Hi Baitella. It would be great to do a side-by-side comparison of the different brands, but since we're not a distributor of Fisso products, we probably won't do that. I searched TH-cam for a link I could send you, but I noticed that you already found it.
I have 4 Noga bases. Fantastic. Worth every cent. Seriously thinking about a 99-001-131 to use on the surface plate. Figure, stick it on a no-hole 1-2-3 block to slide around.
That's a great idea, Felix. That way you can change the height of it by 1", just by mounting it to a different surface of the 1-2-3 block. Would you mind if I use your idea if we ever do a follow up video on 1-2-3 blocks? solutions.travers.com/metalworking-machining/measuring-inspection/how-to-use-1-2-3-blocks
Kurt, can you tell me what forces the best selling Noga arm and the Big Boy arm itself can handle? Not the magnet, but the arm. I'm considering using it in an application where it would have forces toward & against the arm itself. I know this is a bit of a loaded question depending on the position of the arm. I just want to know what it can handle if something is pushing or pulling on the arm. Thanks for any help!
Noga is the *ONLY* digital test indicator stand you want. I made the mistake of buying a Moore and Wright. The Noga is definately worth the extra 50% extra cost
I'm glad you're happy with them, Godfrey. I've been using indicators and stands for them for almost 40 years, so I have collected a variety of them over the years. The Nogas are my go-to stands. They just work!
Kurt, nice review. thanks. I hope to see next time a FISSO holder review, this is a real alternative to Noga.

Love these, but they're very awkward for large, long travel lug back indicators.

Wtf is a digital indicator stand
@@axa.axa. I think Godfrey means a stand that holds a digital indicator, but they do hold any kind of indicator.

@@axa.axa. - Pretty sure he means a stand for his digital indicator. LOL.☺
