I dont think shipwreck reef is very good, from my experience as an expedition enjoyer, the map seems too big and i alwys ran out of explosives to reach the good stuff. Desert ruins however, is very nice. There is always 2-3 explosive walls on the side that is very easy to reach and you always get 2-3 chests out of them.
Manni's doc has a lot of great info in it, i think you can still find it on his channel w/ the command but if not i have the doc favorited for anyone interested

Super long video I know but I feel like when making a full Rog guide it's pretty inevitable. To answer the questions about pricing: I have absolutely no clue what to price my items at until I check on trade with a macro. I also usually have a tab or 2 priced at 15 chaos and 30 chaos and just throw anything I make that's decent into at leaguestart. Hope this helps answer any questions you've had or will have this league when it comes to Rogging!
Think it's worth mentioning that rog gravitates towards offering the crafts that have been previously chosen. Example with the shield you crafted where you skipped remove lowest level mod to preserve 3 suffixes but meant you had to take add a prefix next. When you were trying to preserve a free prefix this is obviously not perfect. Helpful to know specifically with upgrade crafts.

As a rog enjoyer myself i agree with most stuff but some personal comments: I think rings are very hard to craft. In armor pieces you get life bunch of times because there isnt a lot of prefixes to choose from, but in rings and amulets there are so many prefixes that you see life very rarely. As you said, you kinda need to get life but you also need to not fill up prefixes, which is extremely difficult with rog because he tends to always try to fill items. This is why i only pick rings that already has 50+ life, and then try to craft good suffixes on it. I think its not that bad of a thing to fill up prefixes on armor pieces. Because most of the time when you are trying to prevent that, you get an option that just bricks the item, so most of the time i dont skip an option if it doesnt brick it. The solution to having life on a 3 prefix armor piece, is to us an eldritch annul. Since the only prefix that matters on armor pieces is life (most of the time), you can just fill the prefixes, and as long as your suffixes are good, you can eldritch ichor + eldritch annul and craft life. Obviously this doesnt hold for shields, so you are right in that regard. The reason you are not seeing +1 gems on caster weapons is their ilvl is extremely low. When rog rerolls modifiers, it rerolls them X times and chooses the higher ilvl ones, which will always pass over +1 gems, this is why you almost never do one handed caster weapons.

also dont forget not only does your item LOOK better on trade if you put the benchcraft on, it also shows up in more filtered trades and seeing the benchcrafted mod reminds people they can simply just benchcraft whatever on to the item
Man my mind was blown when you talked about what to go for in logbooks. I always went for the damn altar thingies first and made it super hard, but when I think about it the bonus I got was never worth it.
I feel like bows and claws are way easier to hit with essences than rog, or maybe he just doesn't like me, but I never get prefixes that make any sense with him. Crafting armors worked much better for me at least.

i always thought you wanted to have one of each affix open when you sell it so that buyers can choose what they wanna craft on when they buy it but i suppose most people will specifically search for items with a certain open affix and will know ahead of time what they want to add so i can also see the point...just never actually thought about it myself

Rog loves to delete +1 from wand er sceptres)) but once I crafted +1 all and +1 fire wand with empty suffixes at start of the league, somebody take it for 5 divines, but its very lucky craft. Minion wand very likely to craft some good things, sometimes u hit good minion damage and accuracy, and some things. I got 9 divines at ⁴ day for some good minion wand.
What are your thoughts on Rog-crafting weapons/shields specifically in Crucible league? Do you think it will be harder to sell a good weapon/shield with a unknown or bad Crucible tree?
I love this vid, very clear on what your preferences are, and it's hard to argue against your recommendations. I use Awakened PoE Trade to keep my regex expression, for any suppress, movement speed, bone rings, and Convoking wands. Rog's value is in making items that sell as soon as you do make them, so for me the above list works, and when it comes to rings.shields, ammys, if the second craft is not an anoint or an influence, I just move on.
Regarding remanant, I think each remainant gives +5% to artefact and reroll currency drops, so you just want to explode random ones that doesnt kill you?
how would you price the ev shield at day 2 or 3? (rough estimate is enough). Btw, I did not even notice that the crafting was tanking a long time. Very worth my time :D
Use Poe Trade and see what other people are asking for stats like the one you have,if there is nobody selling an item like yours just ask yourself how much you would be willing to pay for the item,if nobody messages you for some time just lower the price bit by bit,works for me at least

I can't imagine that would be worth doing to be honest. If it has a good crucible tree people are just going to scour it and recraft. There's no point to crafting it to a mediocre level in that scenario

i got two bows with triple ele + add arrow. 1 for sanctum and 1 for sentinel. its kinda hard but armour and rings are just free money

I usually sell all logbooks for easy fast currency. With Rog i got 2 bows with T1 triple elemental and that helped with my build xd

Tou should always fill the 6th mod, when I search for items in this case I search for open affix OR crafted affix.

Pretty much my Experience too. There is too much variance in Caster Weapons. Rog makes leaguestarting a Weapon based Bowbuild easy.

You can always craft ele pen on a 2 pref weapon, it’s not that bad imho.
i agree but most players don't know that so it's harder to sell. same thing with hits cannot be evaded benchcraft on claws

Hits cannot be evaded adds a ton of value to items I crafted it on an item and it went from 1dic to a 17 div that sold in 30 mins XD
