My friend has an 8k tv.... and i really couldn't tell the difference from 4k curved samsung at home. At this point i feel like everything is good and won't have a super noticible change until we have upgraded eyeballs that can keep up 😂
It also depends on what content you played in the 8k tv. If you were watching 1080p video or even a random resolution video the tv will upscale and try to make it look like 8k or 4k. So, try playing content that has native resolution not upscaled or poor quality. There will be a noticeable difference, you just need to know what contents to play.

@@khurammeer3114 for gaming i would stick with a 2k monitor with 144+hz of refresh rate or 120hz in case of ps5, other than that if you really want a tv Qled and Crystal uhd are basically the same colour filter technology, you should be looking at how each panel is retroiluminated, if its edge led, or direct led, (direct led i think is better than the edge) but you wont notice a major difference and also a 120hz of refresh rate too. so any tv with qled or crystal uhd technology, 4k (55"+) 120hz refresh rate would be the best suited to ps5
Just bought a crystal UHD and after watching this video I'm glad I made that choice. Glad I'm not one of the sheep that think this very minimal picture difference is worth $200-300 more because it's not.
Do you have your crystal UHD in a very bright room and notice any issues with brightness? This is my biggest concern not so much the small difference in picture quality
@@marisamarsac2778 It's not a very bright room I have shades over my windows. I can't really say how the sun affects it yet because I'm still waiting on it to be delivered. If that is an issue it seems like an easy one to fix by getting darker shades.

We bought a Samsung QLED QN90B (43") recently, replacing our old UE40D6500. It is being used diagonally above the kitchen table, guessing 30 degree horizontal and 30 degree vertical viewing agle. With this the QN90B is hardly usable, colors grey out pretty much, especially skin colours fade away to grey, and the whole picture seems washed out and milky. Especially when when walking in front of the the TV you notice the color change pretty drastically. Does it even make sense to look at other ranges of Samsung (e.g. the Crystal UHD range such as the 8079), as I don't care so much about nastic features or if black is really black), but more on an overall stable image from different angles. Or will all Samsung behave the same due to their PA panels? If yes I might really need for other panels or product ranges such as OLEDs or IPS panels e.g. by LG.
You gotta show dark scenes to really see the difference, that's where the UHD will be exposed, the Blacks will look somewhat greyish and there will be much more Blooming.
Depends on which qled you get and if you also get it calibrated, I have the q90t samsung top tv in 2020 and it even got another firmware update late last year and blacks are really black blooming is now so minimal and colours and brightness great for a tv 4yrs old.
