As a female learning to take care of her big girl (loyal Excursion lover) on her own...thank you for recommending the penetrating fluid. I'm not as strong as a man and it helped me get the job done! Thank you...
Remember folks, if the gasket sealer is leaking out of the outside it is definitely leaking into the differential side. Most gasket sealers manufacturers recommend waiting 24 hours till completely cured. You do not want to mix the gasket sealer and oil together.👍🏽
Much appreciate your vids I just purchased a 2000 ford excursion 7.3l and I plan on doing all the fluid changes myself. What I’m wondering is where’s the best place to discard all your old fluids?

Welcome to the family! As a 6’2” 220lbs man I also use the penetrating fluid. 🤣🍻
Thank you for the video just got my excursion
We have an 01 Excursion V10. I'm pretty sure you should use 75w140

yeaaa no … i’m fairly sure it’s metric. Using standard sizes is a recipe for headache, rounded off bolts … Correct sizing is imperative
You might want to re-read your owners manual. Most Ford rear ends of that generation require 75w140 synthetic.
Really good video my man, much appreciated, can't wait to get mine...

Welcome to the 7.3 family
In the woods, or city drains
Autozone or some other auto shop. You could also use it as emergency fuel but I don’t recommend that
I have a 6.8, v10, will 85w-140 be ok for me?
What do you use to paint the covers and the oil pan too?
Are those your shocks?? What are they?
No they are his neighbors shocks. What kind of question is that?
Good video brother. Thanks
What is a good upgrade kit for 2wd
Is that an open diff?
