I definitely love your potential, girl. I start a new semester at college again tomorrow. Your training ideas have been so helpful. Hope you're doing super well and take care of yourself

Omg girl sameee!✋😩 i thought it was just me! I just recently started adding hip thrusts back in to my leg days and i hate it too!😅😂 would so much rather do split squats too. Also love how you filming the side angle for sumos&lat pull downs!! so so helpful. Appreciate you!! loved the vid! you’re literally the gym friend i wish i had when i first started 🥺🤍🤍
IM GLAD ITS NOT JUST ME I HATE HIP THRUSTS :((( more content to come and YES i know different angles can be super helpful for form! literally appreciate YOU so much the most supportive person on my YT since the start :') i wish we could be real life gym besties sis ILY
Hey Meg! I have a question about TDEE and how to calculate my maintenance according to my activity :) I walk on average 2 hours a day/15k steps (6 miles, steps from LISS included) incline LISS cardio 3x a week for 30 min and strength training 5x per week with 95lbs as the heaviest I can squat safely at home and hip thrust 130lbs. What would be the most accurate category that reflects my training style? 🙏
I've torn both ACLs and have problems with discomfort when doing single leg workouts. You mentioned you had torn ACL too. Can you recommend a leg workout and or glute workout for people who may need to use two legs? I do use machines to work my legs but I don't have a free weight routine.
omg i'm so sorry i know the pain of acl tears and surgery :( i would focus on all the compound movements! barbell squats, hip thrusts, deadlifts, etc. but a big emphasis after tears is rebuilding the leg muscle for more support! if you ever have any other questions or anything feel free to DM me on IG :) always here
@@MeganBungato I was able to talk to the gym owner to show me a few leg excersise. I mentioned the dumbbells... We have a leg/glute excersise machine that allows you to do hip thrusts . The bar alone weighs 50 lbs and weight can be added if anyone wishes. I'd does the same excersise when someone uses the weight bar on their hips with a towel under it. But this machine has padding and a slanted foot platform that probably is a lot more comfortable. Anyway he showed me how to use that also. Thanks for motivating me to ask . I go to the gym alone and have social anxieties but I took the plunge and asked for help. And I want to thank you. It may sound minimal for most people but for me it's huge. ❤️
yess in this video i am wearing notorious lift slippers! i now use 1hund co but they both are awesome! if you get 1hundco code legswithshmegs saves u a little coin! :)
@@beccamagill5693 yes a flat sole is ideal for leg day for increased stability! these shoes also have a wider toe box for foot health 🤍 i’d say they’re the best and closest thing to training barefoot!
