  • Travel back in time to see the Temple the way Jesus and his disciples did over 2,000 years ago.
Jerusalem, rich in historical and Biblical heritage, is the home of the Temple Mount, one of the world's most recognizable and visited sacred sites. Now, travel back in time to see it the way Jesus and his disciples did over 2,000 years ago. They knew it as Herod's Temple. We remember it as the Temple Jesus knew. Imagine the scene as Jesus expelled the moneychangers from its outer court and as the veil of the temple leading to its holiest chamber was torn at the time of Christ's crucifixion. Through the use of beautiful animation, the temple is reconstructed and we are brought within its precincts to identify with the experience of those living in Jesus' day. We also are confronted with the horror of the fiery destruction of the Temple by the Romans in A.D. 70. Through it all, we come to appreciate the central role of the Temple in the life of first century Jews and Christians.
    Director: Tom Dallis
    Starring: Dean Shipley, Nicholas Veatch

Fort Antonio had to house 10,000 soldiers and their support and families. We also known that the fort set higher than the temple and it was attached to the fort via a bridge or ramp.
We also know the temple had running spring water.
There is not nor has there ever been a spring on the current beloved location. We also know according to Josephus that the temple was destroyed to bedrock.

They didn't call in 10,000 soldiers until the uprising. Most likely it was only a few hundred at the fort. The uprising could not have been started against multiple Roman legions. The other part you are missing is that any house in Jerusalem could be commandeered as housing for soldiers of the emperial army.

The traditional temple mount in Jerusalem is not the site of the Jewish temples. It's instead Herod's fortified Wall elevated ruins of the Antonia Fortress complex. If anyone looks at the traditional temple mount from a military point of view, a person will notice the resemblance of it to a military fortication with the top of the parapet walls having spaced opening for Archer 🏹 from which to shoot down from. Massive Gates as found in castles. Independent water cisterns and storage systems like a military Base would have to survive a siege. The landing steps are spaced the same length of that of a horse 🐎. The size atop is sufficient to conduct horse mounted calvary attack practice and training exercises with horse's running at speed. If anyone looks at the size of any historical abandoned military castle, fort, Base one could see that the size of the traditional temple mount looks comparable to that a of military Fortress. Elevated above ground level for defensive protection and to be seen to project military power. The Romans did not only have 6000 foot soldiers to house but also horse mounted calvary soldiers which requires Large areas to be able to conduct military training exercises with the horses running at speed within the confined of the Fortress. Herod's temple is much smaller in size likely built in the City of David near the water spring in Jerusalem.

Herod rebuilt, meaning he built his own Temple, which would be the Third Temple; In the likeness of the 1st Temple of Solomon. Herod even destroyed the very foundation that the Second Temple once stood on and Rebuilt, which would make it the Third Temple. Not the Second-Second Temple. Renovation does not include completely destroying a Temple and its foundation.

The temple where the Jews worshiped was destroyed by the Babylonian in 586 BC.
Till today you will see the Jews praying and some crying at the western wall.(what is remaining of the Holy temple) Till today the Jews are the only people in the world who have no place to worship.

The current Temple Mount was actually the old Roman Fort Antonia where the Romans housed their thousands of troops. The Temple was "never" located where the modern-day Jews say that it was......on top of the Wailing Wall. Read your Bible, the Temple was located in the City of David further down the Hill from Mount Moriah. It's all in the Old Testament.

Me also read about this sometimes back . Josephus says very clear ,after the siege of Jerusalem, he looked south from fortress Antonia and the destruction was so big that he couldn't even imagine the place where the temple stood. Because literally was not stone on stone anymore, exactly as Christ said. Read also an interesting stuff ,that the whole story about where was the temple are from a traveler,European if I remember well from the forth-fifth century (can't say the exact date cause read about long time back) who located the temple place where now is the Dome of Rock. How he figured it out - who knows ! If we think that romans after Jerusalem's destruction rebuilt the city in a totally different way.

Christians are deceived and blinded by Satan who perverted the Bible (means Library), Satan hidden the Almighty Name of Our Savior Yahuah and replaced His name with blasphemous (disrespectful) names which are really names of false elohims, like Gadreel, Holi (Hindu god), Lord which means Master or Baal, Iesus, Hesus, Jesus (Sus means Horse in Hebrew which does not mean Savior, according to Psalm 33:17, A horse though mighty but its streangth can not save. Our Saviors real name is YahuShuah which means Yah is Salvation and Yahuah HaDebar which means The Word and also Yahuah the name of the Father which contained the message of Salvation.

Orthodox Jews who don't recognize Jesus ( Yeshua). Will burn in the hell. Jesus preached this all through the new Testament and nothing has changed. Unfortunately Othodox Jews don't understand this but Messianic Jews do. Some people don't even believe the current Jews are the Ancient Israelites of the Old Testament..

Correction... Herod's Temple?... the 2nd Temple was not built by King Herod, what he did was renovated only the 2nd Temple and extended the Area of the Temple Mount (Flatform and Gate walls) mostly on the North, South, and West sides of the Gatewalls... Facts and Truth, historically speaking... Amen.

@@Biblical_DNA FYI, The English word RENOVATED/REFURBISHED, does NOT mean TOTALLY REBUILT (New Construction), but it means IMPROVED (Partially rebuilt) the Existing 2nd Temple Building to create a better facade... The 2nd Temple Building (not the Temple mount) was already TOTALLY REBUILT (New Construction) and totally completed around Circa 516/515 B.C.E. (or 350 B.C.E.) under the appointed Jewish governor Zerubbabel after King Cyrus of Persian ordered the Israelites/Jews to totally rebuild (New Construction at the same location) the destroyed 1st Temple Building built by King Solomon between 1200 to 1000 B.C.E...
King Herod the Great existed only around 72 B.C.E., and the 2nd Temple Building erected during the time of Zerubbabel was already existing at that time, but in 20 - 18 B.C.E., King Herod the great RENOVATED/REFURBISHED (partially rebuilt) the Existing 2nd Temple... King Herod never destroyed completely the 2nd Temple from the foundation, and start a new Construction from the new foundation to the building facade at the same site/location... King Herod just increased some parts/areas by strengthening the foundation and added/altered some precious stones, gems, woods, etc. to Enhance the Existing 2nd Temple to at least matched the Splendor Facade of King Solomon's 1st Temple Building that was destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon around 587 or 586 B.C.E...
Check and verify from the Historians, Bible Scholars, Theologians, and Archeologists regarding this matter...

@@jvlp2046 You might can spread those lies with the uneducated people but not this guy! Herod waited until all of the materials were consolidated before completely DESTROYING Zerubbabel's(Second) Temple. Just because you rebuild a building on the same property DOES NOT mean it is the same building. There was no Second-Second Temple. There was the First Temple of Solomon. Second Temple of Zerubbabel. Third Temple of Herod. Stop hating on a Idumean Jew. Herod was raised Jewish by a Jewish mother.

@@Biblical_DNA There were NO PROPHECIES that a Jewish Puppet King (King Herod the Great) would completely destroy/demolish the 2nd Temple Building erected in the time of Zerubabbel from the foundation, in other words, not a single stone unturned/toppled, then erected a New Construction from a new foundation of the new plan design and new facade of the Temple Building at the same site/location, that makes it the 3rd Temple that the Roman Legion had completely destroyed in around 70 A.D... and not the 2nd Temple building... TOTALLY RIDICULOUSLY LUNACY!
No Israelites/Jews would ever approve of completely destroying their own Jewish 2nd Temple Structure, but only by RENOVATION/ALTERATION/REFURBERATION... Facts and Truth, Logically, Historically, and Biblically speaking... Amen.
