To fix the too-wide neckline of the Skagen Tee, one option would be to reknit the neckband in a smaller size needle and knit a longer ribbing, both of which should pull the garment in.
You are so delightful to watch and a really fun fashion show! I watched them all in one sitting...I love your Cardigan and think you could wear it anytime....very sophisticated yet also very casual. How about purling in the Russian style....I knit Continental, but if you purl Russian style it twists the purl, but is fast and you just knit thru the back loop on your knit rows, and gives you a nice even fabric and would maybe let you knit another Cardigan? I learned to Continental knit by knitting a Vanilla Sock, but I am also left handed and crocheted first, but since the rows are just round and round, might make purling less "offensive" for you and you don't need to worry about make one's, increasing etc. Love your Whitmore Sweater, and with your pretty dark hair you look so pretty in colors. I am Northern Italian too and when I was young I was nice and thin like you, so enjoy your youth and make what you love to wear!!! Would you consider doing an Italian word of the day in your episodes? Anna Knitter does a German word and it is fun to learn something new in another language. I love doing Color Work, and you would look stunning in pretty yokes. Really love your lace sweaters as well. When you put everything together like this I realized how many knits you really did....very productive! But, I was more organized when I worked, had a child, and more of a schedule....now as a retired person just no schedule. But, you truly are inspiring and I hope you have a great 2023!! Never do I miss an episode...thanks for podcasting!!! Sandy
Hi, just founded you… I love all the things you did and I am happy that you also tried things with affordable yarn. I haven‘t knit for over 20 years but I really want to start it again. And I really prefer to start it with a yarn not too expensive. I love your choice - both - regarding the styles and the colors, it matches exactly my ideas. Furthermore i love all things of Petit Knit ( as so many others do🙈). And it feels really good to listen to you🤗. I assume you have got a new fan😉. Haven’t looked the podcast to the end but had the feeling to have to write it after around three parts and that was sufficient to know that I would like to follow you. You knitted a lot during one year, I am unsure if I could manage that. But I have a lot of other things I love doing, quilting and some paper work and so on…., so why don’t starting slowly. I think my first project will be the half and half shawl by Purl Soho, which really is a big project but it seams to be doable after such a long time of not knitting. Furthermore I had the luck to be on a trip to the USA over Black Friday, so I could afford some nice yarns from there on a very very good price… Thanks for sharing all this with us and looking forward to watching more from you! Many greetings and although it’s a little bite late…: have a wonderful new year👋🫶
Hi Francesca, I am finally getting a chance to sit and watch your review of your knits. I love them all!!! You look fabulous in all of them! Off to watch Part 2!
Ciao Francesca buon anno 💥 abbiamo gli stessi gusti tengo salvato il video sicuramente farò un paio dei maglioni che hai fatto vedere e la canotta color mattone. La maglia senape ti sta benissimo questo colore 🤗
Ahhh so lovely classic beautiful timeless sweaters. I need some more 🤪 I ended up selling or gifting most of the sweaters I knitted in 2022 because the only ones I really found myself using were the basic and classic ones without any "frills"!
Annika, I’m 100% understand you! I feel like sometimes it’s quite fun to knit something that looks different and it has a lot of interest, but a good old plain stockinette sweater is what my heart wants! 😂❤️
I love watching your podcast. This gave me so many ideas for this year’s knits. I too am a brunette Italian and all the colors would be perfectly suited to me as well. If I ever make it to Italy I would love to meet up with you. You look identical to me when I was a bit thinner. It is crazy
Love this round up Francesca. You had me at the de-piling sound effect 😂! You present everything in such a way that I could easily have watched another 30 mins. I’m on my way over to part 2 🎉
Oh no, I'm just about to finish a cardigan in Drops Air only - not looking forward to the depilling. But all of these garments look great on you. It was particularly interesting to see the comparison between the Cozy Classic Raglan and the No Frills Sweater. I'm curious about where you get your yarn - my mum spent a month in Italy last autumn and couldn't get hold of any in the shops. She doesn't really do online shopping.
I do quite love my Drops Air-only sweater though and I hope it’ll be the same for you! What color are you using? I feel like I’d like to knit another one 😬 I’m not surprised to hear that your mum had trouble getting ahold of yarn in physical stores. I have the same issue. I actually have a couple to yarn stores nearby but the selection is quite limited. I get 95% of my yarn online 😬
@@AnItalianKnitter I'm using Drops Air in this really dark charcoal grey, it's lovely. Haha, I expect next time she travels there she'll bring a suitcase full of yarn. I think she ended up unraveling a jumper just to get some yarn for her to crochet with.
Wow you get a lot done, impressive. We all need a few laughs so thanks for making me laugh out loud. How do you find the time to knit so much? You must go at warp speed.
Thank you for hanging out with me! I only worked part time throughout the first half of the year (I started working full time in July) so that helped and also I work from home and I can knit throughout the day during my breaks and also after work when I watch my daughter in the evenings. I guess what I’m saying is that I have a good amount of knitting time, which I’m very thankful for 😌
adoro!
I can definitely try this, thank you for suggesting it. A small part of me would just want to throw this is the donation pile, but I’m willing to try hacking the neckline somehow 🤞🏼 Wish me luck!
That was the most sensual bye I've ever heard in a knitting channel....I will be back for part 2 for sure!
Glad you noticed my seductiveness(?) 🔥 I’ll see you soon, babe ❤️
@@AnItalianKnitter🤣🤣❤️
Enjoyed your comments.
I could watch you for hours!❤
This comment made my day ❤️

OMG you have knitted a lot in 2022! Petiteknit your favourite, I'm looking fordward to watch your second part
I will admit that I’m a bit of a PetiteKnit fan girl 😬

Sehr schön, beautiful .
On your v neck tee what if you put elastic only along the back straight neck edge? It might be enough to keep it up on your shoulders
