Since I've been pregnant, this has only gotten worse.
When she talks about dieting, I’m like OMG that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking for the past two months!!!!!!!! I started to work out and spend extra money and effort on my skin. As I kind of glowed up in the way I wanted, surprisingly I wasn’t content at all. I kind of felt like I did this because I didn’t want people to come to me and judge my weight and acne anymore. I thought getting prettier would make me happy but I was thinking this whole thing to myself and my friends were just like, they don’t get me and think I’m wasting my time. It’s amazing but I feel like finally some person out there on the internet understand me. Anyway I hope Ashely will have a good time in New York. She is definitely my favorite TH-camr.
Yes! last December I started a workout challenge, changed my diet, did all the "glow-up"... I lost like 4 kg, my belly started to get a bit more plain and even then I felt AWFUL. Just horrible about me, my anxiety went off the charts... when the holidays came around, I dropped it, gained the weight I had before and changed my exercise back to yoga (which main focus isn't losing weight), let my acne rest and I felt a lot better.
I was changing myself so others wouldn't judge me too, but I didn't think about what I wanted. I love this body the way it is, it's not perfect but it's healthy, and that's all I want

I started working out in the summer and lost a bunch of weight. My body look amazing and I should be happy but ever since I started working out, I’ve been picking apart my body everyday and my anxiety have been getting worse

I would literally do anything for you to publish like a blank bullet journal with your handwriting and style, it’s so aesthetically pleasing and I feel like I might actually be able to schedule my life out if I have a cute journal.
I first watched this video back in February and I could relate so well with that part where you talk about your relationship with food and I remember that I cried when you said "food is another part of life that you can enjoy" because for me that just wasn't true at the time. Now I'm watching this video again and I very much do think food is a great part of life and a way of showing myself self-love. That progress makes me so happy. Thank you so much, Ashley :3

I love ashley but talking about how we shouldn't care about what society tells us about dieting or that we should just accept the way we are when she's that skinny seems pretty hypocritical to me ngl
Lola Montez she is naturally slim yes, she has good genes yes, but she also has a sister who has had an eating disorder for years. She is also watched closely by 2 million people every week.
Just because she has a ‘perfect body’ doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to struggle with food and health. Of course she’s going to show us the good things and not the challenges or the tears or the self hate. She said that she’s only really now comfortable with her body but that she struggled a lot in the past and THATS OK. You can be past the worst of your struggles but still discuss them with others, especially when you have such an influential relationship. I know for me, she’s helping me not hate myself and my own eating struggles. I don’t have an eating disorder but I have a terrible relationship with food and hearing her occasional struggles and progress have really helped me.
Lola Montez I chose to see the good in people and what I have seen by following her channel for months/years is that she is genuine. Sure, some of it might be fabricated or lies to make her ‘more relatable’ but that doesn’t change the fact that when she does talk about these things, she does so in a way that helps people. What have you done to help people?
She might not be fat. She might have never been fat or overweight or too big to fit in her clothes, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t struggled. She’s admitting numerous times to counting calories and doing diets and restricting herself and that is a bad relationship with food. She’s not ever saying that she is fat because she isn’t, she’s just saying that she has a bad relationship with food and that she’s, trying to and succeeding in, getting better.
By ignoring that aspect, are you saying that people with anorexia or bullemia aren’t stuggling with food or “shouldn’t talk about having ‘issues’” because they are ‘skinny’?
Being slim isn’t the be all and end all! Being slim is NOT the ‘health goal’!
You can have eating problems, eating disorders or a negative relationship with food no matter your size!

I DEFINITELY relate to having to look nice for yourself. I take online college classes, and I’m home alone most of the time, just doing homework by myself, and I can start to feel like a lump sometimes. But if I wear something more put together I feel like an actual human. Today I’m wearing an outfit I like, I put on perfume, and I curled my lashes, and I feel so much better than I did yesterday.
one cool little detail to mention in holiday cards can be what's going on in your life! a little 'third year of college is going well!' or 'just picked a major, it's blah blah' can be something worth mentioning in holiday cards!

oH my good! ness! i've been with this channel supporting ashley even before she reached one million, genuinely, but w o w i really really love these vlog type videos and just hearing about ashley's life, she is so extremely well spoken, and just seems like she's such a good friend to others and in general is such a lovely person to be around. this isn't to say that i don't see this in any of her other videos, because oh my goodness, i most definitely do, but to get more of a real insight on her life and to see what and how she's doing on any random day just makes me feel so happy! it's so much better than other youtubers' "daily vlogs" where all they do is show us their shopping hauls and get mani pedis and things such as that, ashley is so productive and interesting and funny and real and just .... wow. seeing ashley being her genuine, passionate self every week makes me so happy and proud. i love u ashley and i hope all is going well in nyc, i hope u get ur air mattress soon :,,) sending much much love, always ☆彡
