It's so nice to see all your knitting of a whole year in one (well, two) video(s)! I very much share your aversion towards cropped things. I blame my mother and grandmother who, when I grew up in the 90s/2000s, kept telling me to ALWAYS keep my kidneys warm at all times, or otherwise I'd get a kidney infection and pretty much die immediately.
YES! 😂 I think you must’ve finally discovered the reason behind my aversion. Thank you for this breakthrough and also for your support 🙏 Happy start of 2023
Hi Francesca, I stumbled upon your podcast through a recommendation from a nice lady who is following my podcast here on TH-cam and I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed it and I'm now a new subscriber. Keep up your knits a beautiful!
In awe of how many pieces you were able to make in only a year! I agree about preferring long lengths for tops over cropped pieces. I'm subscribed now, loved these videos!
I watched your Fashion Show back to back and it was GREAT! Francesca, your knits are lovely! I really like the sleeve length on your Cumulus tees....perfect for you since you have slim and longer arms....very flattering, iin my humble opinion. And I also like your V tank with the back best in front....great length for you. You did a great job showing off all your projects. Can't wait to see what you do in 2023. Your figure is cute and I think the sweater lengths you have been knitting are very becoming to you. Brava!
Thank you, Sandy! ❤️ This was so fun to film and edit. I have the feeling in 2023 I might not be able to knit as many garments but I’ll gladly put together another “fashion show” ✨ Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a lovely and encouraging comment
Heard about you from another podcaster; just love your positive demeanor and enjoyed hearing the technical side of your knits. I’ve knitted many of these knits and liked your feedback on the patterns, your knitting, etc. Also, your English is superb!
Brava Francesca! Your trip through your beautiful knitting accomplishments was not only enjoyable but provided great information. I appreciate your comments on the different fibers you used and info re the patterns too. You remind me of my relatives - some of the hand gestures are so typically Italian - makes me smile. Thanks for the show and tell! ⭐
Thank you for yet another lovely episode. It is so useful to hear what people think of yans, the fabric they make, how they wear and of the patterns. Too often it is easy to jump on someone elses bandwagon (if that is a thing), having no idea of how things wear, pill etc. Your knitted things look amazing, and I love your sense of humor. All the best from an Icelandic lady, living in Norway.
Thank you, Siddy! Glad I was useful 🎉 I hope Norway is treating you well, I’m sure there are some amazing yarn stores. That sounds pretty dangerous 💸 😬
@@AnItalianKnitter Norway is treating me as well as can be expected. There is yarn everywhere, in most grocery stores and so many shops to choose from that are pure hobby/craft/yarn stores as well, both in person and online. I now want to reduce my stash to make room fo new things I've learned I want to use. How is it where you live, is it easy to find yarnstores and a good range of qualities and prices?
I would love to knit another one this year. It was hands down a process knit but also a project knit in the sense that I loved both the act of knitting it (with that rhythmic lace) and the finished object ❤️
An amazing year of knitting! I made the Peacock Tea last summer and it was also one of my favorites, it just flew off the needle and I used up some ancient stash yarn which was a thicker cotton and I love the feel of it in the summer. I am now stalking the Ingrid Summer Sweater thanks to you! Great job, thanks for sharing all these yarns and patterns!
A big hallo from New Zealand! Mille merci, Francesca for all the effort presenting your beautiful and interesting garments. Very inspired to cast on a summer garment, love the Peacock Tee! Looks very chic on you.
Your roundup videos have been the most enjoyable that I have watched! I love your style...both for knitwear and podcasting. I am looking forward to watching your knitting journey in 2023. Happy New Year!
Every single sweater fits you perfectly! And they all look flawless, you are a very good knitter! I can't believe how many sweaters you made in a single year. Unbelievable!
Great review of your 2022 knitting adventures! I enjoyed your comments and suggestions for yarns and patterns. Your choices really suit your body shape and sense of style. Happy New Year Francesca.
I have enjoyed both part 1 & 2 and watching on a snowy winter evening from the woods in northern MN. So would you say that Dad's Sweater is even more favorite than No Frills? I think you had really liked No Frills in the past. I am trying to decide which direction to go with one or the other. Unfortunately, I am not blessed with your build which is so perfect for sweaters! I'm not huge but have a "problem" in the bust area.
@An Italian Knitter, Francesca, lovely review of your knits. I wish I had more time to do all your knits. I also did some shorts this summer, home made ones are so comfortable, they are under rated. I do for my both my grandsons each year sleeveless vests or pullovers colour work, fair isle. They always look stunning as unicats. Have you done any items for your daughter? Best wishes Jean
Hi Jean, you just reminded me that I’ve never knitted a vest. I’ll have to keep my eyes opened for a pattern. I have not knitted a lot for my daughter this year, just a couple of headbands and a scarf. I knitted a few sweaters for her before then and she outgrew them so quickly and that bummed me a little 😂 I’ll try again in 2023. Happy start of the new year!
Hey Mercy, I don’t really follow knitting podcasts in Italian for some reason. 😅 My friend Martina Badiali (Badialima) has one here on TH-cam also also does some videos in English here and there.
I think I currently knit a couple of hours a day, in the evenings. However, at the beginning of 2022 I was working part time (not full time) so I was able to knit more! Thank you for stopping by 🙏
Thanks for showing us your beautiful knitted things Francesca - such a pleasure to see them all
This makes me want to knit all the summer tops. The Peacock Tee in particular is so gorgeous.
I want to knit another Peacock Tee this spring/summer! It’s a lovely pattern and Sandnes Garn Line is my favorite ❤️ I would 100% recommend!
It is a great pleasure to watch another episode of yours. Thank you very, very much.

So many beautiful knits - so many knits. 2022 was a successful knitting year for you. Had to add Monday Sweater and Peacock Tee to my queue.

Thank you, Mary! I don’t think in 2023 I’ll be able to knit as much, but we’ll see where the year takes me. Thank you for stopping by 🙏

Great recap! My “to knit” list is growing!
Sorry not sorry? 😬
So many beautiful knits. I had to pause you several times to put things you showed into my ravelry queue. Thank you for all the inspiration🥰

Every time I see your Peacock Tee I regret not joining the knit along and making one for myself!

More beautiful knits. Love it! 😊

Your facial expressions are great 😃 nice pod and I agree that red yarn on your one sweater is stunning!
Haha thank you, Chrissy! ❤️

It was a pretty good knitting year, I must admit. I don’t think I’ll be able to knit this much in 2023 but I’m excited to see how it goes!
Wow, so many beautiful projects. Well done, Francesca! 👏 👏 I especially love your Summer Sweater. I’m sooo inspired to cast it on now!❤
Yay! That’s one of my favourites for sure ❤️ I wonder if I should knit another one this spring/summer. Thank you for stopping by 🙏
Great podcast
Love all of your choices for the year
Beautifully done
Ciao Francesca, e stato un piacere vederti tutto questo anno, baci da Bologna
Grazie Karen, è stato un piacere! Saluti a Bologna, che bella città ❤️

I just found your channel. Your work is beautiful. How long have you been knitting?
Dici che è troppo presto per iniziare ora un #peacocktee in Line? Quel colore 🤩

Do you know of any knitting podcasts that are done in Italian? There are several in French but can't seem to come across any in Italian. Thanks,
