In my view the problem with the guy in the white shirt is that he thinks life should be pleasant and comfortable on Earth. And so when he goes through difficult times, and prays for better times but still feels hardship he seems to get disappointed and lose faith. The Islamic position is that life is supposed to be hard and uncomfortable because this life is a test for all of us, and we are told that patience during difficult times is a part of faith. God does not serve you with the task of improving your life in Earth. It is your duty to follow Gods commands no matter how difficult life gets (and we believe God never burdens a soul with more than it can handle) thereby passing your test on Earth until you return to face judgement on judgement day and earn your reward for your faith and good deeds.
