Nice demo of the different pellet selections in this rifle. Mines crazy accurate at 25 yards with jsb exact jumbo rs 13.43 grain pellets. This gun continues to impress!
Dont know if your aware but the regulator is adjustable on these. The air tube unscrews and the there is a lock nut and screw in there. I turned mine out a quarter turn with the power adjuster maxed out and am getting over 800fps now with the jsb exact 18gr. I havent had a chance to put a lighter pellet through it as i have a plethora of jsb on hand at the moment.
@gwhitfield4239 yes it is a very very good gun either way. I do believe it worth the price plus more. I'm absolutely in love with it. It is my first actual pcp beside my 2240 I've converted to hpa and I'm super happy with it!
Hay Gerry, Nice Comparison and good shooting! The bolt action Stormrider Gen 2 (220) has a 19" barrel and an unregulated 100cc air tube. The side lever Notos (265) has a shorter barrel (11.75") and regulated (lower pressured) 66cc air tube. The regulator kit for the Stormrider (95) is an equalizer. All a matter of choices buddy.
I was going to get the regulator for the stormrider but they didn't have any at the time. I may get one because it will become more accurate I think....have a great day Gman.
The DAR gen3 rifle shoots close to 1000 fps w 18gr in 22 cal. It's only a 300 dollar air rifle and regulated too. Just b cuz an air rifle shoots 1000 fps doesn't mean it's powerful tho at that speed. It's meaning the ammo ur using is too light. Heavier pellets at say 890 fps will actually make more power fpe than the rifle shooting 1000 at the level point. And of course w kenetic energy hitting the target. Depending on the head style of the projectile. The DAR gen3 rifle makes more power overall than the Notos does. Although the Notos is short an compact style. I will be doing another video soon on another underrated rifle called the Beeman underlever bullpup. In 22 it makes up to 36 fpe ! An it's only 258 dollars or so :)
Love my Dar gen 3 25 cal! Most accurate air rifle in my collection. I have a Notos as I like to tinker with it. No tinkering with the Dar for me as it is perfection as is in my opinion. Happy shooting!😊
@@stevengoodman3498💯 my friend! You are correct! I own 3 now. The DAR shoots right with my FX Crown and AIr Arms riflelz! No BS.Gen3 About 3 mags in muh .25 about 5 mags in the .22 and 7 in muh .177 gen2. No BS
@@gwhitfield4239 You turn the reg up 1/4 to 1/2 turn counter clockwise to get more speed and FPE. You not supposed to mess w the hammer spring in it. Turning up the hammer spring will only make the rifle harder to cock and puts more pressure on the trigger, therefore harder on the parts and not last as long either! It's only made to adjust the hammer spring when the spring is worn from heavy use.
@@Tom-jw1pe oh yeah it will like 23g better!..23 is more accurate in mine than 21g slugs for some reason..👍but yes it is pretty good with 25s out to 45-50 ish..yds.. mine is..👍
I never adjusted anything… I shoot crossman 14.3 and it shoots pellet on pellet at 35 yards… but when I tried 25 grain slugs i couldn’t even hit a target.. shot low and right…

@UrMoMlOVeSmE1129 I did turn the regulator 1/4 turn to the left and it's like yours shooting over 800 fps with heavy pellets..👍
@@That1E_K1129I'm getting 980fps with 21gr baracuda match and well over 30 FPE. Using FX 25 gr at 940ish I'm getting 44fpe max🤣🤣🤣🤣💥💪💪💪

Did you turn the hammer all the way up ? How many turns in did it take to max it out ?? Now you have to test it at 50 yards for accuracy
Two full turns. It was backed off all the way...I'm gonna do that for comparison and see what happens...
