Caylus I really hope you respond to this. My sleep paralysis experience still haunts me to this day. It felt like I was getting dragged out of my bed by demons. I only saw a figure at the end of my bed staring at me for 3 minutes straight. I woke up and I was sweating.

Sleep paralysis is like you can't move but only move your eyes, the room is dark. A little bit of light is in your vision, you will see the wrost of your fears aka the scariest demon your mind will ever make up, the demon will walk, run, crawl or teleport near you. You began to feel extreme fear, you have so much fear that you can feel and hear your own heart beating. The demon will come to the side of your bed or whatever you sleep on, or on your chest. You will start to hear the demon making noise, creepy noises your mind will also make up that will be the creepiest sound you will ever hear. After some time the demon will start to make creepy unusual movments, the sleep paralysis demon might hurt you wherever on your body. After some more time the demon might crawl, walk, run or teleport slowly away from you. You will wake up, but if your sleep paralysis demon harmed you in your experience, you will have a 75% chance of that spot on your body to hurt all day the next day. That's how my sleep paralysis experiences go atleast.

I have sleep paralysis 4-5 times a month. It feels like I can’t breathe, move, or scream. It’s partly because I have narcolepsy which is when you pass out even when you’re not tired. It’s thought to be caused by a lack of hypocretin in the brain. Hypocretin balances the amount of time you’re awake during the day. Not enough Hypocretin causes me to fall asleep at random times. I could be in the middle of a conversation and I pass out. When I get tired I have sleep attacks. It’s like I can’t stay awake no matter how hard I try. I pass out, Wake up, and pass out again over and over. It really sucks when I’m doing my make up or typing something up for work. And because narcolepsy is so rare there’s not enough funding to find more than a few medication options or a cure. Fingers crossed for a future where I can stay awake for a full day and not be cursed by sleep paralysis demons

I actually have been in a sleep paralyses about 5 times and I am 11. You are stuck there because you are not fully awake. You literally can’t move anything but your eyes. No noise. They aren’t all demons though. Mostly they are. It was one of the most scariest moments of my life.

I never had sleep paralysis before. But soon I'm getting worried for my family and me about getting sleep paralysis, I am scared to even think about it while listening to these other comments about it, to be honest I don't think my family ever got it one time. So that's good but I'm still really scared about it happening. Sometimes I get nonstop anxiety, which will probably make paralysis it would be worse. Anyway, guys stay safe I pray for all of you that are in bad crises. God loves your mind and Ur attitude the whole thing about you, don't forget that.

I do have a very creepy sleep paralysis story as this is something I often suffer from. I had woken up in the middle of the night to get some water then I went back to bed, a couple hours later I wake up again, only this time I can't move. It feels like gravity is holding me down and it becomes difficult to breathe, I tried talking, and eventually I tried to scream but I couldn't make a sound.after what felt like hours but was actually only 5 minutes I started to hallucinate. Time feels like it moves a lot slower, and I see a figure walk into my room. It looks like my mother but it sits in a chair and I see it morph into a slouched hooded woman with a raspy voice asking me "Where is it?" the figure began to tear up my room, searching for something, eventually it gives up and starts walking towards me, I'm still trying to scream but like always, nothing but the sound of my heavy breathing can be heard. The figure begins to crawl on top of me, I could feel it's breath on my face, I never forget those harsh fire orange eyes it had as it began to choke me. Eventually I blacked out and woke up in the morning, I never forget what happens every time this happens to me, and it is never the same except for the eyes of the creature.

But, I can say that I have never had it and I can tell people are desperate to scream for help. I personally would try not to focus on what's happening and say to myself that this is only sleep paralysis, its not real. Again, im sorry you had that experience. I have experienced it alot of times... I get stuck in the moment and mostly summon things like I am already scared of, like dolls and ghosts like grudge, sometimes they are touching your face and legs and that feels so real and unforgettable, I feel all sweaty and unable to scream or call for help... If you want a storytime sort of thing here, like, what does sleep paralsysis feel like... I have a story. I mean, its not that scary but I have 2. For the sleep paralsysis thing, I sleep on my stomach with a blanket covering my entire body; and I leave my face uncovered to breathe and see. So I woke up (or at least I think I did) and I went to move, but I couldn't move my limbs. Like, gravity had increased in that time frame. I didn't see anything, but I wasn't able to move anything but my eyes and I struggled to breathe. After a little while I forced myself to sleep, and since my mind was awake I didn't doze completely off; and I was able to move a little while later. For the second story I don't know what happened but I woke up and like, time glitched. I woke up and my clock said 3:00 AM but it wasn't 3 AM, it was really 5 in the morning. The scariest thing is, I'm the only one who remembers being up and going upstairs to my parents to ask what was going on and what time it was. So, if anything... the only solution I could gather was that somehow I had gotten stuck at 3:00 AM when the rest of the world was at 5:00 AM in the morning. And the scariest part of this was the fact that I knew I wasn't alone. With my random experiences seeing what seems to be the supernatural, I wouldn't be surprised if the thing i sensed in the corner of my room was actually watching me and tricked my mind into being stuck at 3AM with the rest of the world 2 hours ahead of me. My sleep paralysis story: I want to say the time was around 5:30am when I woke up and couldn’t move. The only thing I could move were my eyes. I look around my room and see something standing in the corner and it comes closer to me. I was so terrified and was able to move again and it was gone just like that. To this day I’m terrified.

I fell asleep and not even a hour later I couldn’t close my eyes and I was being dragged off my bed and across my floor and since I couldn’t open my eyes I could feel the carpet and everything. So i was just about to go to bed and we had just finished watching a scary movie. I did my skin care and finally went into the bed. Until I fell asleep. So what happens is that it feels like a demon is breathing heavily and sitting on your chest and you can barely breathe. It is terrifying and you’re really lucky if you don’t have it but I used to but I don’t anymore. Thank the Lord I don’t so I’m pretty sure you don’t wanna experience sleep paralysis.😟😟😟

Idk if mine counts as sleep paralysis. I woke up.. I couldn't open my eyes or move my body. Only my brain was awake. I could hear and smell but that's it. I ended up feeling something touch me and breathing in my face then peed myself because I had to use the bathroom but couldn't talk or move for at least 30 minutes. It was the worst experience ever.

I have been through sleep paralysis, but at that time I kept my eyes slightly open too look around and I felt breathing on my neck and poking, I made sure to go to my mother and explain it to her.
Level 37, commonly referred to as the Poolrooms, is an expansive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors slightly submerged in undulating, lukewarm water. Each area of the level varies greatly in size and structure, ranging from uniform pools and hallways to more open, abnormally-shaped areas. The walls, ceilings, and floors of the level all appear to be constructed from the same white ceramic tile, with the only deviation from this color being the blue-green hue of the water.
The architecture of Level 37 is varied, but strict in nature; it is eerily pristine, and does not deviate from an orderly evenness. Although the intended purpose of each area is difficult to ascertain, they are much too large to properly serve the function of a pool. The abnormality of Level 37's geometry nullifies any purported purpose it might serve; pillars protrude out of the water in certain areas, much too large in quantity to justify their amount; larger submerged areas lack a ledge to climb out of the water where one would typically be expected; light is cast from irregular angles, leaving some areas completely cast in darkness; and staircases descend directly into deep pits of water, possibly giving the impression that the water was not originally present. Entrances to these deep areas are typically found in the form of descending staircases or direct underwater holes. It is strictly advised to avoid exploring these areas due to their inherent danger, being that they are completely devoid of light and thus have unmapped terrain. Without the proper equipment, one could easily get lost or even drown in the level’s depths.

Upon investigation, traces of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) have been found in the water of Level 37. It is not known whether this rippling originates from a certain point in the level, or if it is a property inherent in the water itself, though some wanderers theorize the level may be so large that it has developed its own tidal forces.
Sound is severely altered in Level 37. Wanderers are affected in various ways, the most commonly reported effects being all noise dropping off quickly, not echoing as it normally would, and feeling "muted" or "dampened". It is suspected that this primarily stems from the sound of the water, which behaves in a subtly unorthodox manner. In certain explorations, the sound of the water is reported to be quiet, almost calming, whilst in rarer cases, it quickly becomes obtrusive and drowns out other sounds. I have actually experienced sleep paralysis about three to four times before. Each time it was either the same or a different demon. One was like a dog but it had teeth in its eyes and I didn't know what the corrupted FNAF robots were at that time. The first time as that I saw the grim reaper demon hovering above my doorway. Third time I saw a huge black clawed hand in my cupboard that was reaching out for my foot. The fourth time I saw the clawed hand again but instead it was holding onto the edge of my bathroom door. I couldn't move through all of those experiences, neither could I talk or cry.

I do not think I have ever had sleep paralysis, but I've had my plenty share of ghosts. STORY TIME GUYS!
When I was younger, me and my family lived in a trailer park, plenty of crimes, plenty of that weird stuff. The first ghost that comes to mind is me waking up in the middle of the night and everyone was asleep. Footsteps echoed across the road and I couldn't see anything since the blinds were closed. I tried not to wake anyone up as I crept over to the window and peeked through. A blurry figure was walking down the road, tall and slightly light blue. The streetlights lit up the road dimly but shadows still ate at the edges of the light. The footsteps continued. I blinked and then it was gone. I think that I thought at the time that it was probably nothing.
The second is me and my siblings were in bed, and we couldn't sleep. My sister had this old guitar that was for kiddies (The plastic ones, this one had color) We were talking and suddenly the guitar started playing, not great only some plucking but it was still scary since it was leaning across a drawer almost across the room. We all went quiet. I also don't know if this was actually real or not because I was the only one who saw it but I saw a faintly illuminated silhouette. I started freaking out but none of my siblings saw it. We ran to our mom's room but she wasn't home yet, so we asked our mom's boyfriend about it and he said to just throw it out. So we did. In the morning it was leaning against our door.
Another time I remember is when my sister would point out a figure that sat on top of our toy clothe's washer (Was probably 6 ft tall, because there was a dryer too) and it could only be seen when the moon would shine just right.
one time, I woke up and I was just laying there (Is this sleep Paralysis, I don't think so) and I usually saw a picture and I think I could move but decided not to. Maybe. all I know is I thought if I stayed very very still that it wouldn't see me as it moved across the room or hanged from the ceiling.
My mom once said that when I was little I would say I saw faces in the clouds.
The more recent ones would be I would get a strange feeling that rippled over my face and I would stay very still. I always wondered if it was a ghost or something. When I was little I had this crazy idea that it was A) a ghost or B) I was transforming or changing somehow (crazy right? I don't think so)
That's basically all, but it's still creepy. But I've always wanted to meet a ghost, to figure out their story. To help them. My mom's boyfriend would say that god would get mad because he sent those who shouldn't go to the opposite of heaven or to heaven had to stay on earth and ponder or let go of something and they could stay there for years, decades, centuries, or maybe a day. Who knows, but we weren't allowed to help them. But wouldn't god not give us the ability to see them if we shouldn't help them?? Or hear them??
Who knows. But maybe you shouldn't help them if they are a demon who is deceiving you are if they are trying to physically or mentally hurt you. It would be an adventure and I'm crazy for both wanting to and calling it that. That's a good story?

I have experienced sleep paralysis. It happened when I was in second grade and I was like 7 or 8. It was creepy af and I still have nightmares from the expirience.

I used to get these like very realistic nightmares a lot when I was younger. I thought it was sleep paralysis but I don’t remember a demon on my chest making it hard for me to breath. But yeah I still don’t know what it is but had them a lot!
Could be fever dreams, these dreams occur more of a nightmare, and feel way to realistic for comfort, it feels like any normal day, if you get dream hurt (hurt in your dream) it feels like it happened in real life, the burns the impact the redness the swelling the bleeding ( if the injuries bad enough for bleeding) but once you wake up, all gone, nothing, it was never there, sleep paralysis I think is when you can't sleep, as the name suggests, you are asleep, with a technically fever dream, but in that dream your PARALYZED, that's where it gets its name I think, and you can only see, and there's some kinda demon, I don't know
If you ever experienced sleep paralysis, all you have to do is in your mind say go away they are more scared of you than you’re scared of them

yes, i have experienced sleep paralysis, it was probably one of the scariest experiences of my life. It was about 2 years ago and I had over slept for a school day. So my mom went up to my room and told me to wake up. I “woke up” but i couldn’t move. it felt like something was pinning my arms and legs down. I also couldn’t speak or blink. My eyes were open and it freaked my mom out. So i just laid there. Eyes wide open, open mouthed and not moving an inch. It took about 5 minutes before i could move and speak again. Once i was fully awake i just started crying. I was so confused and scared of what just happened. But yeah i did end up being late for school that day.

Sleep paralysis isn’t what they’re portraying it is. It’s basically when you can’t move your body, like it’s asleep, but your brain and mind isn’t. You can still control parts of your body. Most likely, you will have the feeling of being watched, like you’re not alone. Then, you might be able to see a figure standing in an area of your room, or, if you’re lucky, right in front, or next to you. That’s your sleep paralysis demon. It mostly looks like a black, shadowy figure. And, it won’t suck the soul out of you, so don’t worry. Also, it’s not painful, you just can’t move. Still, I would stay safe out there! ❤️ 😶😬
