My father once a fisherman. They used to catch fish overnight in the middle of the ocean. They used to see fireballs floating and if they accidentally crash on them they just exploded into little fires and then came back to its original form (fire ball) .They also experience voices of horses in the midst of ocean and screaming voices of humans sometimes. Whispers, laughing, singing. He said that the most mysterious and creepiest part of the world is in the ocean.

Reminds me of a place where my late husband used to go on vacation on the gulf of Mexico. All the condos faced the beach. One could sit on the balcony and just watch the sea and hear this beautiful sound 24/7. I'd take a book out on the balcony thinking I would read, but I couldn't read. The ocean was so mesmerizing that I'd just nod off to the sound. With this video, I get to go back and enjoy the sound all over again.

One time on a beach in new jersey you could hear the number 8 sound come from way out in the ocean. I swear to god it was the creepiest thing ever most of the beach left because no one knew what it was. I remember we asked some of the people and they suggested it was a whale or maybe a sonic boom but it was absolutely terrifying.

The bloop @ 1:58 sounds like the rush of an air bubble being created, or a sudden displacement of water from a marine creature's movement.

The moving (drifting or dragged by current?) iceberg grinding across the ocean floor @ 2:30 & @ 2:50 confirmed my earlier suspicion that some sounds must be from underwater land / mass movement (there are underwater mountains and vents, the underside of icebergs and ofc misc. stuff such as downed ships). I knew they'd probably sound freaky from the soundwaves being distorted across the distance and through the water (and also just unexpected).

My great great grandpa was trapped on the top of a submarine in the war . He was in a war. He fell off the top of the sumbarine with his partner. He waited hours and hours for help to arrive. When they did his partner was already dead. He survived and he told me that he seen so many undiscovered things. He said I seen hell and heaven. Evil vs good. Mystic critters and angels surrounded me and lead me to help. No one ever belived me but maybe you will grandchild.
He ended up turning into a drunk in the end. No one ever belived his story since he was drunk but I did and still do.

Those who live near the coast can affirm this. My home is the Indian ocean Kenyan coast and at night when we go for fishing with my dad, we hear this weard sounds, like extended whistles, wind humming, ecos and many creepy sounds

I used to live on the Indian ocean in western Australia. I used to sit on the beach at night and listen to the whales sing to each other. It was beautiful mysterious mesmerizing.

How this works- when the air pocket pops it makes a loud noise, just like when your in the bath, you see a bubble flowing up and it pops making a *tiny* sound that human ears can’t hear, so the bloop and Julia **witch I just learned right now, I did not know Julia was a thing lol** are not a thing! :3

My cousin is a deep sea fisherman just off the Florida keys. We get along very well, until I asked him what is the creepiest thing he's seen or heard on the ocean. Most actually have explanations! A lot of these sounds are from the antarctic, and usually are ice sliding/grinding/falling (Julia, bloop, whistle, and slowdown). Slowdown even sounds like an iceberg grinding to a stop. Upsweep and marianas trench are caused by volcanos, and the others are various geological activity. its important to note these are sped up 10-16 times because they are below our hearing. The last one is the famous lonely whale, which is likely a blue-fin whale hybrid

I'm a seafarer, there's this one time I asked a schoolmate who survived a sinking ship due to bad weather huge waves, he recalled his experience and said he hears a lot of these female voices laughing, singing, and arguing. idk if he's hallucinating but based on the people who survived a sinking ship they all say the same story like legit. The upsweep sure sounded like some engine room alarm or another. Our river boat had a similar sounding alarm for oil pressure fluctuations. Just my opinion.
