the fact he has more health than fire giant, but is almost as fast as malenia and hits like a truck is crazy, truly a challenging boss
He moves a lot faster than malenia in his second Stage.
The health is a bit of an illusion; if you're at or near max scadutree, he's between godfrey and placidusax levels of hp
He's hard for the wrong reasons.
Only challenge are the the flashbangs and framedrops
By far the strongest DLC boss, he just massively outdamages everyone... if you don't count the Furnace Golem as a normal boss of course
Furnace golem isn't even a boss it's a normal enemy, who is somehow more broken then all of the bosses combined including dlc ones

Interesting parralel, radahn highly respected godfrey and i believe styled his armor of serosh, so seeing miquellas hair act similar to serosh really ties it in.
He surely does a lot of poise damage, look at what he did to that poor drake
Bayle has very low poise it would seem, maybe because of lore (missing a leg) but probably due to balance reasons.

Radahn really doesn't use much gravity magic compared to his true self I notice.
The design on his swords are different, no longer the sigils for gravity magic and miquella is also giving him strength and other powers
From what I heard it’s not even Radahn, it’s Mohg coated in Radahn’s spirit. Something along the lines of such
I love Elden ring but man does their lore not make any sense sometimes. So it’s Radahn spirit in Mohg body… so wouldn’t he look like Mohg ?
Also, everything about Miquella screams female. The look, the way Miquella talks. the promised consort Radahn, everything. But they for some reason thought it super necessary to make Miquella a male and create a confusing understanding of Miquella being a gay femboy / not a female. All of which appears to be without any reason. It appears like the lore is sometimes convoluted for the sake of being convoluted

Yup you’re totally right. Elden ring takes a ton from berserk (guts armor and sword, hill of swords, world tree) and miquella has lots of parallels to griffiths. Femboy, blonde hair, inspires devotion, and is on a quest to become a God

The grab isnt that bad if you run drakecrest, boiled crab, fire liver, and flamedrake talisman at like 10+ scadu blessings, very survivable if you're at at least like 75% hp

He's being powered up by an actual God. He's pathetic without Miquella.
Lore accurate Radahn at full power was even stronger. MF held back outer gods, comets, stars etc with gravity magic and then beat the shit out of malenia (supposedly the strongest) and even then with the point blank Scarlet rot attack (power of an outer God btw) still didn't manage to kill him. He didn't even release the gravity spells until we kill a significantly weakened version of him. Prime Radahn was at the very least similar to this or far superior according to lore. @@CalmingVisionary

Malenia and a lot of strong bosses in the main episode, but I'm sorry I didn't face Radan, the king of promise I want you to be on the show, boss..
Dlc bosses have more damage per hit that's it, radhan maybe have more attacks than normally assigned to a boss but that's it, they're hard because you're more likely to die in two three hits since the dph is high.

@@masterofnothing4938 Yep, average "bosses are unfair" argument, I never imagined that a more challenging but still perfectly doable boss (like the main er bosses) would be considered bad just because they have complex movesets and they are fast. Same with people who say er final third is bad because the enemies hit harder, BUT THEY FORGET ABOUT how you also easily get to lvl 150 near the end. Like is 40 points of Vigor too much of an investment when you have 100 points to put into other stats?

@@masterofnothing4938 its not a very complex move set, in the sense of dlc, since base game already has bosses with complex moveset, and I'm not talking about Radhan only Im, talking about Dlc bosses in general, the only reason I died is because I wasn't familiar with the moveset and they two/three shot me. Learning the moveset of most of these bosses was very easy, and I knew when Radhan first swing his sword that I can parry the fuck out of him. He's got some cool attacks ngl but he isn't necessarily tough, i died more to melenia than him. Hence the basic difference that I felt is that they just hit harder.
@@cowhale2488 what are you on about, i don't think people are getting my point, I'm just stating that dlc bosses aren't particularly stronger because of moveset or anything else, its mostly because of high damage per hit, there attacks aren't that hard to learn, once you do you win. Its the same as the base game, just that they hit harder, than base game bosses. That's it.

Radahn is awesome, a true and proper challange, befitting a lord, and now probably one of my top 3 From bosses. I just wish he was a bit beefier, with a proper 2 HP bars, rather then both phases just using the one.

Damn. Thats glorious! But I wish there was a way to disable such ridiculous multi-hit damage for bosses that have attacks like Radahn's mega rock sling. It's obvious that this damage is balanced aroung player being hit once since we get insta i-frames after heavy hit.

Radahn wins that. The only way it's close is if he stands in scarlet rot bomb. In boss matchups whoever has the more aggressive AI wins every time, and that's Radahn.
@@zanido9073the only issue with that is healing on hit, since all of Malenias hits are hitting she just gets free near constant healing the entire time. That’s the main reason she doesn’t work well(meaning it’s just not fair) in boss vs boss fights.

Prime radahn is the best addition to the dlc
It's more than prime Radahn, he's using Miquella's powers and a little of Mogh's power too
Bad comparisson video since by the end you need a lot of Scadutree to survive Radahn, but you don't need the same for lower ranking bosses which is why they deal so little dmg compared to him.
Also, if he is alive, why did they give him same voice as the scarlet rotted shell Radahn? 25mil sales obviously not enough budget for cutscenes on remembrance bosses or different voice overs for normal mobs, like Messmer soldiers having same voicelines as normal soldiers throughout the game.
What good did come out of that 25mil sales is a DLC where about 60% of the map is basically empty, gorgeous, but devoid of any items/encounters.

Radahn got One taste of that Miquella juice and turned into a God! That femboy powerup is no joke! It's also worth noting that Radahn is actually using Mogh's body here, after Mogh had his Omen powers enhanced by the Formless Mother. Hence why Radahn can do a blood flame slash attack. So This basically Radahn + Miquella + Mogh combined! A true power house!

@@davidnewhart2533The oven golem is not strong because it is very easy to avoid and does a lot of damage when it lies down. It just takes a long time, nothing more.
