To add to this, you can do this in T1 Colonnade + T2 Dunes. They're both easy layouts where you can just run a loop and spot every valuable mechanic that spawns. Map sustain is trivialized by taking advantage of adjacent map drops. Also, Colonnade drops The Patient which is a nice little bonus, sadly Imperial Legacy doesn't drop in low tiers anymore.
This is the best setup for this. This is a strat i've talked with ten about for the past few leagues, happy to see him make a video on it. I'd also suggest belfry. So personally i'd shadow shape away all t2 but belfry and dunes as well as all t1 other than colonnade
so fucking good to see you popping off my friend, remember when you use to hang out on perrythepigs channel and were contemplating starting this channel
So I did some test for my clearspeed and money per hour and ran 10 maps with this setup and ignoring everything except essence mobs, harbinger, red einhar mobs and map boss. Those are my times: #1: 3:47 #2: 5:19 #3: 6:08 #4: 4:53 #5: 4:39 #6: 6:52 #7: 4:47 #8: 4:23 #9: 4:51 #10: 3:51 Without counting #6 because that was a very bad map (pit) I took 4:44 on average. You took 3.5h for 100 maps meaning 2:06 on average per map. Correcting the profit to current div infaliton sets the profit to 5.81 div per hour for you. Since I need 2.25x the time to clear the map, I have less than half the profit. So in total I do 2.58 div per hour with that methode.
One thing that might be able to speed you up is ignoring a lot of the red beasts, you can learn to recognize the important ones (cats/wolves, spiders, frogs) and run past the rest. Also adding something like Adrenaline (Death Rush) or Onslaught (silver flask) can help speed up your build. Remember, because you can do this in lower tier maps you won't need as much damage/defenses as you might otherwise. But also, prices do shift over time, so it's always good to do a little testing like this and compare with other strategies. Your build might do better with something like Expedition that's less reliant on clearspeed for example.
@@Tenkiei expedition is ALWAYS woth more, its just a question of if you wanna do it. reading gets tedious if you spam them, even if you just scan for expe books and immunitie / build breaking tags.
This is awesome, I finally had the knowledge to do something very similar to this. The only difference is that I do Deli instead of Beasts just because I love flooding my maps with mobs 😁
Been doing wandering path for a few leagues, it's a real zero investment run and I get maybe a raw div or two an hour and a tonne of extra small stuff and the odd big hit like an aegis, blights that are almost impossible to lose, fast deliriums and infinite red map sustain, hell overflow if anything some of which are delirious or blight maps with a tonne of oils.
@@stephennetu I change it all the time, last was beyond and breach, all you want to do is path to the node and put on any content you want, it kinda matches the name and wander around the tree chasing small nodes of what you want to farm.
Really good breakdown, I like how you explained why the profit is the same between T1-T16. I personally hate this league mechanic, but I will continue to push just to feel out this strat.
Maybe it's just me but an average of 2.1 minutes per map over 3.5 hours (no breaks) seems more like a job at Amazon than a videogame. How do you stay sane exile?
Crafting is the most profitable mechanic in the game. You can make hundreds of divine orbs in a few weeks time doing basically nothing but pressing shift + left click and trading. A great alternative for people whom are burned out on farming maps. When you get bored of crafting and trading? Run maps again. It's a cycle.
@@AmyLovesYoucrafting requires a large amount of currency to begin doing otherwise you are more than likely just going to burn thru your entire stash trying to make a prifitable item
I just leave wailing on the filter. The big bother with item pick-up in PoE is there's basically zero pick-up range. Once I'm already on the exact tile necessary to pick up the other essences I think the effort is basically already done and just scoop up the wailings while I'm already there. But I can understand not if you're trying to minimize clicking.
Edit - if you follow the setup strictly and do low tier maps (not be a retard like me and run t16s), you might yield similar results. :) I was wrong to jump to conclusions quickly. Kudos, Tenkei!
The biggest problem is poe for new players is how gatekept trading is, you cannot make any currency without both a price checker tool and in depth knowledge of the market behavior during leagues, you also cant make any currency until you have a grasp on what is worth money and what isnt which you can only learn by trial and error bc there is a massive lack of any kind of in depth explainations out there that help new players understand not just what sell but WHY it sells... i have just over 10k hours and every day i see new players quit bc they cant make any currency and are just trying to farm currency thru orb drops which makes their progress thru endgame super slow and they quit bc they see countless youtubers and streamers say "you can make x divines doing this" but when THEY do it they make less than 100c/hr bc nobody explains that almost ALL of that profit comes from trading, this guide is the most open one ive seen so far and even this guide doesnt really help the players that need it most, you tell them to bulksell their essences, they dont know what that means. You tell them to corrupt essence mobs which requires a relatively depe understanding of how the essence system works when really for the really new players its best to just sell corrupting essences instead of trying to use them bc more often than not you will lose money using them, the best piece of advice is the beastiary beasts but even that isnt something these VERY new players can do bc again it requires information and explainations that you arent giving them, your advice isnt advice, its a set of instructions that dont tell you what each individual piece does on its own ut just tells you how to put them together. Explain to them WHY those specific beasts sell, the answer is that those beasts are used in common bestiary recipes that endgame players are using alot so there is a lot of demand for them but the other part of why they sell so well is that not many players like farming beasts to sell bc its boring and tedious on its own so there isnt much supply compared to the demand for them. With essences its similar but not the same, essences sell bc they are used for both earlygame crafting to get cheap gear and later in leagues they are used to create bases for crafting bc they are a very consistent way to get a specific mod on a piece of gear over and over. The advice is good but missing so much of the needed explaination, the only but i outright disagree with is the corrupting essences, if you dont have an in depth understanding of essences and which ones are worth alot and how corrupting tuem actually works (an understanding that doesnt come with this video) then just sell them, thats bc without that understanding you are more than likely to just lose money every time you use one and it will eat into any kind of profit you make. The next thing is the chaos recipe that nobody shares nearly enough, take a full set of unidentified item level 70+ equipment (every gear slot, weapon, belt, both rings, etc) and sell them all at once to a vendor and they will give you 2 chaos orbs for it, do 2 handed weapons bc you dont have to add an offhand that way but if you use a 1 hand weapon you need to include both main and off hand gear, doing this you can make about 10c every 2-3 maps garunteed and with next to no effort, thats bc most all gear early game isnt worth picking up to use, including uniques dont pick them up seriously you will klepto them and fill your stash its not worth it with the exception of rings, pick up every unique ring you find bc you can sell a full inventory of them for a loreweace unique chest that can sell for a pretty penny if it has good rolls. The pricecheck tool i will recommend for yall since not one youtuber or streamer ever wants to mention it is called Awakened PoE Trade you can find it by googling it and going to their github page with it you can press a hot key (alt+d by default i believe) to price check any item you find, it uses poe.ninja so the price is always going to be fairly accurate and one more tip is that if you pricecheck something and it comes up for less than 10c just drop it back on the ground and keep going bc 1-10c items are very annoying to sell bc they are very common so there is a huge supply and very little demand for them, they will just clog your stash. I hope that my addition to the video here will help fill in some of information thats missing from the video
Hey man, new/intermediate player here who just made it into red maps following this guide and wanted to say thank you for the heads up. Do you have Discord? Would love to talk to someone as experienced as you.
@@aidengreene7692 sorry mate never got notified that someone responded, im really not that experienced tbh most of my play time is spent afk in my hideout or just casually running low tier maps, most of what i said is just hand picked tidbits from various sources and put together mixed with just a bit of personal experience.
I have a character in level 89. It is strong enough so I have completed few tier 14 unique and corrupted maps, but it has lots of vulnerabilites in defences, propably because my gear is crap. Just some picked up drops with very cheap spicing ups. I came from anchesters league, which end came as surprise for me. Now everything costs 20x more than they used to be, and I don't have afford on anything. Also, for some reason, my maps have become dry, and I should be happy to get one or two chaos per map. I used to get more in anchesters league. This is basically my first time playing POE. I did play the campaign throug about decade ago, but I think mapping didn't even exist back then. Now I have been just playing around and having fun discovering things, but obviously have been hit by some penalties from my play-style, by comparing amounts of currency you are getting. My total wealth is 3 devines and aroud 60 chaos. That's after completing some hundred maps and playing weeks. I got those divines in early phase and haven't seen them since. I have spiced my maps with everything I can find, but usually ending up just getting more of gear I don't need but not that much anything valuable. Seems that all the gears are for different characters. My atlas tree was reset after league ended, and I thought I made it better since I knew more. I chose more options which shoud increase drops and events rather than prioritizing certain over others, but apparently I messed up or there are difference between leagues. It would be good to have spiced map for dummies guide, to check if I have missed somethin important which is obvious for experienced players. Now I started a new character in new league because it felt pointless to continue. Trading system in POE doesn't courage to use it. Most of the times seller don't answer or answer late and sometimes the item is not what it supposed to be. It might be technical problem, but few times I have bought amulets or rings with crafted options, and while they appeared to be there before I accepted the trade, they are missing from the item. I don't know if that's a scam or is it because I don't have that crafting available, but that shouldn't be possible. The trade should be built in into game and not need sellers participation, at least with fixed priced items. As a seller, I wouldn't like to interrupt my own game for a routine transaction.
I usually go for essence and delve early on, essence is good to get the first few divines after a bit and delve resonators are a nice way to get a chaos supply going since they are easy to farm and sell for 1c on league start.
That is an excelent suggestion, if you happen to be one of those who doesnt yet recognize them you can look them up on the wiki i believe they have images and clips of those beasts you can see to help ya recognize them in game
kinda impressed that u managed to get over 1 fractured orb from harbs in just 3.5 hours, at league start i sat with harbs completing my atlas for around 10 hours and i only got 4 shards, just unspecced after that dissapointment.
It's a decent strat, basically what I am running but with altars and delirium instead of beasts, but you really shouldn't have counted the fractured orb drop for the div/h lol. That is an insane outlier, I've been running Harby all league and didn't get a single raw fracture drop.
Delirium is so profitable. I'm regularly getting decent Cluster Jewel bases and making them worth 4-10 Divine Orbs each and selling them without issues. That's not even counting all the extra loot you get. Add Expedition, Searing Exarch, and Breach on top of that and hello $$$.
my reluts after 50x Strand T3: 1x Craicic Chimeral and 1x Fenumal Plagued Arachnid. Overall net profit 775 c worth of everything (no big drop in currency or Items). But in my opionion Harbringer slows down way to much and didnt looked like worth at all. I will continue to try this. Feels like i was rly rly unlucky.
I used this low investment about 10c at the moment for scarabs and essence to run easier white maps to get my first mageblood, HH and basically any gems I want I farmed 2 mirriors using this strat. What he doesn't say is that its based on luck and he wasn't that luck on the video! I have had consistent fracturing ORBS drop and that is easily 15 div min at the moment and frogs come in waves, when it does you can catch up to 5-10 withi an hour netting your 20-30 divines easily, selling all these items are fast sell, even at lower prices you make a profit with literally 10c white maps investments. Cannot get any more efficient for value for consistent farming, other farming methods needs more currency investment and has no drops in between big lucky drops. This farming geting has consistent 30-40 divines for 6 hours game play a day, every day minimum.
Remember for Essences, Corrupt your MEDS. Easy way to see at a glance rather than color for my colourblind friends, and the letters are more distinguishable than a colour IMO
I can't imagine wasting Atlas points on Essences/Harbinger. Delirium/Expedition/Blight/Altars/Breach/Abyss are far better imo. Beasts, I can understand though.
@@AmyLovesYouessences is a braindead currency printer and harb is the exact same, not all of us like to spend 15 minutes prepping each map to extract every ounce of profit possible, some of us just like to alch and go which essence and harb are extremely good for
in 100 tower maps t4 i got: farric lynx x4, farric ape x4, farric wolf x1, fenumal plagued arachnid x6, craicic chimeral x1, 18 annuls, 23 ancients, 4 ex, 3 fracturing shards and the essences are sold to pay for everything so I don't know how much I did, profitable: yes, if you are slow you will take a long time, my profits were much less than those of the video because I got less beasts and the prices fell. Tnx.
I'm about 60 maps in atm but with only 70 atlas points, I got 1 fenumal plagued arachnid and 4 craicic chimeral. Like 5 of the lesser ones too (25c each on HC). Along with maybe 2 div of essences. Not bad tbh
Red altar nodes are overrated. Instead go blue altars with Rampant Growth, Eldritch Gaze, and The Shadow of Hunger. You can use Growing Hordes/Pack size nodes if you want to add a bit more investment.
idk. have been trying to sell my essences (total of 4 div) on TFT for hours. posted like 20-ish times by now, even upgraded those low tier essences, went down with the asking price to 70%, noone wants them. didnt even sell the special essences and such, so the big resell money makers are still in there. idk why.
Sell the high value shrieking on trade. Upgrade low value shrieking to deafening and roll them in harvest of you have the juice. selling on trade will get you market price. Also, if you insist on using tft make sure you're using the bulk sale tool and don't include anything less than shrieking.
@@alexw.2988 did the last part, wouldnt do the first part (to tedious and juice is fucking expensive with essences prices being down in the shitters because every youtuber recommended essence strat in early). went with heist + searing + expedition now. some ritual i might speck out of again. 60k rogue markes is a divine, the priceless contracts give you 2-4k, the unique ones 3k each, and one 10k, you drop some full revealed blueprints, all for doing nothing but clicking on a box. everything sells instantly. the heist bosses arent any stronger than the 5 mod essences in t16 xd. and the items they drop were both 1 div for me. expedition logbooks as well, tujen gives you the cash directly. easy peasy, bubble gum currency solved as well - > less trading searing gives you awakened sextants and some spar chaos. anything that drops in these mechanics is in average 3x as worth as the essences and sells 100x faster. essences simply suck :D
@@kliersheed yeah essences aren't amazing however they're good to grind for league start. I switched to full legion but idk how worth they are yet, I'll have to track my currency over a bunch of maps. Heist and expedition have been my staples for many leagues so I might switch into those later.
I tried a similar strategy last weekend (harbinger + essences, without bestiary) and it seems now many people are using the essence strategy. Although I got really supposedly valuable essences in a short time, I also witnessed that their values are went straight rock bottom (even Hysteria, Horror etc. at most 10 c (I couldnt even sell them since Saturday noon), most of the deafening and shrieking essences sell for 1-3c).
Yup thats bc all the youtubers and streams got done abusing it for easy currency and decided to all start making videos about it... so now every noob and their friend is farming essences nonstop and flooding the market with a tsunami of supply...
My biggest problem with making currency in the game is how awful the trading system is. What can't people just buy whatever is in my tab at the advertised price without me having to waste portals and risk missing sells because I was busy fighting a boss or something?
essences are not identical between t1 and t16. The essences that spawn on a mob scale with level. You are far more likely to get screaming essences (which get bumped to shrieking, which in turns nets you double the essences due to the duplication node) on t16s than you are on t1s. While essences are still amazing even in t1s, it's much more lucrative to run them on t16s so long as you can still kill them quickly.
Fracturing is VERY rare, thats not where the income from harb comes from, harb income just comes from raw currency as they can drop a fair amount of it the super high tier harb drops arnt worth crying over, youll get them eventually but really what harb exists for is building up gumball currency very very quickly
Hi Tenkiei, I really enjoy making my own builds, but I'm not very good at scaling my damage, and I'm really looking forward to the next installment in the Path of Learning/Build Academy series. Will it be on the topic of damage? I could really use some pointers on where I've gone wrong and how I should be thinking about that aspect of my characters. Will the episode be coming soon? My build feels REAL bad in reds and even high damage, high tier yellows right now.
@@TylerDane if i remember, few leagues before i did cyclone, and then rerolled into unencumbered impale version, lul, then scaled damage of dex. Did all content exept ubers
fairly new player to currency making and crafting, 5 days in had 3 div... thats 4 div off buyint the sceptre ive seen but crafting blows my mind. im gonna have a go at following your tips... even if i do it to 15% of your efficiency - itll be more than ive ver made haah
Wait I thought you'd make MORE profit selling in bulk as people are paying extra per unit in order to avoid having to buy things cheaper one or two at a time. Certainly felt that way when I was selling all my resonators and fossils. Can up the prices by 1 or 2 c per unit when selling in bulk and people would buy it... am I missing something
Exactly. Selling 500 Stacked Decks for 1300 Chaos Orbs at once is far better than selling 5 Stacked Decks for 10 Chaos Orbs 100 times separately. Yuck. The former yields 300 more Chaos Orbs and takes way less time consumption spent trading.
Just a warning specifically tied to essences, either I'm insanely unlucky or there seems to be nearly no one buying bulk essences on TFT. I have posted, watched others post, and see the same names over and over with no change, even when they drop their percentages to as low as 70% of ninja price.
Just looking right now I see 2 people buying essence tabs at ~85% on the wtb entire tab channel. You're better off going to them instead of having them come to you.
I never have a Problem selling Essences there. I Just farm some Bulk, Upgrade everything to deafening and only Post the high Essences there for around 90%. Depending on the League/prices i will sell the good Essences in Bulk manually. Some are worth 3c but If you Sepp 10+ they go up to 8c. After that Just dump the rest on TFT
What I like to do is use the bulk selling tool. Set each stack of essence to one divine. After mapping session, just reprice the stack to one divine. Eventually the stack will get big enough that someone will buy it for one divine. (After a lot of farming)
Sell manually on trade or go to the bulk buyers. You'll get full value in the trade site. Might take you 15 min to sell everything but you'll get more currency.
I don't think people want shrieking essences at this point. I upgrade everything to deafening and sell once I have ~3-4 div worth at 90% Ninja price. Usually get 3-4 messages within 10 seconds of posting my collection
For remnant of corruption, I could do some math that you often make a lost. You say "look for valuable essences", which I'd almost say "look for non-valuable essences" now. That is to say, if you see shrieking essences of contempt and shrieking essences of loathing. You know those will double and they have value. Now if you corrupt them and they turn into torment and anguish, you made a big lost and you used a remnant of corruption to extract less value. But if you corrupt low value essences, the brick is a win. If it turn into something else that is a good outcome. I find contempt were the worst to corrupt this league, because the lowest tier are the most likely to change. If you corrupt shrieking of greed, it barely ever go up, it just change to something else. If you corrupted all shrieking of contempt you found, you almost certainly made a big lost. Corrupting essences is mostly for the last 4... or when you have a lot of essences in there, like 6+. If you look for valuable, you'll brick them and end up on the negative overall.
I'd like yo see this build, gear, passives, etc. I have RF with some pretty good gear and I dont do damage like you seem to do. I'm a newer player so there is a lot I dont understand yet but my RF is 350k and fire trap is 600k
Btw, do you recommend any "duo" of maps? one to run mainly and an adjacent one to help with the sustain? first time playing RF Jugg and going for exp + beasts (never tried beats as well)
My bro has been doing that all day, good money. Beast and essence are just as profitable in T1 as in t16. Well except that it was not alc and go, but sextant, and gilded scarabs. Still not on par with me and Tujen xD
need some advice pls , did they change something to low tier maps ? dont get any drops , essence are very bad in dunes for example and much better in higher tiers . shouldnt it be the same with essences like harbinger? any map recom out there ? tried belfry ,strand , dunes , cemtetary and mybe i miss something , but i need to alch the map , bestiary and harbinger scarab and go ? have the atlas three i need for this mehode
Was something fundamentally changed that beasts are worth to farm like this? It used to be a thing for groups only. Also wasnt making this much even doing legion in T16 lol.
@@Tenkieiyeah my man that aint how that works... group was the ONLY way to do it, just bc that was nerfed doesnt mean doing it solo is somehow better now, its still just as garbage as it always was doing it solo
This is good but relies on the Essence mod being available on map device. What would you change in a league where the map device essence mod is unavailable - such as the next league?
@@Tenkiei Well based on the kirac mods in recent leagues we're certain to get both Legion and Blight. Then very likely Harbinger. And then it's most likely 4 out of these 6: Anarchy, Domination, Breach, Beyond, Ritual, Delirium.
Could you people gimme some advice on what to farm as a Squishy Flicker Striker? Its my fav build and it feels great jumping everywhere but once I have to face Essence, Red Beasts or even some boss maps it SUCKS so hard. Is there a good farm where u need fast clearing not being a tank or ranged?
Magic find is the only option for just mass clearing trash mobs but flicker strike in general just isnt a good skill anymore regardless of what anyone says
I never understood bestiary, is it really that good? I tried following a guide a while ago and I never got a single expensive beast like the chimeral or arachnid and I just thought it was a waste of time despite you making most of your money in this video from beasts, I was planning next league to just at least start by getting completions and doing the T16 maps, going back down to lower maps and run expedition for books and currency, add in essence and maybe later with a faster build, add in legion as well. It is a very stable 300-400c per hour, not super crazy if you take it easy, go casually and chill, however now I am very conflicted about should I run this strat or should I continue with my idea?
Update: I was doing the strat, I was going to come here to complain after running 70 T3 strands, I had only gotten 3 of the arachnids and 1 ONLY 1 chimeral, and now at the last 30 maps I checked and suddenly had 9 chimerals and 14 arachnids, GG ez money
do you still take the notable which gives more split beasts at the moment ? asking because they've seen a drop in price. could prioritize more on cracic chimerals now ?
Sadly I rolled CF and cant kill big essenced monster, beast might be hard, harbinger could be good, maybe I could replace essences with Expedition to fish for logbooks ?
how do you manage to capture so many good beasts like that? I only catch bad beasts....I've done it for more than 200 maps and only beasts that are worth little keep coming. I think you got lucky there.
He fudged the numbers, theres alot of higher up players rn telling newbies to farm beasts for profit bc they want more supply, theres a reason nobody wants to farm them, they suck ASS to farm
If we were to continue with this atlas passive tree (more points than what you have shown) where would you recommend putting the points? I was thinking maybe the scarab nodes in the top left next to the bestiary nodes?
@@Tenkiei I did Harb last league and got like 2 fracture shards. I read that you really have to invest into sextants and all that to get reliable fracture orbs. Is it easier now?
Nope and imo with the amount of points Harb takes it's not worth it heist or blight is better imo plus blight is basicly like a double reward since you get rewards in the maps you run then you can run the blight maps Wich are amazing. Not for all builds though some struggle in blight maps
@@davidmaltais2912 No builds struggle in blighted maps. Even shit characters can run T16 ravaged blighted maps with chilling towers freeze and burning ground meteor towers ring anointments paired with empower and seismic towers. I recommend you look into the AFK tech. Mobs are permanently stuck and cannot move forwards. You just sit at the pump and get paid for minimal effort. Also, burning ground kills all, even fire tower immune mobs. It's HUGE profit for league starting or bad builds that struggle in T16 maps that aren't blighted to begin with. Empowered seismic and chilling towers keep the mobs stunned/frozen, and the meteor towers melt their faces. Cha ching.
@@AmyLovesYouthere is a 1/1000 chance of getting REALLY bad tower node placement that prevents setting up the perma stun combo and a lane can get through but any build that can handle t16 maps can handle 1 lane of blight mobs getting through so its never an actual issue

Spec your tree for blight, harb, delirium, exped and red altars and run whatever maps you want with these scarabs; harb, delirium, blight assuming you can clear these maps in 5/6 minutes youll easily make at the very very low end 5divs an hour
I have completely missed the Bestiary league. What do I actually do for Einharr to make currency out of it? I know about storing beasts into items but that's pretty much it 🤣
You said it was low investment but I don't even have 1 divine to invest. How do you start getting divines to start investing in more money making starts like this? I'm in maps around t8-t10
dunno, but the drop rate for the high value beast seems much lower, i´ve done roughly 250 maps in the last 2 days and the more expensive ish i got just 3 times....
@@Warfalcon my experience is, that essences do much more and stabel income but far from 7 div per hour, and beast are somewhat nice "extra", if you´re fast, you can do somewhere between 2-4 div per hour with this, but u really need to grind it (runin with endgame char - 9mil dps, full res (chaos included) , full supress, 40K armor and eva)

Any ideas for making money in late red maps? I've invested about 20 divs into my jugg rf so far, and I have no clue what content i can pick (was thinking about altars/expedition/harvest, maybe adding some heist chests on top of that). I focused on delve (got to depth 360 and I'm currently looking for Aul/fossil/currency nodes) but i feel like devling just isn't as profitable as other mechanics
As someone who just started playing PoE this league, I'm struck by how GGG has designed a game that is literally just a currency farming simulator in the endgame. It's pretty boring. I love the combat, I love the world they've built...but being completely unable to actually loot an upgrade and being totally dependent on farming currency feels awful. I can't imagine how people play SSF in this game. I'm nearly done with my Atlas and have literally never looted anything better than what I could buy for 5-10c on the trade website. Hopefully they do a better job with the endgame in PoE2, because this ain't it.
SSF is just fine. Instead of selling Essences, you use them. Same with every other "currency". Opting out of trade and just playing the game is very liberating. Slap a bit of item rarity on gear somewhere and you'll find a lot of build enabling uniques, useful div cards etc. If you haven't already done so I highly recommend playing SSF.
@@Tenkiei There’s got to be some middle ground between the loot piñata that is Diablo 3 and the near impossibility of looting decent gear in PoE. Finding upgrades in D2 and Last Epoch feels much smoother. Hopefully GGG takes a page out of their books, because I really enjoy the PoE play style.
The double essence mobs happen when at least one of the essences is shrieking. That means if for example an essence mob has 3 shrieking essences and you corrupt it upgrading them to deafening there will only be one essence mob. That is why he mentions corrupting when it has 1 screaming and 3 shrieking. That way the screaming will upgrade to shrieking and still double the essence mob.

I have not played in about 3 years. I've watched this video at least 5 times and I'm still clueless as to what is being said. Can someone just make a bullet point with the steps of what to do? Sorry in advance.
Yeah got you mate Step 1: disregard the entire video bc he honestly doesnt know what hes talking about Step 2: spec your atlas skill tree for essences and harbingers, you can search them just like how you can search in the passive tree. Step 3: run any and all t1 maps you can get, hit them with an orb of alchemy and run them Step 4: in the map the only things you kill are harbingers and essence mobs, after youve cleared them exit the map and enter the next Step 5 (optional): use corrupting essences on any essence mob with 1 of the purple essences in it Step 6: sell your essences in bulk on the trade site (just google "poe trade" its the first site to come up) Doing this will make around 5 divine orbs an hour as long as you have around 50% movement speed and are able to kill the targeted mobs in around 5 seconds which in t1 maps is very easy to do but at worst (10 minutes per map kind of worst) you can still make 1 divine an hour and this takes almost no effort at all
Hey tenkie, what do you think about legion? Is it worth in low tier maps? Im playing a death oath occu and have massive explosions with asenaths profane bloom and herald of ash so clearing legions is really fun. But dont know if low tier gives bad outcomes
@@Tenkiei what do you think about it in a ssf or groupfound league perspective? Cause im in a private group league and it isnt that much about making the most profit for me
@@hkgaming2842 I'll reply to your question as I was running Death's Oath Occultist last league running Legion in T16 Dunes. Since the release of the Pillaged Treasures node, Legion has been insanely profitable, the most profit you will make is from the chests, the emblems are a nice addition but amount for a lower portion of the profits. Your build excels at running Legion so that's what you should be doing. Legion T16, Additional Legion sextant, Polished Legion Scarab, Legion chance nodes on the passive tree, exarch altars with Wrath of the Cosmos. You don't have to do it, but I also paired that with Expedition, taking most nodes and using Gilded Expedition Scarab to force an expedition in every map, takes a bit more time to complete the map but your build also excels at it, a couple Vaal Caustic Arrow and you clear the entire expedition, and you bulk sell the reroll currency and logbooks you get at the end of a session. I was doing over 10 div / h with that strat with multiple raw div drops from Legion chests.
@@Tenkieii seriously doubt you know what you are talking about after this statement... all league legion has been an EXTREMELY profitable lategame farm
As a new player I have no idea what the hell your talking about 😅 Jesus christ Im 60 hours in and I still can't get the money to finish my basic build.
You can always do a quick test run. But also even if it's not good right now because 30,000 other people try to do it I guarantee in a week or by next league most people will have forgotten or moved onto something else and you can pull out the strat and make a bunch of currency.
And the prices of the beasts are really low and won't sell fast. I've tried doing it and got 2 lucky divine drops and I got one craicic chimeral + a clone. Otherwise I would have had 3 div/hour. Ps using essence on the map device and just running trough maps is already profitable enough imo :D
@@Shodokan123 How to sustain these maps? Do I need favourite slots?
@@Shodokan123 I like the Shadow Shaping idea
@@SurSancho ideally you want a minimum of 3 for shadow shaping to do colonnade variant of the strategy
this league you can go belfry+strand
they are neighbours, with 5 favors you can block all their neigbours for the connected map drops
so fucking good to see you popping off my friend, remember when you use to hang out on perrythepigs channel and were contemplating starting this channel
Thanks! It's been a ton of work but also super satisfying.
So I did some test for my clearspeed and money per hour and ran 10 maps with this setup and ignoring everything except essence mobs, harbinger, red einhar mobs and map boss. Those are my times:
#1: 3:47
#2: 5:19
#3: 6:08
#4: 4:53
#5: 4:39
#6: 6:52
#7: 4:47
#8: 4:23
#9: 4:51
#10: 3:51
Without counting #6 because that was a very bad map (pit) I took 4:44 on average.
Your build might do better with something like Expedition that's less reliant on clearspeed for example.
just run faster lul

Agreed!
Hi defenetly will try this out Thanks for the great guide as always! Cheers from Bulgaria
Wandering path is my go to strategy every league to complete atlas.
Do you have a tree to share?
@@stephennetu I change it all the time, last was beyond and breach, all you want to do is path to the node and put on any content you want, it kinda matches the name and wander around the tree chasing small nodes of what you want to farm.
Really good breakdown, I like how you explained why the profit is the same between T1-T16. I personally hate this league mechanic, but I will continue to push just to feel out this strat.
Maybe it's just me but an average of 2.1 minutes per map over 3.5 hours (no breaks) seems more like a job at Amazon than a videogame. How do you stay sane exile?
I wouldn't. But some people like going fast.
Maybe with some friends? Me with my brother, and changing map + expedition, heist
Its simple. You just stop worrying about staying sane XD
Wailings are often worth .2c/ea or less and I don't like clicking that much but I can see leaving them on as well.
I found it easier to remember "M.E.D.S." - Misery, Envy, Dread, Scorn, see one of those --> corrupt it
Edit - if you follow the setup strictly and do low tier maps (not be a retard like me and run t16s), you might yield similar results. :) I was wrong to jump to conclusions quickly. Kudos, Tenkei!
The beast part of the video is total bs, those beasts dont drop that frequently period...
You have explained the THEORY, and that's great, but I still have no idea what to DO.
Perhaps you could make a vid where you show the value beasts in action?
Because I am sure most people dont know how they look like!
It's a 1/20 for shards to drop as a full orb. I only got 3 "drops" of shards if I remember correctly, one just upgraded.
Amazing video.
Waiting the weekend to switch into yoir atlas tree

Feels like i was rly rly unlucky.
i've run 100+ maps without a single expensive beast. you're not unlucky
Not unlucky, theres a reason nobody likes farming beasts...
This strat is so good I unironically farmed for a mageblood in less than a week. Added Expedition tho and Altars.
Altars alone make more /hr than this entire video does its rediculous
I ran 150 of these and got 0 fracturing orbs and 3 fracturing shards. Unlucky I guess.
Remember for Essences,
Corrupt your MEDS. Easy way to see at a glance rather than color for my colourblind friends, and the letters are more distinguishable than a colour IMO
Ive probably done over 800 maps this league, i had harbinger nodes since day 1, and i have yet to drop a single fracturing shard.
I can't imagine wasting Atlas points on Essences/Harbinger. Delirium/Expedition/Blight/Altars/Breach/Abyss are far better imo. Beasts, I can understand though.

Sell the high value shrieking on trade. Upgrade low value shrieking to deafening and roll them in harvest of you have the juice. selling on trade will get you market price. Also, if you insist on using tft make sure you're using the bulk sale tool and don't include anything less than shrieking.

60k rogue markes is a divine, the priceless contracts give you 2-4k, the unique ones 3k each, and one 10k, you drop some full revealed blueprints, all for doing nothing but clicking on a box. everything sells instantly. the heist bosses arent any stronger than the 5 mod essences in t16 xd. and the items they drop were both 1 div for me.
expedition logbooks as well, tujen gives you the cash directly. easy peasy, bubble gum currency solved as well - > less trading
searing gives you awakened sextants and some spar chaos.
anything that drops in these mechanics is in average 3x as worth as the essences and sells 100x faster. essences simply suck :D
Yup thats bc all the youtubers and streams got done abusing it for easy currency and decided to all start making videos about it... so now every noob and their friend is farming essences nonstop and flooding the market with a tsunami of supply...

essences are not identical between t1 and t16.
The essences that spawn on a mob scale with level. You are far more likely to get screaming essences (which get bumped to shrieking, which in turns nets you double the essences due to the duplication node) on t16s than you are on t1s.
While essences are still amazing even in t1s, it's much more lucrative to run them on t16s so long as you can still kill them quickly.
after 100 maps i have gotten a total of 0 Fracturing orb shards I have all the harbringer nodes and its useless how come ?
Fracturing is VERY rare, thats not where the income from harb comes from, harb income just comes from raw currency as they can drop a fair amount of it the super high tier harb drops arnt worth crying over, youll get them eventually but really what harb exists for is building up gumball currency very very quickly

Is the essence compass worth? It adds essences and lots of remnant drops but less of the 15c essence drops since most essences come already corrupted
Not worth it, I forgot who tested last league but there was a big spreadsheet. Maybe Fyregrass.
Easy tip for corrupting essences... only ever corrupt the big 4 M.E.D.S

This is good but relies on the Essence mod being available on map device. What would you change in a league where the map device essence mod is unavailable - such as the next league?
Without knowing what is available on the map device or what prices the options will be I have no idea.
I'd prioritize Chimerals now.
Sadly I rolled CF and cant kill big essenced monster, beast might be hard, harbinger could be good, maybe I could replace essences with Expedition to fish for logbooks ?
If I dont like harbinger can i replace it with expedition? What changes should I do to make the switch?
Part of this strategy is going fast. expedition really slows the mapping down and doesn't really complement the strat.
i hate expedition with a passion so i like this tx.
do you always want to upgrade essences before selling? In some cases it looks like you lose money by doing so
Most of the time yes, because the amount I lose is less than the amount I gain by saving time. But some leagues, no.
how do you manage to capture so many good beasts like that? I only catch bad beasts....I've done it for more than 200 maps and only beasts that are worth little keep coming. I think you got lucky there.
He fudged the numbers, theres alot of higher up players rn telling newbies to farm beasts for profit bc they want more supply, theres a reason nobody wants to farm them, they suck ASS to farm
If we were to continue with this atlas passive tree (more points than what you have shown) where would you recommend putting the points? I was thinking maybe the scarab nodes in the top left next to the bestiary nodes?
I would go for delirium, expedition or blight as those are 3 extremely profitable mechanics
I'm a new player and am wondering what is causing the explosion effect while you're running around. Is it fire trap?
Herald of ash i believe, when hes killing an enemy its applying a burn to surrounding enemies
This is too complicated for new players. Can you do a noob series? 😂❤️
Essence+Harbi is my go to early league money making strat, usually transitioning into harvest and alters once I'm reliably farming 16's.
Ess + Harb + Expedition is my go-to, paired with Blue Altars.
What loot filter you using? 🙏 Can you send me a link? 🙏🙏🙏
Harbinger drops aren't affected by map level?
Well shit, I've been running those wrong for about 4 or so leagues now..
For a little clarity: The normal monster drops are. Maps, etc. But the Harbinger currency shards (such as Fracturing shards) are not.
@@Tenkiei Arent the amount of shards they drop affected by map quantity though? So red maps will on average make them drop more stacks which=more chance at fracturing? Or is it a completely different drop table
I started to play in this league and my build is running T16 but I still struggling to make some money to upgrade my build. I don't know what to do to get money
I know about storing beasts into items but that's pretty much it 🤣
You trade the beasts to other players, thats pretty much it
Split beast are VERY, and I mean V.E.R.Y good this League. Simply because literally doubling your divines is... pretty good.
sorry bro your map use ache? for rare map or not use standard map? sorry for my english
You said it was low investment but I don't even have 1 divine to invest. How do you start getting divines to start investing in more money making starts like this? I'm in maps around t8-t10
Try harbinger invitations, its not much, but you can get enough for your next strategy
I don’t know much about bestiary. How are you making that currency off the red beasts?
Craicic Chimeral and Fenumal Plague Arachnid are commonly used in beastcrafting thus have high demand.
Just in case you don't know, you buy a bestiary orb from Einar that lets you itemize the beasts, so you can sell them.
Is it worth taking the blight nodes when you’re just using scarabs, or should they only be used with blighted maps?
Atlas passives don't apply to blighted maps, so only take them when you're using scarabs.
dunno, but the drop rate for the high value beast seems much lower, i´ve done roughly 250 maps in the last 2 days and the more expensive ish i got just 3 times....
same here, I tried running beast all day today and it was pretty shit tbh.
@@vladimirsara9790 Yeah same for me. I can run super juiced maps but it seemed the beast just don't payoff as much. The ess on the other hand is great.
i played poe for like 3+ years and had a pause for like over one year now, so this Atlas Tree is new to me, is there like a allrounder Tree witch can be used?
Atm i just skilled what i liked but now on lvl 92 i thinkin im wasting some currency by not have a strategy, can anyone help?
Any ideas for making money in late red maps? I've invested about 20 divs into my jugg rf so far, and I have no clue what content i can pick (was thinking about altars/expedition/harvest, maybe adding some heist chests on top of that). I focused on delve (got to depth 360 and I'm currently looking for Aul/fossil/currency nodes) but i feel like devling just isn't as profitable as other mechanics
My plan is Expedition/Logbooks (you can check out the Rog livestream, and a video is coming soon).
Expedition and Delirium beat just about everything on the atlas tree.
Delve isnt profitable until extremely deep depths... much further than 360
Why don't you use craiceann passive?
i was try it but after 100 map i had just 1time Craicic Chimeral is there a chance to raise it?
As someone who just started playing PoE this league, I'm struck by how GGG has designed a game that is literally just a currency farming simulator in the endgame. It's pretty boring. I love the combat, I love the world they've built...but being completely unable to actually loot an upgrade and being totally dependent on farming currency feels awful. I can't imagine how people play SSF in this game. I'm nearly done with my Atlas and have literally never looted anything better than what I could buy for 5-10c on the trade website. Hopefully they do a better job with the endgame in PoE2, because this ain't it.
PoE2 will be more of the same, that's what ARPG players enjoy. But PoE may not be for you and that's ok.
@@Tenkiei It would be nice to find a decent upgrade once in a while, like Diablo 2
Hopefully GGG takes a page out of their books, because I really enjoy the PoE play style.
what loot filter do you use?
I thought when u corrupt an essence it won’t double, that node confuses me
The double essence mobs happen when at least one of the essences is shrieking.
I mean aren’t essence pretty rippy when juiced up? What do you mean you don’t need a strong build to do it?
Things in a T1 map have very little health regardless of how juiced they are.
@@Tenkiei I didn’t think you could get higher tier essences in t1s. Have I been living my life wrong this whole time?
@@jordanharrison8769 you can
how does beasts work in party play. Does everyone in party get the beasts?
It got nerfed, but how I don't know. I think both party members need to be close together now in order to get them
Gross, I hate having to trade for mats to run maps... Not sure if you calculate how long it takes to actually make all those trades into the equation.
I do this strategy, but I hate the leveling experience. Traps, rf, bow, v gyre. None are a good experience for the 6 hours it takes to get to maps
How is rf not a good leveling experience? You just walk past and everything dies and basically nothing can kill you.
@@Json-cp5yb rf bossing feels terrible and regen was a problem. I obviously played these skills in different leagues
@@JfkNeedsWindWall frostbomb/mastery for regen, fire trap for bosses, add armageddon brand if u can for extra, I always do these for leveling.
@@henri470x I'll try that
So you're just using bestiary scarab and harb scarab, is that right? Plus alch
no, only alc and go, the contents are guaranteed from atlas passives + map device essence
@@henri470xatch the video maybe? He specifically shows that you use bestiary and harb scarabs, thats bc the garunteed spawns from atlas tree arent enough
I have not played in about 3 years. I've watched this video at least 5 times and I'm still clueless as to what is being said. Can someone just make a bullet point with the steps of what to do?
Sorry in advance.
Yeah got you mate
Step 1: disregard the entire video bc he honestly doesnt know what hes talking about
Step 2: spec your atlas skill tree for essences and harbingers, you can search them just like how you can search in the passive tree.
Step 3: run any and all t1 maps you can get, hit them with an orb of alchemy and run them
Step 4: in the map the only things you kill are harbingers and essence mobs, after youve cleared them exit the map and enter the next
Step 5 (optional): use corrupting essences on any essence mob with 1 of the purple essences in it
Step 6: sell your essences in bulk on the trade site (just google "poe trade" its the first site to come up)
Doing this will make around 5 divine orbs an hour as long as you have around 50% movement speed and are able to kill the targeted mobs in around 5 seconds which in t1 maps is very easy to do but at worst (10 minutes per map kind of worst) you can still make 1 divine an hour and this takes almost no effort at all
beast or the limit will be reached soon. Any suggestions?
Please tell me more about beast's limit.
Go to your menagerie, talk to Einhar, and release or orb beasts.
Where can i found you filter please ?
toxic rain league start is fine with that? guys?
Hey tenkie, what do you think about legion? Is it worth in low tier maps? Im playing a death oath occu and have massive explosions with asenaths profane bloom and herald of ash so clearing legions is really fun. But dont know if low tier gives bad outcomes
I don't think Legion is worth it atm even in high tier maps tbh.
What is the build you use on this video ?
RF Jugg: th-cam.com/video/kUI_4aOuQzk/w-d-xo.html
Isnt harvest beast memory better for beast profit?
If you can afford it yes. But that doesn't really fit into "low investment" anymore since IIRC each memory is around 1 div.
Zealot's does not break the build right?
Zealot's Oath completely breaks the build.
As a new player I have no idea what the hell your talking about 😅 Jesus christ Im
60 hours in and I still can't get the money to finish my basic build.
hello all, plz how use RF without lose hp, i don't understand, i have 133 Res % of fire but i take a lot of damage =( ty all
life regen, you dont nedd 133%, if u reach the resist cap 75% or 80%, the key is life regen on belt and you passive tree
Whats you armor mtx? Wanna buy it ehehe
The Enchanted Armor set from the newest supporter pack.
How to do u sell the beasts?
Cool video, I wonder if it's still viable now that 30,000 people saw it lul
You can always do a quick test run. But also even if it's not good right now because 30,000 other people try to do it I guarantee in a week or by next league most people will have forgotten or moved onto something else and you can pull out the strat and make a bunch of currency.
@@Tenkiei ye I was just being a stinker kek. I was going to try it anyway
Selling beasts is one of the worst tedium wise. Or I'd do this every league
Honestly you don't lose all that much currency by just selling the big beasts (Spiders/frogs).
Counting the fracturing orb is really not honest imo... without it your profit is about 5div per hour.
And the prices of the beasts are really low and won't sell fast. I've tried doing it and got 2 lucky divine drops and I got one craicic chimeral + a clone. Otherwise I would have had 3 div/hour. Ps using essence on the map device and just running trough maps is already profitable enough imo :D
can you share your filtreR?
So basically after this video, you can expect to make 2 to 3 diviner an hour lol
