You delivered the knowledge wonderfully ma’am… I so wish the video came out 4 months ago when I was due to deliver my first baby. Anyway I went through all the four stages of induction in a span of two days. It was painful but nevertheless worth it. Welcomed my baby girl with the dawn of May 25 😊💐

I went for a normal weekly checkup @ end of my 9th month. But lightly I had back pain. I complete her about it . Then immediately my doctor took me for a cervical dilation test and she checked and said within 24 Hours my labor pains will get started. But my hometown is 20 km away from the hospital If there is any emergency it takes 30 mins to reach the hospital. So, we explained the situation to the doctor then she asked to admit in the hospital. I was admitted to the hospital by night 8:30pm
Immediately they induced the labor. After inducing my natural pains gone. After one hour it means by 9:30 pm they kept a tablet in vaginal then my labor pains started and after 6hours water is broken and after breaking water within 5 Hours it means next morning by 8:35am I gave birth to a baby boy. During the normal delivery process they used suction to take the baby outside without taking any permission from my family members. I don't think it is the right process my doctor followed. Is it the right procedure ???

Vacuum delivery is Used when there is Maternal Exhaustion or the baby stays in the same station for so long. Vacuum delivery is like assisting you in having a Normal delivery. But consent from you or your family members could have been obtained

Suction delivery is one of the common methods under instrumental delivery during normal delivery but usually the doctor should educate the patient during the 3rd trimester about multiple methods of delivery options like instrumental delivery, episiotomy, epidural and c section so that the patient will be mentally ready for all this. Hope you and your baby are fine 😊

@@suman_behera they have not explained anything about how many types of delivery can be done and in which situation they will choose it. Ya after delivery my baby head looks large in size like an over blown balloon. We feared a lot and we consulted so many doctors but luckily everyone said nothing is serious. Now he is 1.7 months old and he is fine

@@Ameensid8223 ohh, good that your baby is doing good. Usually now a days most of the people only know about normal and c section delivery only, there are many other options to help to ease the delivery, that’s why it should be the doctor’s responsibility to educate so that patients won’t get surprises at the end!!

Most of the Dr perform C section for premature delivery due to any medical condition to mother so how a patient can recognize that an induced labour or C section is suitable for her condition?

Can you please confirm if dates can be eaten or other nuts from 36 weeks to soften the cervix ? Thanks

There is no scientific evidence that eating dates or nuts help in inducing labor. However, there is no harm in eating dates and nuts provided they are taken in moderation.

Hi! Speaking from my personal experience, I got married 5years ago and was on contraception for 2yrs then I stopped and started planning for baby since 3rd year of marriage after 6 months of trying went to doctor for irregular periods then got diagnosed for pcos. I never had any issues with irregular periods or cramps since teenage years. Due to pcos my weight drastically increased, I was very lean throughout my life but started gaining weight like anything. After some tests and almost a year of trying that doctor suggested to go for IVF without knowing the reason both myself and my husband didn’t want to go for IVF at such early age. I started exercising and taking balanced diet, lost some kgs.. my menses also got better, I went to another doctor for follicular study for 6months.. and could find out my ovaries and uterus is working fine, it was just a matter of time. Universe listened to our prayers and I got 2magical lines after almost 3years of trying. Waiting to meet my angel very soon 👼🧿

You can cure pcos with balanced diet and exercise. Definitely taking these hormonal pills harm our system in longer term. I suddenly got pcos taking them just for 2yrs.. that was scary for me and was unable to conceive broke me as hell. So if you can consult a good dietitian and start working out, I’m sure you’ll see positive changes.
