    So glad you had a smooth experience. Vaginal birth is such a rarity these days
    Doctors scare the patients into believing c-section is the only choice and don't even provide proper care. I'm getting married next year but listening to others stories I'm already terrified of delivery.

    Oh my god, so relatable! 😂 I wanted to be a hero too and did not want any epidural. The pain was so unbearable that I yelled for one, but as they say, be careful what you wish for!! Due to a minor issue spotted in my blood work, the anesthesiologist did not allow an epidural 😭.
    I delivered within the next hour and a half without any pain medication and everything was worth it in the end!
    My son just turned 2 months old today and I remember everything like it happened yesterday! ✨
    Congratulations to you and best wishes to your new family 🎉

    Thank you for sharing your experience, Satshya. Most of the women I have listened to, they make motherhood seem like a curse when in reality it is a privilege, with so many women being infertile these days for some or the other reason. Listening to you made me seem like it is a wonderful and fun experience, you would be a GREAT MOTHER to your lil one. Your vibes are immaculate, and this video just changed my entire narrative on this whole birth thing. Shout out to all the mothers who go through so much just to bring us into this world❤

    • @user-ml4ps5cq3v
      @user-ml4ps5cq3v 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      They don't make motherhood seem like a curse they share the raw reality of it. Not everyone's lives are the same. Curse is when you're not treated well when you also are a patient and may suffer ppd and have to also take care of baby it's not easy. Not everything is butterflies and rainbows and sharing the actual truth doesn't mean they make it out to be "curse".
      Also it's defined not a privilege just because some people suffer from infertility. I don't think you understand what privileged means.

    Haha. It was so much fun listening to your experience. I too recently had a normal delivery for my 2nd child (with no painkillers at all) in the month of Feb... I can totally understand what you had been through. Believe me the pain during final stages is unimaginable, haha. I was literally screaming top-notch such that the whole building would hear my scream and i was really feeling embarrassed for my screams lol (after watching your video I feel better that I was not overreacting)... Poor ladies who were in the initial stage of labour, heard my scream and panicked and wanted to go for C-sec... Thank you for sharing your experience. Kudos.

    Hey, really well elaborated. It was like going through my two pregnancies again, super nostalgic. Unfortunately I had to deliver both my babies through C-section as my first born was a breach and my during my second pregnancy I had a condition called placenta previa totalis and hence vaginal delivery wasn't possible.
    Just one tiny almost nothing, breast feeding is lovely..it's the best bonding and I wouldn't have it any other way but formula is equally good and I know there are so many women out there who get so stressed out, hide and feel guilty about the fact that they cannot breastfeed and it's absolutely perfect to give formula. Hence breastfeeding isn't crucial. It's your health, both mental and physical and the baby's health that's crucial. Both my babies are both breast and bottle fed and thankfully they are absolutely fine. Apparently I too was a formula baby. So it's absolutely okay to give the formula. I wish you immense love

    Congratulations Satshya! ❤ Thank you for sharing your experience. ☺️ Much love to you!
    I have a question: did you receive any afterbirth care? Since you're in Singapore are there facilities you opted for regarding postpartum care, you know like the 40day care that you briefly mentioned in your video? Would love to hear your experience of that too, if you received it. 😊😊
