Hi Karl. Would any of the Visas you spoke about in this video be applicable to someone like myself that has lodged a subclass 300 Visa and has been waiting for almost 3 years for it to be granted? Furthermore would the lodgement of one of these Visas now hurt or prolong the 300 Visa from being granted?

My case is in further assessment since Dec 2019. 2 days back department removed 489 from Global processing times, what does that means. I hope they are processing the on hand applications. Book flights and accomodation only when you had received approval on your visa. Australia visa is really a hassle. I have applied my visa on 6-Jun-2022 and booked all nights accomodation and my flight is on 20-Oct. My family, parents and relative already gotten their visa approval, and now counting on me. If i could not get approval before my flight date, we will call off our trip because of me. In a very stressful situation

Hello Karl, could you please shoot a video to share your thoughts as to why regional visas (494 and 491) appear to be given less priority even when the Australian Government is encouraging living and working in regional areas in a bid to decongest the highly populated cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane? 494 visa experiences the highest delays among skilled visas.
This really bothers me. First, seeing an ad encouraging people to apply but then, the process and the chance that you attain the visa are a hard nut to crack.

thank you for your information and tips. yesterday I submitted my request, but I have 2 questions. firstly, I received a message on my account that 2 Recommended documents need to be attached. 1- is Group tour details (group name list, itinerary) 2 - is Family register and composition form (if applicable). yesterday he notified me before the paid stage that these 2 sections are empty because I did not upload any documents. I understood that these 2 sections are not applicable to my case. what do you think??

Omg! Maybe I got a problem. Im a working holiday and I told to my young sister I'd pay her tickets and accommodation. She used my details in her application, but she only got a message "we'll check your visa". That's taking time
Yes many are taking longer but it does not matter the source of the offer expenses to be paid but you would need to show that money

I am a parent on family sponsored visit under sub class 600. Visa permits single entry for 12 months period. In one of my colleague case similar visa is granted for 36 months period with multiple entry. Can the department make such a differentiation.
I have already applied for off shore PR non contributory category and given queue date 1/6/2016

Hello sir, I applied the family sponsored stream 600 on May 11 and still I haven’t received any update yet, when do you think I may receive an answer from them? And also I’m a full time student in Malaysia. My big brother sponsored me and he’s a PR holder. I provided all the documents from my university and the letter than shows that I’m on study break. In 2018, it was reported more than 60,000 foreigners are living illegally in Australia, and by 2021 it was reported that increased to more than 100,000.
An unlawful non-citizen can be detained and then deported from Australia and the Australian government can recover the associated costs from them. If a person is in Australia and their visa will be expiring soon they should resolve their immigration status before their current visa expires.

i am anxious and emotional up to today. i have applied for my sister and my 2 kids, ages 12 and 4yrs old last May 7 2022
i got the approval of subclass600 for my sister on august 2
i got my eldest sons approval on aug9 2022
now i am still waiting for my younger som aged 4, i havent been with him for the last 3yrs bec of covid. My kids and sister are still studying back home and still enrolled in school and because i am in my bridging visa for my permanent residency i wanted them to somehow stay here for the next three months. I am permanent fulltime working as a civil engineer in one of the top construction compny in the country do i have to worry why my youngest havent been approved the same time my eldest does although and all

i am very sad now if i cant have my 4yo visa approved and i dont know what will be the reason why its taking too long than the other two. hopefully my finances and work is enough for their aspect of financial support.

Hello, from WA, I'm 72,now too weak, and my hubby is 82, not good too, I been here, 17 years now ever been in the Philippines so long , and haven't,seen my mature kids, I'm a Citizen, here now and I have 3 kids who are citizens too,but they lived with their families now and too far from us, I got I kid at home here in WA, but she's in school always, no time to helps me at home, will have operation for my right, knee. All my kids, 3 kids, will supports , my eldest matured daughter, who happens to be my carer's when all my kids,who came to Australia was so young.
