@@JonE5FPV I'm coming into my 5th year in FPV, and its wild how much things have changed. I started the week the first DJI goggles were released. Same day as the Skyzone 03O's. I bought the skyzones. Lol Motor KV has been a big change. When I started it was low KV, and high pitch props. Now its High KV, with low pitch props. Tracks have got super technical. Gone are the days of 5 random gates in a field. I think its cool to see a change for the better so fast like that.
Nice Jon E5! Sick whoop haus! I love it but I'm not a fan of the built-in VTX. I love running the TBS Pro32 Nano but it does come at a weight penalty. Cheers
this is the print for the C03 camera www.printables.com/model/785959-betafpv-c03-ultralight-camera-mount-for-65mm-whoop this for the pinch cam www.thingiverse.com/thing:6423050 i used the paid version from tiny whoop though, the red is tpu, but its flexy, i ended up using the PP one they print for $2.25 (since i didnt want to buy a whole roll just for that). TPU works ok, i tried pla as well, but it was too stiff to fit the cam into.
I don’t know anything about drones really. I tend to be on the fringe of what a hobby is. I’m wondering what kind of out and return distance I could get with a whoop.
not super far, if you have clear line of sight, maybe 1-200meters, with special conditions, like no near wifi etc... maybe double that, but i dont like to push my ranges like some do. Its not a long range craft, but plenty fun for short range rips that wont disturb people.
yes, 100%. 75 can still be flown indoors, but you need considerably more skill. It isnt just larger, but the prop size goes from 31mm to 40mm, giving much more thrust and speed. 31mm prop size is just more nimble and controllable for most.
I will say... I love this drone. The tune is. Wow. I must say.. 65?? Ya. .. Wow ! I'm a newbie still. Lol. I think. An 8 month newbie.. and I've kinda stuck with betafpv just cuz I have extra parts. Few meteor65' s. A 75.. FC or 2 .. on both. Cams and vtxs lol lots of those.. damn it..😅 but I will say that is what is scary . Built-in vtx.. hmm .. that's what I seem to destroy alot. But. On that.. I did get 2 Air 65s. But. Because I blew a esc. And yes probably my fault. But I am happy to say it wasn't the vtx😊
100%, I loved my mob6, and mobeetle, and other variants, but i didnt include the 2024 version in my reviews this year because i just didnt feel like it had changed enough compared to the other releases this year.
Mine quit working the first day. I was really disappointed after waiting idk how many months to get one. Thankfully I was able to return it to AliExpress.
Nice I really want one . thank you for the inf.
no prob, let us know what you think if you end up getting one.
Fantastic review, Jon! Amazing flying!!! 😃
That's a heck of a fun little quad!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks so much MC! You stay safe sir!
For reference, my whoop last season weighed 17.9 grams. That I can buy one lighter out of the box, and make it even lighter still, is awesome!
wow, its crazy how much lighter /smaller things are getting. I remember 20g being so light i could barely imagine it, and now thats heavy.

I'm holding out for the first -17g whoop. So light you gotta keep it in a box to prevent it from flying away on its own
I think beatfpv soon will be releasing an air65 with a rx built into the aio. That will probably be arpund 16.8g
@@malnasimon7041 still 30g too heavy 🙃
lol, now thats weight savings

i hear ya, i really hope they can get the video perfect on these. Still sad about your whoop that got stepped on in the tiny whoop tent.
Meteora65 has been my favorite straight out of the box, and the price is awesome! When compared to other 65s that’s how much they want for the fc
it is pretty crazy priced. Not sure how they really making money on this
I have the 65 and the 75 and I can assure you the 65 absolutely rips. I can clear an entire football field and literally three seconds.
how is the 75? Considering getting or building one. I won an air75 frame in the Racegow raffle, and a bunch of 31 and 40mm props.
Have Chris Thomas check the power output on it. If he pulls out the hammer you know it’s over 😂
lol, a tiny hammer to smash a tiny quad.
in your racing custom build, where did u get that canopy model to print it?? Could you share the link?? Thx! Amazing video!!

This is actually a damn good deal.
So is it not possible to drop the camera angle to 0 for slower flying?
Many have said it's too high for them. Best fix is to make another hole in the front mount. Very easy.
yep, i think that sounds right to lower cam
is 65mm significantly easier to fly indoors when compared to 75?

I just want a good whoop that I can freestyle
this would be it for sure. So much power, with so little weight.
Awesome little whoop. For me it’s been way better than the mob6 2024.
