distinctive style that I can't imagine getting old over the course of two or more hours, much less an entire career.
I have to admit: the Vader first entrance and the Vader/Kenobi light saber fight actually come off way more impactful this way!
That was insufferably, excruciatingly perfect 😂
The stilted line delivery during the exposition dumps, Vader’s double dump and the non-ending👌
That was really awesome! Vader monologuing made me laugh out loud. 😂
I hope the Syder's "too-coloring" will also be added to the full version.
This was one of the greatest and spot on things I have ever seen.
I found the Snyder Cut of Justice league to be better overall but I didnt notice until how much and how thick the slow-mo is he uses and its insane.
The Slo-mo...the random music and songs that he just throws in...the exposistion word vomit
This was amazing. You nailed it so well.
Next just edit out all the slow-mo and change the exposistion dumps on Rebel Moon and show us how its actually a 25 minute episode hahaha
IMO the slow-mo with dramatic music is parallel with the brute force exposition: it tells us how to feel, rather than letting the unfolding events inspire feeling.
I almost want to watch some of Rebel Moon just to see how accurate this is but I have a feeling this sums it up pretty well.
Honestly… yeah it kinda does. Just stretch out the time to roughly 3 hours.
@@AverageTrainEnthusiast that's not technically true, because this still has some good looking shots. Rebel Moon has basically zero appealing shots at any point in the movie.
@@krowbard that's surprising. I always thought Snyder was all about making "movies" out of appealing shots (in terms of composition, he does screw up with coloring every so often), with connective exposition in-between.
@@Elvalley Shots are still really good in rebel moon but slow mo is used in every third shot and color grading is awful. Plus he overuses the fog/smoke effects a lot, in almost every action shot, mostly over the whole shot to the point where it is a detriment to the whole shot. I liked the movie but it's too long and overuse of slow mo never let that mild enjoyment become something more. Idk what fumes snyder is on but he needs to let go of his style from time to time if his style is heavily affecting the overall production quality in a bad way.
Man, Rebel Moon Part 3 is looking incredible! Peak cinema right here!
This explains so much. I didn't get the emotional impact of these events in the original version until I now saw them in super slow-mo!
This is like showing all the running scenes in Baywatch in regular motion.
It's not just the comedy with you guys, which is spot on, it's your technical prowess and ability to really create satire that you can tell pokes fun but also seems to be a love letter at the same time. Truly genius.
this was like a treat that comes out of nowhere. bless you guys, legendary work once again.
That famous Stormtrooper head bonk in slow motion absolutely sent me 😂😂
Zack Snyder's theatrical version is amazing, I can't wait for the 10 hr slo-mo director's cut!
Loved the scene with Obi-wan in the cantina, it was like... don't mess with the old guy, he's for real.
Why is this so spot on LOL from the music, the exposition, to the slow mo for no real reason. It’s perfect. Bro you need more subs!
This is amazing. This is perfect. It hits all the wrong notes at every turn.
Actually I would argue that in the New Hope Vader vs Obi Wan it actually hits some of the right notes!
Something tells me it will happen again, today. 😂
This is so spot on. Brilliant.
I love that in this version we barely even meet or know Han Solo. that's spot-on accurate
I knew they would throw in another flashback from the TV show after the Mustafar story and they didn't disappoint.
Then it happened again
I was hoping to see the Stormtrooper hit his head in slow mo. and you guys didn't disappoint.
The storm tropper banging his head in slo-mo at 8:49 was certanly one the cinematic things of all time
"Tell by slowmo flashbacks, don't show" truly a masterclass in writing
“..or you will suffer pain worse than any pain you have imagined that pain can be” is something that i would expect from a Snyder movie
You managed to make every single scene nonsensical and pointless, this was absolutely astonishing 😃😃😃❤❤❤️
Say what you will, Vader’s soliloquy was pure art.
I agree. I know this was meant to be a joke (and some of it was obnoxious) it was still awesome.
I honestly thought it was pretty good. Not because it'd work in a movie by itself but because we've seen it normally.
This is so painfully on-point. The exposition dumps are just sooo Zach Snyder. He really doesn't get into show-don't-tell. And INFINITE SLOW MO!
That Obi-wan "arm-cut hype edit" was unironically dope though.
I love the “and then I woke up and realised it was all just a baaaad dream😊…or was it?😮💨” ending.
Can't wait for the climax of Return of the Jedi in Palpatine's throne room:
"AAAAAARGHH! Martha, please!!"
"WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?"
How can it be the Zack Snyder Star Wars and not be 8 hours long?
This is just the trailer for the 8 hour cut
Release the Auralnauts cut!
It felt like 8 hours tough
Hack Snyder 😂
@@Clayne151
Yep painfully slow moving 😂
The funny thing is the super slow motion actually has me appreciating the lighting and composition of these Star Wars shots Iike I never have before! Great job on the video, funny as heck.
Low-key the Obiwan fight is actually better here lol
That slow mo shot of Amidala in the Senate worked really well.
Hahah, exposition dump. Beautiful.
I lost when Vader said "It happened again on another planet, years later." Lmao
