I don't know if you'll see this but it often feels like you're one of the last truly great video game content creators on the platform. Every time I see a new upload in in my notifications I already know it's gonna be great, and not to say you had a "bad" start but thinking back on when I was watching your Top Dark Souls Rocks video back in middle school it's insane how far you've grown as a content creator. You've inspired me to do a bad rats build with the giant rats, which I will plan meticulously, collect the items for, then fight one or two bosses and never touch again
Romina is my favorite :3 Edit: I watched RT play it and I'm glad you made a video too. Some of those bosses I didn't get to enjoy as much. The Dancing Lion boss has an incredible intro and its design is so cool...
Welp, they did it again. Some really good and fun bosses. I liked the Deathknights and Misbegotten Swordsmen from the minor bosses. Rellanna and Bayle are the goat for me. Mesmer and Midra where great, Romina is spectacular design whise tho a bit wonky with her hitboxes when doing big sweeps. Metyr, Mother of Fingers and Divine Beast I didn't care about too to much either way. They're ok. Putrecent Knight I thought was to easy, but maybe that's because I had good blessing levels and the foresight to bring holy damage, which just melted him. Then there are Commander Gaius and the stupid Sunflower. Not that great. Gaius I thought was a bit spammy with to small openings but ok, no big attacks for him and a lot of dodges in between. And hey, if you like you can fight him on torrent. Which, for the tries I did that way, I found change the fight up quite a bit. Sunflower is just silly and I can't take it serious as a ER boss. Kinda easy too. Last and least, final boss. Once again From stumbles over the finish line with an over-designed spectacle that is just not fun to fight. Left a very sour note in my mouth. Massive, overstimulating, screenfilling visual spam with so small a counter window it drags out the fight into eternity. And of course oneshot-combos. Why not. Because why let the player actually learn patterns when you can just delete their entire healthbar, disregarding their 70% physical and holy negation. I'm kneecapping myself to be tanky so I can learn. Nah, having to restart a 50k hp fight over and over to die to any one attack you haven't figured out yet 2 minutes in is fun. Terrible. And for good measure, throw in two attacks that are inconsistent to dodge. Because why not. Worst boss of the DLC.
Been waiting for you or zero Lenny to watch anything on this. Your videos are always just a fun time. Thank you for all the effort you put into your content.
Held off on watching until I finally beat the DLC, but great video! I especially love how you present the song names for your inserted music during certain fights.
One thing about the DLC is that I cant imagine playing it over and over. Between the super-spammy enemy placements and the overly complex map geometry, I just cant see myself having too much fun on subsequent playthroughs
@@Rubi1007 you're right 😅 But this first playthrough has still been quite fun. Maybe I'll make a new character and run it one more time in the future, because this NG+7 damage is no joke 😭 And is making it... not so fun haha

Honestly, what are people spending their runes on? I'm assuming he's cleared base game, and I've never been below lvl 150 by then, and that's without farming for runes. Other than that, another great Maus video.
More levels, probably. If you're not a caster, you can start dumping into mind for more ash or war usage and faith for buffs. Casters can push endurance for heavier armour sets or dex for casting speed. You can keep spending runes on levels until you hit every soft cap. After that point I don't think you would care if you lost a billion runes.
30:07 Boss's HP only gets scaled for summons made OUTSIDE their room, so spirit ash, by design, cannot affect the boss's HP pool.
