Upvote this comment so hollow can read these tips from a player who just started playing botw last month ( me ). I am actually only 35 hours in and 2 divine beasts. But I was in the same boots as you not so long ago I think these would help. I will keep it short 1. COOK DA FOOOD🥩 - Dont eat raw food, NEVER. Cooking doubles their benefit so why not. Also don't cook food with too many materials just yet. You waste the extra hearts. Always Cook 80% of your food and keep the rest 20% raw just in case 2. ARROWS ARE CRUCIAL🏹- Dont waste like 10 arrows on a single enemy by using a weaker bow if you have a bow which can like 2 3 shot the enemy. Arrows are actually more imp than the bow itself coz you will keep getting better bows but what if you no/less arrows 😮 3. DONT BE SHY TO USE THOSE WEAPONS🗡️- Keep using your 2nd strongest weapon on casual enemies and strongest on the mini boss or tougher enemies. You will keep getting better weapons frequently. Trust me 4. COMPLETE ANY SHRINE YOU SEE and trade those orbs immediately. I have 50 shrines and just 2 beasts. You need 13 hearts to pull out the master sword so I will say that speedrun the hearts until they are 13 and then do stamina 5. Practice Parry and flurry rush💀 Cant stress this one enough. You will see why 6. You can fast travel to a stable and get your horse from there no matter where it is currently in the world. This could've helped you reduce your recording by at least 20 mins💀 That's it for now. I can keep them coming in the next episode

(unless you’re absolutely forced into it and can’t advance any other way) they do become incredibly useful later! also, the reason your horse isn’t listening is because when it goes off course, you’re supposed to comfort it to build the relationship 😂🥰 blood moon means all the enemies you previously took down are back now- a cool game mechanic to make the game playable for longer. seems like they intend to expand upon that theme in tears of the kingdom as well. ALSO BIG THING- THE FAIRY FOUNTAIN HAS FAIRIES YOU CAN CAPTURE TO KEEP WITH YOU! you have to sneak up on them and grab them- TOTALLY worth it!!
The blood moon is just a reoccurring event during the entire game. Its main function is to respawn all the monsters that you've killed (this way the game makes sure you never run out of resources or whatever). However, the chests that you get from killing bokoblin camps don't respawn as well, so that's that
Love how the blood moon cutscene happens, explains what the blood moon does, and your immediate response is "what does that even do?" Verbatim, Zelda says "By its glow, the aimless spirits of monsters slain in the name of the light return to flesh." The cutscene shows that happening as she's saying it. Enemies are revived. With that funny tangent addressed, I have to say I've been greatly enjoying your playthrough. It's prompted me to jump back in after 4-5 years and I'm having a lot of fun. Happy you're enjoying it! @35:13 That red bokoblin archer sentry carries a respawning Phrenic bow. Respawns after each blood moon. It's a bow with a zoom feature. Comes in real handy for stuff like stealthy kills and sniper work. Once you activate that Hateno tower just behind the mobs' tree outpost, it's a good farming spot. You can just float down at night and quietly land behind him. Take him out and snag the bow where ever it lands. Then scoot outta there. Hardly ever had to fight the whole gang. And if you have the stealth armor?... easy peasy. Just sayin'...
PLEASE START COOKING. I know it's early and you're getting use to the game play but taking out shrines to get health and stamina is going to take you forever and you're going to keep getting killed in the mean time since you don't know the safe routes. Cooking meals you got a pretty good haul to get some temporary hearts stamina and other boost. It will help you SO MUCH with the devine beast ✌🏾

this was my first ever zelda game i really played (played ocarina of time before but i was young i don’t even think i left the lost woods) and the first divine beat and meeting the zoras is what made me addicted to the game.

But once I saw the latest trailer I pre ordered it because I want to start playing day one, it looks amazing and it's incredible how nintendo was able to expand on one of their greatest games of all time
Just finished part 2! Waiting for 3 now. An amazing game! I know people don’t like the durability on weapons but later on you have so many it doesn’t really matter :-) The well with the stone dude, when you use stasis hit the item loads of times! It will go flying :-) The last half hour was amusing getting lost, anyone else shouting “there’s a minimap down on the corner!!! Follow the path” haha
Soothe your horse when it acts up and feed it apples and carrots. That will max the bond. Another thing hunt for korok seeds and take them to Hestu, he will expand your inventor. Enjoying this series!
love ur content hollow i have some tips for u Whistle sprinting can be done forever, but true sprinting is faster than whistle sprinting, so do true sprinting first then go back to whistle sprinting to recover ur stamina, vise versa you've been saying how you're uncomfortable with the controls, u can actually switch the jump button to B like modern games in the settings, might take a bit to get used to again but its worth it you can switch weapons mid air or when performing a flurry rush u can enter something called bullet time when u draw your bow mid air i dont wanna tell u too much because it could ruin a bit of ur experience with the game, but keep going, love your content

I believe at the stable where you registered your horse, its stats showed it to be a wild personality. They take longer to tame but tend to have better speed stats. The more you ride and grow the bond with your horse, it will follow any path without you doing hardly anything. I'd suggest feeding it some apples🍎🐴
When it’s lightning take off all metal. You’ll get shocked. And if you go to the menu when it’s lightning the metal will show a little shock animation. Also the rock and chain, you have to put it in the well thing. You get a seed.

A tip I can give is make sure to always, always have arrows and you can actually farm arrows from any enemy with a bow. You can use your shield and hold it up (wooden shield) to shield yourself and the enemy will shoot it, put away your shield you have arrows. Be careful though it wears down fast doing that. You can around too and pick up any arrows.
Try getting as much as you can for food. Birds, hearty heart gives you more life even more when you cook them. If you see a pattern of rocks they are the korock seeds
Loved this upload, just some quick tips based on your gameplay: You can mine ore with your 2-handed weapons or bombs. They also open large goodie-crates Nearby stables will help you reunite with your horse. When you see a fairy fountain, sneak up/crouch-walk so you can catch the small fairies frolicking nearby. The same goes for other timid critters 2-handed weapons deal a good amount of damage, but are heavier whenever they are equipped. Faster enemies like Yiga and Lizals have the advantage on you when you wield these, they also decrease your run speed. You don't have to go to the Temple of Time to pray, if you don't want to. There is a small statue in every town. Instead of always climbing directly up, climb at an angle (diagonally) . It'll save a bit of stamina. While inside a shrine, check your map. A treasure chest icon on your shrine location indicates that you've collected all the chests inside
STAMINA is the most important attribute. In order to climb the many mountains in the game and escape some enemies you need a lot of stamina. Health, while important (you need 13 hearts to gain the Master Sword) there are dishes you can make that will give you up to 20 extra temporary hearts. For instance, find the Faron Tower and near there is a “Hearty Durian” field. They are yellow spikey looking fruits. Cook 5 of them to create a dish to give you full health - plus 20 extra hearts. Similarly you can cook Hearty Radishes or Truffles for similar bonuses. So especially early, focus on stamina, it will help you out a ton in your journey, climb higher, go further on your glider etc. Also: Break apart all the rocks you see to get gems for rupees or to upgrade your clothing. I’ve seen you pass quite a few of them
The enemies do respawn during the blood moon…i haven’t played in a while but I think the blood moon lasts for the entire night it occurs…thank you for continuing the series and I look forward to the next episode 😊

This is how good this game is, you have a goal to go but there's so many things stopping you and you're curious what it is lol.
The circle of rocks gives you a korok seed. You just have to find an extra rock lying around and place it in the missing spot.
