The weird structure at the end of the platform is storage for the rotary market, which is on in that carpark every sunday morning. you weren't lying when you said a bittern vlog might be coming soon!
The frequency is like 1 train every 2 hours. Who would bother to take it? They may use 1 carriage with driver cabins on both sides to cut loss or turn it to electric mini-bus/van service to increase freqyency. Lots of V lines are still dirty diesel so their combustion engines needs oil & have high maintenance cost & regenerative braking is not possible.
I don't think they have planned that far ahead. I guess they will use the Sprinters along there for as long as they can, and then maybe run back and forth a single 3-car V/locity.
Enjoy your vlogs as a fellow Melburnian. Keep up the good work! 😊
Thanks!
I'm enjoying your vlogs as someone who has only been in Victoria since October 2022. I previously lived in Sydney.
Thanks

Ahhh right. What a great idea in having the Rotary market in a focal point like that!

what is the plan for this line after the sprinters are rendered useless? extend to 3 car sets and run vlos?
