As an agnostic myself, Islam makes the most sense to me on a logical standpoint. Every prophet worshipped the same God, they all came to the people of their time to help guide people to God. The concept of 'One' is much more appealing than a trinity when it comes to God in my personal perspective. The point which one of you brought up about "Sorry our guy is the right one, everyone else before is wrong" isn't actually true in the perspective of Islam. Since they say all prophets are messengers of the same God, of which Christians decided to idolise Jesus and increased his status to God. If you think of these religions in which prophets came for, such as Jews, Christianity and now Islam having so many similarities as a new "Update" to the same 'Religion', Islam being the latest 'update' makes a lot of sense.
Islam makes the most logical sense, Christianity is more desirable to the average person, Judaism was the first. Islam had 600 years to become a better lie, Christianity is illogical, Judaism was a lie from the start.
First of All - Adam, Noah, Lot, Abhraham, Joseph, Jethro, Aaron, Job - these guys are not prophets.
And - David, Ezekiel, John the Baptist - all these guys made prophecies about Jesus.
Why would some people be called prophets when they didn't make any prophecies?
Why would some prophets make prophecies about Jesus?
How is Jihad justified?
Is Islamic heaven promised?
Why does Islamic heaven provide virgins?
The 72 virgin hadith is a weak hadith
Prophets is English, most Arabs use Rasul or Nabi which means messenger
Jihad means striving for something in the name of god, which also involves studying, making money for your family etc etc
The Oxford definition of a prophet is "a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God" so, yea, I don't need to explain that.
So, obviously, all the people you named in your first paragraph, are prophets, as they all preached about worshipping one God, Adam to his children Noah to the survivors of the flood, Abraham because, you already know why, etc etc etc.
And Islamic heaven is promised to those who worship one God. And if you're a sinning Muslim or Jew, as long as you are cleansed in hell of your sins, then you can come up to heaven.
The Criteria to heaven is submitting to god, and if you die believing in one god, then you'll go. As for people who never heard of Islam (the Americas before the 1500s, the World 0 ad - 7th Century, isolated tribes etc) then they'll be judged as to how they lived their life. @@juvanit8694 you also need to consider that in Islam there might be over 100k prophets. However we only mainly study 24 or 25.
As for a weak hadith, it is linked to how reliable the transmission from Muhammad was. For example a link through relatives or Sahabah/companions of Muhammad is only reliable if others confirm the same thing
It's also how we got Sunnah, or the actions of Muhammad that normal Muslims may follow however aren't forced to.
As for the murder of Infidels, it mostly is found in the Qur'an. Especially when the Quraysh tribes attacked Muhammad and his followers, the most targeted group and also the most vulnerable were slaves who flocked to Muhammad.
Even the permission for self defense is permitted, there are a few ground rules. No killing woman, children, destroying public property, etc.
And some verses such as killing Infidels where you found them is only permitted if they attacked you first. In which case was the Quraysh Medinah War.
When we say islam is the only right religion and the others are false... remember that truth is only one, and falsehood is alot, and remember human can make up beliefs so easily so fast, you have so many misconceptions of religion and reality, when we say islam is the truth...we mean islam is reality, when u have truth(and you're rationally convinced it's the truth)...u don't need to look at other religions and such, mohammad(pbuh) is the final prophet and he's sent for all of mankind because allah(god) said so, why? Because this is the time of technology, the message of islam can spread to many ppl now, and if somebody claim to be a prophet of god we know he's lying

@@AmicableAgnostic @ravip2641 @ravip2641 pls read patiently when it's good and be careful not making up beliefs before finish reading this replay, so i gone searching because im not that educated of quran(because of how much knowledge and details it has), but i didn't find a compelling answers, but i still learnt more about Quran, I'll tell u what i know and what i believe, so quran is made for all times from the time of prophet mohammad, like it gives beneficial guidance that have benefited ppl in the past and still benefit us now and also in the future, for example islam tells the man to not wear gold(now we know why...and only the man as well), prophet mohammad said to close the bottle of water even before the bottle was created(now we know why...water has memory and it gets effected with what we say), and what i believe(and im ignorant about the history) is that slavery was a common thing in the past, because so many wars and such, when ppl attacks muslims and Muslims defend themselves against them...there will be some left of those attackers, so they'd slave them, but islam came to make to improve slavery(at that times) slowly and slowly until it stops it, it was for the good of the slaves and the muslims, islam tells to feed them the food they eat, cloth them the cloth they have, and doesn't overwork them and helps them with their work, so that way they would accept islam by their own will, and because they have no place to go, they're not safe of they're left, and they want to attack the muslims remember, but idk why it's allowed for the man(idk if the women too) to have intercourse with them, tho im 100% certain its for the good of both sides, because there's always a wisdom in Islam's teachings, why do we have to pray 5times a day? There's nothing much to know from islam what's the reasons, but we now know why with the help of the advancement of the humans, for example prophet mohammad said to not close our eyes when we prostrate in salah(prayer), for the benefit of our eyes, and there's a wisdom behind praying 5 times a day, we have to wash ourselves in a certain way before doing salah(this certain way is called wodu), and there are stuff that breaks wodu(makes the wodu not acceptable for salah) and these stuff that breaks wodu are... farting, touching the opposite gender(with exceptions), s*x, touching the private parts, jerking/masturbating, and other stuff but these are the main ones, and u have to take a whole bath so your wodu will be accepted to your salah(with exceptions like farting..u just have to do your wodu again), now if u try to think about it what would that make the muslim(who prays all 5 prayers daily)...it will make them away from opposite gender troubles... literally just touching the opposite gender it will break their wodu, don't be like an animals and have too much sex...focus on your life, don't masturbate or you'll get caught(or at least makes it less im not sure), look how Islam's salah's teaching helps...we could've ended humanity along times ago just without this teaching(because if u don't know..islam was there since adam, it came with different messangers for different times and different nations and places), man on his nature he gets attracted to female way more than the womens's attraction to the man, and women likes attention way more than man, women is more emotional than man and man...can get angry easily and has more strength (although in modern world we see some men gets attracted to men, some men gets emotional easily, these are the worst and hardest times indeed as prophet mohammad(pbuh) said), but pls don't give up too easily, honestly in my opinion i think islam is the most hated religion and the most religion that ppl want to leave... because they love to follow their desires but islam makes it hard for them, and they hates responsibility, and islam is a threat for nonmuslims...if all womens follow islam and starts covering up their bodies...so many women products and businesses will collapse, and men obviously doesn't likes it because they wanna see the women's beauty...and i forgot to mention about the nature of the women... she's more beautiful than man...and she makes herself more beautiful with make up on top, yet islam wants the good for us, so many ppl wanna go against islam yet it wants good for us, like these mathematical miracles, how could u wanna give up easily while there are still oceans and oceans of knowledge in islam, when i was trying to disprove islam i couldn't escape, i found everything points at islam, Christianity's jesus is more like a muslim and even prays like muslims(in one of their bibles) and prophet Mohammad is being prophecied and where he's gonna live and what's his attributes and the name of the places around him and what will happen to him,(and even in the jewish bibles and the hidnu books propheceing him), and all these pointing at the same character/place/events and which are all happened to mohammad, allah didn't let me any get out from this religion...and it was so obvious anyway that it's the truth...but i needed a push and to be sincere with myself, hope there are no mistakes or missed something important... we're a fallible beings after all

I think you guys are really traumatised by your previous religion becomes some of your statements sound so obnoxious to me as a Muslim. Islam is actually quite simple and logical so all these fears you have are just not really how most Muslims feel actually the opposite we feel at peace and content with the truth.

As an answer to your question regarding good deeds, the short answer is that in Islam, if you wanted to do a bad deed and then backed away from it, it turns into a good deed, and if you did a bad deed, only one bad deed is recorded, but if you wanted to do a good deed and then backed away from it, a good deed is written for you, and if you did it, it will be multiplied for you tenfold. In the end, the intention and the attempt to obtain mercy are what will get you into Paradise, not your actions. Also, just being a Muslim guarantees that you will not remain in Hell, no matter the level of your sin.

Truth hurts. It's not about how you feel when someone tells you Islam is the truth. It's merely just the truth for people to ponder on. We are not imposing our beliefs we are just telling you what the Quran has told us. Taking it a bad way is a personal problem (unless of course if the person is imposing Islam on someone). One of the most important things in Islam is Ilm (knowledge) and Allah (God) tells us to gain knowledge by reading. In fact, "read" is the first word that was revealed to the final prophet (PBUH). Seek the truth and it shall set you free.
So is it true your Prophet Mohammed who is supposed to be the perfect pattern of conduct married a 6 year old then consummated her when she 9 and still playing with her dolls (At a time dolls where considered idolitry and only prepubescent children where permitted to play with them).

Answering the question you asked about fervency if one even thinks or plans on seeking Allah’s forgiveness honestly all the sins of that person will be forgiven. When people get emotional listening to the recitation of the Holy Quran it is either because they understand the meaning of what they are hearing or they are touched by the spiritual experience of listening to the Holy Quran and it varies from person to person as well as from time to time for the person even.
Another thing is that in Islam there are certain dos and don’ts and they are referred to as Halal meaning permissible and Haram meaning non-permissible and if one adheres to that then they will be blessed with the Heaven. The basic premise of everything is faith in Allah and that is what the Muslims believe all messengers were sent to propagate.

When God use we its a respectful way of referring to himself just like kings and queens use it and it is clearly mentioned in the bible that There's only one God who is not a man.
When you convert to Islam as soon as you become a Muslim that day, all your past sins converts to good deeds, so if you die that day no you need to do the work god just blessed you and you will go to heaven god willing hope that Answers you questions keep it up

12:00 well from the version of hinduism i know.. if you develop true love for god in your heart and see him everywhere your liberation is guaranteed. This love however doesn't come easily ... And it appears within due to grace of god and guru.. also its not forced.
During my college days I came in contact with ISKCON and started living in one of their bases near my college primarily for getting good vegetarian food and little bit because of spirituality.
They had some principles and daily routine to follow but after a time I got frustated as I wanted to roam around and scroll my phone then study. I once lashed on to senior devotee (guru) there as well. But he never got angry but become sad as I am behaving this way.
I left later but I feel very sorry for how I behaved and now try to follow what i can.
Just the point was to respect your teacher/guru who brought you into spirituality.

The "WE" is also in the Quran ...its called a plural of Majesty ...eg the king would say "WE" have decreed ...doesnt mean its the king and his family it only means its king(his majesty)
To answer your question what is the bare minimum one needs to do to enter heaven is do Shahadah I.e. Say the Allah is One and the Only One worthy to be worshipped and Muhammad PBUH is HIS servant and HIS messenger. If one professes one’s shahdah all the previous sins are forgiven and if one dies after that is going straight to heaven without any sins and as innocent as one is born that moment.
If you guys Would simply take the time to read The Quran you would be surprised to find, as I did, that this book answers all the questions you raised and addresses all the issues you have about religion. That is part of the miracle of The Quran. When you have seen it for yourself and the clear evidence of it's preservation then you will understand why God need not send another prophet and book.

In Islam if you are become a Muslim all the bad deeds you’ve done before are erased and you are like born new like a baby without any sins. So if you die you’ll go to heaven .. also all Muslims go to heaven they will go to hell according to their sins but eventually end up in heaven. But the disbelievers will go to hell but we believe Allah is the most merciful.. so it All comes down to Allah and his mercy on your soul.

Im not sure of which verse you were talking about. But i would guess the OT verse. Which the original language is in hebrew.
Hebrew and arabic share commonalities.
In this case, both has plural for number and plural for respect.
For example elohim in the bible (in OT). Eloh means god, the -im here is the plural part. It doesnt means gods, but rather means "God" with capital G as respect at front. FYI, in hebrew writing, it doesnt have capital word.
Likewise in the quran we encounter The Creator is referred as "We" pretty much often.

Thats why now The Creator has to preserve the last revelation (the quran).

Towards salvation (from a catholic pov.): the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ.
By his sacrifice we have all gained salvation, however God gave humans free will, which includes the decision to turn your back on him.
So any action you take that you yourself feel to be wrong is what turns you away from God and salvation. If you acknowledge them and feel remorse you have the option through confession and penance to have a guided experience back into reconciliation with yourself and thereby God.
For those who couldn't do that we believe them to be in purgatory, which is not hell.
Purgatory is the chosen absence of God by acting and living against your own conscience, which you still have the option to overcome and return to him even in death, whereas hell is reserved for the condemned and per our belief we know of not a single soul being in hell and therefore assume everyone but the saints (who we know to be in heaven due to miracles performed through them by God) to be in purgatory, which is why we pray for the dead.
TL.dr.: in Catholicism it's up to yourself, paradise is open you just have to accept it.
No matter the amount of sins or character, as soon as you turn to Christ you will be granted entry as we have through his sacrifice been granted forgiveness. So the only thing that can keep us from entering paradise is our own decision to not accept that forgiveness and stay away from it, however the door stays open for us indefinitely.
Forgiveness in the truest sense of the word, which can be an incredible tough task

Ive said this before and ill say it again you guys have such little knowledge but ALOT to say, its funny to watch 😂 The bare minimum to get into Paradise is to believe in the existence of your Creator, that he alone deserves your worship and gratitude, belief in his message, belief in the messengers he sent to guide mankind throughout history, belief in the angels, belief in predestination and belief in a day of judgement where you will be held accountable for your actions in this life. Alot of these things are apart of the unseen so you need to have faith to get into heaven.
If a person makes the testimony of faith and dies right after they are guaranteed paradise through the mercy of God, without having done any good deeds. To pass the test of life you dont have to be perfect, you were Created with free will and you WILL sin. We dont believe anyone will ever get into heaven just from doing good deeds. The important thing is to believe in God and to always repent sincerely for your sins. Being arrogant, living by your own desires and worshipping your own intellect or false gods will not get you into heaven.
Forget God in this life and he will forget you in the life to come, the never ending life that many humans so vehemently deny.

We are encouraged in Islam to build societies and communicate and live in harmony.
As for the question of how to know if you made the right or wrong choice Islamically, well, most wrong or right deeds are known from the Quran and Hadith. There is also something in every human being called "Fitra," which is a natural disposition to know God and to discern right from wrong globally (for detailed guidance, you need scripture).
This is the important part: for what you did not know, you are not held accountable. An extreme example would be a non-Muslim who has never heard of Islam or has been exposed only to a distorted version of it, then that person is not accountable for something they could not know is wrong.
As for repenting, your bad deeds are erased and can be turned into good deeds.
Quran quote: "Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (Quran 25:70)
Your intention is extremely important in Islam.
Regarding your "that would drive me crazy" comment at the end, the Quran says: "Allah does not burden any soul greater than it can bear." (Quran 2:286).

No one day is enough InshaAllah and you have to accept by tongue and heart just that "there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) is the final messenger" thats it.
