So for 10 years I played PoE on a single monitor (and I still play on a PC from 2015) - in the month I made loath thunder I got a lot more money from streaming than I usually do so I bought some new stuff , including 2 new monitors - one of whixh I keep streamlabs on, to my right, which is also where I see twitch chat. I didn’t get a bigger desk though, so it’s basically 45 degrees from the monitor where the game is , directly in front of me. There is a “record” button on streamlabs that I use when I make TH-cam videos , but since I don’t know how to edit and since I do everything live on Twitch, every video is done in 1 take without a script. However, because the computer is old- doing all this at once, especially with discord and lots of web browsers open, can cause the stream to crash (which I’m sure some people who might read this can attest to) - the look to the right at the start of every video is because my eye line is staring at the streamlabs monitor to the right , and the pause is me waiting to see if people in chat start spamming “F” because that’s what they do when the stream crashes. If it does and they do, I restart the stream and recording so that the people watching live can serve witness to what I am doing as being legitimate, unedited, and reflective of the market conditions as I present them. This has helped keep me honest over the years,and get feedback from people about what I’m about to post before I post it. (Although admittedly, I should probably get a new computer 😂)
Thanks for this video I never really did the flask or any of these they are helping a lot had to buy 2 ciders got mana reduction on skills the first then the rarity on the second. Also I'm glad your videos are longer and you do the steps and show them it makes it so much easier for ppl like me and other new ppl to understand and go through the steps with you so no need to apologize or rush it. Again thanks for your guides I was going to try the harvest memory but they are up to like 8.4divs each now the essence one that I like is also like 2.5div. You're a legend for videos like this mate. An additional tip for cluster jewels is to look at what other jewels popular builds need and use craft of exile to calculate the best (cheapest) method to craft it. Check if the cost of the cluster is worth the crafting cost/time and go for it. I'd recommend picking a craft you can do on average 5+ times to protect yourself from bad luck.
You can actually find them yourself. All you need is the margin between expected investment and expected sale price to warrant going for it. Sure you need to do some research and math, but it can be worth it.
I literally only learned that Belton speaks really, really, really, really fast. I couldn't keep up with all his quick clicks either. It's definitely a good insight video, but like PoE, very overwhelming still.

Support player who likes rolling and selling flasks when waiting for the carry to come online here: I find that Topaz, Ruby and Sapphire flasks are very nice to craft for the Mana cost reduction mod because they are easier to have up all the time. Having the mana mod on a Granite or an Amethyst is an annoyance for many builds because they have a tendency to fall of quicker. Of course mageblood users don't need to deal with flask uptime but I've made decen't little side income with Topaz flasks especially (Because Topaz flask doesn't have good unique flask options)
topaz is also really good just because lightning coil is so popular so that extra reduction from lightning damage is super nice, whereas i don't always run ruby or sapphire
@@paragrin8385 Yeah, Topaz is really the best one to roll for sale because Ruby has Dying Sun and Coruscating Elixir and Sapphire has Taste of hate, which are all quite popular flasks and you don't really want to have multiple of the same base type. But Topaz is almost always used as a magic flask because Vinktar's Vessel is very unpopular.
Yeah it's completely nice to ruin strategies. These market disproportions are meant to be rewarding for the people who desperately looking for something to profit from while they don't have a decent build to farm something more rewarding, but videos like this do not actually make more poor people rich, they do the opposite - a single man with 10 divines and 0 patience is enough to shut this door completely for current league and couple leagues after

You're right that the markets will obviously be affected by a video like this in the immediate aftermath, but over the long term things tend to (read: always) level out. On top of that, if you are one of the skeptics who doesn't think these strategies will continue to be profitable, go ahead and buy up the supply chain, make your money on what is effectively a short. Alternatively, use your own time and energy to figure out how you can apply the strategies present in this video in other ways, the most obvious example being low ilvl cluster fossil crafting using other bases. Or, you can continue to live in a fantasy land where "a single man with ten divines" controls entire corners of the market for multiple leagues. 🤡
Good video. While doing content that relates to your own interest (extremely high-end crafting) is most likely the thing that interests you the most, making videos like this for the "average farmer" who can't be bothered to think too deeply of their strategies but who can greatly benefit from simple knowledge like this will for sure make your channel more popular. In general in PoE, if it involves rolling a lot of alterations (flasks, cluster jewels, etc) it's more than likely going to be profitable, as the people running magebloods and juiced content HATE wasting time rolling 1000s of alts and will happily pay a premium to save the trouble.
The thing on this strat is it is not that profitable anymore if many people are doing it after this clip 😅 it is still a good game knowledge though that can be done in the next coming leagues.

you could also abuse the equal weightings of synth maps with the Justified ambition div card for even less currency, although buying those requires a much larger time investment and you can easiliy buy out the entire market, so its probably not worth the time at this point in the league. The people who are most thankful for this video are Cortex boss runners as the price will surely go down))))
So obviously these markets have corrected and don't really work anymore. In the vein of 'give a man a fish/teach a man to fish' type thinking, how do we, as players, learn to recognize these gaps in the economy that can be used to make currency?
I would like to primarily see a 5-10div starting point. I would also be interested in 20-30div starting point. In any case I will be looking through your old content to see if I can get inspired by some ideas, since it's my first league where I'm trying to walk the path of the hideout warrior. A video about discovering opportunists in the market in the second month of the league would be nice (one that assumes we have some currency to spend).
I've been playing PoE since Talisman league, and watching PoE CCs for much of that time. Never subbed to a single one... until today. Decent instruction on making a bit of change through straightforward crafting rather than yanking that one armed bandit. Went into my menagerie (which I seldom touch) and noticed I had somehow captured a beast worth four divines! Because I was checking to see if I had any of the others named in this vid. Aaaand... my first run with Primal Rhex returns a cortex map. As for cluster jewel crafting: There is no 'increased attack damage' option when searching for such on the trade site. I know the jewels exist, I can find them when I do a conventional broad search, but when attempting to add that into the search filter it simply does not exist as an option.
@@markbaugh-og3my I posted the question on the forums and someone pointed out: They're classified as 'enchantments' and the normal ones in the dropdown return fail results. Must choose the enchantment version.
Last league I made slot of money selling anomalous gems with your methods. Now that those methods are gone is there anything that is similar that you can figure out for this league? And if you could only give 1 example so I can figure out the rest of the examples on my own :P

The take away from this video(and others like it) is to learn the game and look for stuff that doesn't make any sense in the market. I didn't know about the beast giving synth maps, so I couldn't even begin to take advantage that. As far as flask crafting goes it's absolutely broken for a "never gotten a divine" player. You can easily craft a 30c flask starting with 10c worth of materials(base + alts). With 30c you can craft 3x 30c flasks. Now with 90c you can craft 9x 30c flasks and when they sell you have over a divine. It will take some time to sell, but you are a "never gotten a divine" player you have time to wait.
I have just rolled flasks for mageblood, and if I see T1 of anything good its often worth it to stop and start on another flask as even if its only selling for 150c-1div and you're rolling to get the 2 div flasks its just better to get another base and start over :)
So if you roll to sell it doesn't matter as if you hit a lower tier you just sell it to a mb user instead and start rolling then next flask if the T1 hit is good enough :P @@FubzyMC
the point here is that in league, don't let your divines sits in your stash because is it will devaluate very fast. buy items like locks that will get more expensive as the league comes to an end.

thanks for this Belton. I'm a real novice PoE player. only 1/3 way into atlas - but the furthest I've ever gotten in a league (usually get a bit bored/distracted by some other game). I've seen a billion videos on how to get X number of divs from Y number of divs investment, but zero content on GETTING those first divs. I've had 1 div drop randomly in a map which unlocked my gear this league... and that's it
Primal Rhex are already 90c on trade now haha - I love these sort of videos for ideas on how to approach making money but they are always a double-edged sword as soon as they get a bit popular. Still great content though!
What you need to do is to save this video and use it next league once everyone already forgets about it :D Or keep a document with all these strategies and apply it next league.

its been 13 hours, average cost sits at 4.5 div now and cluster with 3 desired mods sits at 4.5-5 div, i dont think 2nd strat is working rn... base cluster is starting at 1div+ too at the moment. flasks are as low as 1 div now even with 30 and 70%
jewel is 4 divs now..could not roll one with 80 fossils that i spent 4 divs on :( edit; i actually made 1 jewel so im still down but ehh these videos do drop the price of the target item quickly. still poor..thanks for the vid, ill keep grindin
Comprehensive guides are better than short ones. For example: I created a Elemental cobralash Deadeye. Just like the guide i just had rares and a Wasp Nest. However my character struggled with as low as t5 maps because i didnt have the clusterjewels that multiply the damage. Only the mandetory notable (Fan of blades)
That’s bad luck but you’ll be able to make it all back within a day at most, and then every day thereafter for the rest of the league. The mana reduc craft and 3% life regen craft are both must haves as well, to use on other base types.
@@BeltonPoE I got both the mana reduce and life mods from the flask. What are some crafts to look out for so I can take advantage of having those. So far made 2 perfect gold flask pretty ez.
Every time I need something my first inclination is to make it myself, after spending a minute doing that , I check the market to see if it’s cheaper to buy or make myself, usually it’s the latter. If that gap is large enough , I do it several times to see if it’s a liquid enough market to merit throwing into the passive income arsenal, and I throw it in the ole’ memory bank or make a Google sheet for it. 95% of previous strats from leagues past work league over league , and I’ve played close to 30 leagues over 11 years, so I have a lot to pull from. Additionally, I have 40/40 challenges 14 leagues in a row, which forces you to interact with every league mechanic and all sub- league mechanics usually, (ie abyss expedition Harvest temple etc etc) - in so doing giving a lot of first hand experience / up to date understanding of potential gaps that exist within each one of those mechanics and their respective crafting currencies or interfaces.
I actually like the more in-depth "rambling". it helps to explain things rather than gloss over them like most creators do. I honestly would say slow down the speed of delivery just a fraction, and in editing make sort of a white board in the corner to show the math as you go through it. the numbers were coming kinda fast and would jumble up. the human brain that knows the information can comprehend the information at this rate, but for those that do not know the information base, it takes a few to digest and comprehend the information being thrown at them, and your target audience are the ones that don't know the information base. if you have too, cut the vid into sections. explain this one or two ideas, then you can make them into a series. its a win for the viewers, its a win for your total time and videos viewed stats. after you broke down the first one or two ways (a bit slower) I absolutely would have watched part 2 part 3 etc.
I did the math earlier. At 75c you should on average sit at 15 div/h. That is if you can Sell everyrhing. So decided against most things He recently put out. BUT next League 😊😊
Cortex is at 1.4div. the others still at 40c. In general there are not too many primal rhex on the site I did this method for quite some time. Including running the synth maps plus the invitations. It was huge profit. Now it's more or less even
1 tip from a new player .. talk slower, stop flying around with your mouse… and just use 1 second to actually show what you are crafting with … completly lost me
Unveil can cost more since you might not get it on the first go, but unveil is also "free" if you just spam betrayal in white maps(limits possible drops from catarina). Also you won't be crafting just 1 flask, so if you paid 1.5 div for the unveil that will be recouped very quickly.
the 1.5D on the unveil is just a 1time cost (if... you get the unveil the first try lol) and if you buy the flask. You could try doing the first ones just dropping the flask yourself and start buying the bases once you have some money to invest
Who would have thought that you could make money buying something that guarantees an outcome worth more than your investment. Now you just need to find such a thing without him having mentioned it.
1) Wait a few days until interest in the method drops. 2) You can apply the strat to different things in poe. This might work with anything that can be target farmed (other beasts, bosses, div cards, any kind of drop restricted item, really). All you need is the margin between expected investment and expected sale price to warrant going for it, especially if you like the content you might need to engage with in the process.
Even better strat for starters. Use resonators with fossil for chaos modifier and use it to craft chaos clusters. Look for unspeakable gifts + unwaveringly evil combo(third passive could be anything really) I'm not even sure if item level restriction is needed. Edit: the last one is wicked pall
my luck with rolling things is not nearly as good... cost roughly 420c just to get 2 gold flasks to have the perfect 30% (and that was just rolling at the crafting bench), add to the base cost of the flask, it is losing more than 2 divines to make 2 flasks which is the opposite of profit. RNG... RNG'd me.
Alright, did it again - cost 391c to buy 3 flasks, 100 baubles and 30 enkindling orbs. I had some of each already, but I was down to 17 GBB to hit 30% and went ahead and stopped at 69% for enkindling to see if that will be good enough. Either way, stopping there maybe makes 3 div, after spending AT LEAST 1.8 div. Still profitable with lucky rolls, but not without.
i've spend my last 3 divines trying to craft this cluster jewel, on craftofexile it says average 4k alt but i've spend more than 6k and god knows how many regals+scouring, end of the league for me i guess...
I personally don't like to kill bosses to double or triple my money, because that means I need a strong character and I might die. Shaper/ uber shaper is also an option, because that's the only pinnacle boss that guarantees profit ( I believe it's the fragment drop ). The fight is harder in comparison to bestiary bosses though. The flask option is insanely funny, I never knew we can profit that way 😭

how has the hideout warr strat gone for you? Im late league starting and am wondering how to turn 40d into way more.

Went into my menagerie (which I seldom touch) and noticed I had somehow captured a beast worth four divines! Because I was checking to see if I had any of the others named in this vid.
Aaaand... my first run with Primal Rhex returns a cortex map.
As for cluster jewel crafting: There is no 'increased attack damage' option when searching for such on the trade site. I know the jewels exist, I can find them when I do a conventional broad search, but when attempting to add that into the search filter it simply does not exist as an option.
In search, type “added small passive skills grant” without quotes, and there will be a dropdown to the right with the different options.
@@markbaugh-og3my I posted the question on the forums and someone pointed out: They're classified as 'enchantments' and the normal ones in the dropdown return fail results.
Must choose the enchantment version.

Last league I made slot of money selling anomalous gems with your methods. Now that those methods are gone is there anything that is similar that you can figure out for this league? And if you could only give 1 example so I can figure out the rest of the examples on my own :P
I hate using tft. What are some good aisling slams? The only one I know of is for boots to reveal movement speed.

The take away from this video(and others like it) is to learn the game and look for stuff that doesn't make any sense in the market. I didn't know about the beast giving synth maps, so I couldn't even begin to take advantage that.
As far as flask crafting goes it's absolutely broken for a "never gotten a divine" player. You can easily craft a 30c flask starting with 10c worth of materials(base + alts).
With 30c you can craft 3x 30c flasks. Now with 90c you can craft 9x 30c flasks and when they sell you have over a divine. It will take some time to sell, but you are a "never gotten a divine" player you have time to wait.

I have just rolled flasks for mageblood, and if I see T1 of anything good its often worth it to stop and start on another flask as even if its only selling for 150c-1div and you're rolling to get the 2 div flasks its just better to get another base and start over :)
Anytime I get T1 decent roll I'll Aug for hopefully T1 Inc effect.

So if you roll to sell it doesn't matter as if you hit a lower tier you just sell it to a mb user instead and start rolling then next flask if the T1 hit is good enough :P

the point here is that in league, don't let your divines sits in your stash because is it will devaluate very fast. buy items like locks that will get more expensive as the league comes to an end.

thanks for this Belton. I'm a real novice PoE player. only 1/3 way into atlas - but the furthest I've ever gotten in a league (usually get a bit bored/distracted by some other game). I've seen a billion videos on how to get X number of divs from Y number of divs investment, but zero content on GETTING those first divs. I've had 1 div drop randomly in a map which unlocked my gear this league... and that's it

Primal Rhex are already 90c on trade now haha - I love these sort of videos for ideas on how to approach making money but they are always a double-edged sword as soon as they get a bit popular. Still great content though!
What you need to do is to save this video and use it next league once everyone already forgets about it :D
Or keep a document with all these strategies and apply it next league.

You didn’t craft the correct item level then. That being said, devastator is great. Sell as is.
I easily sold those pots for 70c.(nothing crafted) I like when ppl are hooked.
its been 13 hours, average cost sits at 4.5 div now and cluster with 3 desired mods sits at 4.5-5 div, i dont think 2nd strat is working rn... base cluster is starting at 1div+ too at the moment.
flasks are as low as 1 div now even with 30 and 70%

Comprehensive guides are better than short ones. For example: I created a Elemental cobralash Deadeye. Just like the guide i just had rares and a Wasp Nest. However my character struggled with as low as t5 maps because i didnt have the clusterjewels that multiply the damage. Only the mandetory notable (Fan of blades)

That’s bad luck but you’ll be able to make it all back within a day at most, and then every day thereafter for the rest of the league. The mana reduc craft and 3% life regen craft are both must haves as well, to use on other base types.
@@BeltonPoE I got both the mana reduce and life mods from the flask. What are some crafts to look out for so I can take advantage of having those. So far made 2 perfect gold flask pretty ez.

Every time I need something my first inclination is to make it myself, after spending a minute doing that , I check the market to see if it’s cheaper to buy or make myself, usually it’s the latter. If that gap is large enough , I do it several times to see if it’s a liquid enough market to merit throwing into the passive income arsenal, and I throw it in the ole’ memory bank or make a Google sheet for it. 95% of previous strats from leagues past work league over league , and I’ve played close to 30 leagues over 11 years, so I have a lot to pull from. Additionally, I have 40/40 challenges 14 leagues in a row, which forces you to interact with every league mechanic and all sub- league mechanics usually, (ie abyss expedition Harvest temple etc etc) - in so doing giving a lot of first hand experience / up to date understanding of potential gaps that exist within each one of those mechanics and their respective crafting currencies or interfaces.

I actually like the more in-depth "rambling". it helps to explain things rather than gloss over them like most creators do. I honestly would say slow down the speed of delivery just a fraction, and in editing make sort of a white board in the corner to show the math as you go through it. the numbers were coming kinda fast and would jumble up. the human brain that knows the information can comprehend the information at this rate, but for those that do not know the information base, it takes a few to digest and comprehend the information being thrown at them, and your target audience are the ones that don't know the information base.
if you have too, cut the vid into sections. explain this one or two ideas, then you can make them into a series. its a win for the viewers, its a win for your total time and videos viewed stats. after you broke down the first one or two ways (a bit slower) I absolutely would have watched part 2 part 3 etc.
Classic, Posted yesterday, Gold flask base up to 50c, jewel bases 1d, primal rhex 75c, farric has 25c margin, fenumus has 25c margins.

I did the math earlier. At 75c you should on average sit at 15 div/h. That is if you can Sell everyrhing. So decided against most things He recently put out. BUT next League 😊😊
Cortex is at 1.4div. the others still at 40c. In general there are not too many primal rhex on the site
I did this method for quite some time. Including running the synth maps plus the invitations. It was huge profit. Now it's more or less even
1 tip from a new player .. talk slower, stop flying around with your mouse… and just use 1 second to actually show what you are crafting with … completly lost me

The gold flask one - you need to account for the unveil cost (1.5d) and bases (60c). So really you turned 3d (not 150c) into 6d.
Unveil can cost more since you might not get it on the first go, but unveil is also "free" if you just spam betrayal in white maps(limits possible drops from catarina). Also you won't be crafting just 1 flask, so if you paid 1.5 div for the unveil that will be recouped very quickly.
the 1.5D on the unveil is just a 1time cost (if... you get the unveil the first try lol) and if you buy the flask.
You could try doing the first ones just dropping the flask yourself and start buying the bases once you have some money to invest

I unveiled 6. spent 14 div on them and didnt get the right mod. now I am super broke

Who would have thought that you could make money buying something that guarantees an outcome worth more than your investment. Now you just need to find such a thing without him having mentioned it.
primal beasts are already 100 c xD
1) Wait a few days until interest in the method drops.
2) You can apply the strat to different things in poe. This might work with anything that can be target farmed (other beasts, bosses, div cards, any kind of drop restricted item, really). All you need is the margin between expected investment and expected sale price to warrant going for it, especially if you like the content you might need to engage with in the process.
Fyi, 4 days later several of these methods have their margins cut out. Not viable anymore.
That happens with every video exposing a hole in the market. You either wait it out or check them next league.
Even better strat for starters.
Use resonators with fossil for chaos modifier and use it to craft chaos clusters.
Look for unspeakable gifts + unwaveringly evil combo(third passive could be anything really)
I'm not even sure if item level restriction is needed.

my luck with rolling things is not nearly as good... cost roughly 420c just to get 2 gold flasks to have the perfect 30% (and that was just rolling at the crafting bench), add to the base cost of the flask, it is losing more than 2 divines to make 2 flasks which is the opposite of profit. RNG... RNG'd me.
Alright, did it again - cost 391c to buy 3 flasks, 100 baubles and 30 enkindling orbs. I had some of each already, but I was down to 17 GBB to hit 30% and went ahead and stopped at 69% for enkindling to see if that will be good enough. Either way, stopping there maybe makes 3 div, after spending AT LEAST 1.8 div. Still profitable with lucky rolls, but not without.
Talks about people with less than a divine and then first tip is buying something worth more than a divine. Superb

i've spend my last 3 divines trying to craft this cluster jewel, on craftofexile it says average 4k alt but i've spend more than 6k and god knows how many regals+scouring, end of the league for me i guess...

Lol flask rolling has been a high profit strat since forever.
I personally don't like to kill bosses to double or triple my money, because that means I need a strong character and I might die. Shaper/ uber shaper is also an option, because that's the only pinnacle boss that guarantees profit ( I believe it's the fragment drop ). The fight is harder in comparison to bestiary bosses though.
The flask option is insanely funny, I never knew we can profit that way 😭
