This Wooden Cabinet was in desperate need of a transformation. It went from a water-marked, woodworm-infested sideboard to a useful and elegant liquor display cabinet. I jumped on TEMU to try out some of their products and see if they were actually useful in furniture makeovers - I was pleasantly surprised considering the seriously cheap prices!

Temu worries me. I'm worried that I might get scammed.
I've used it a few times to get holiday bits like tags for the suitcases, toothbrush holders, washbags etc. As long as you use Google pay, Apple pay PayPal etc they don't have your bank details. You obviously get what you pay for, it's like shopping in a pound shop and It's only a bargain if you need it.
Don't sign up for the offers on the adverts or give your phone number for extra discounts and you won't get bombarded with texts etc. You can always unsubscribe anyway.
I won't order clothing though as that does look a bit cheap. Try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised 🤷🏻♀️ even if a bit underwhelmed 😆
I’ve ordered every month for six months. It IS what you pay for. So if you just need something inexpensive it’s great. I’ve purchased several clothes and most are fine. A few were all polyester but they don’t list it on the site. They give refunds on items but don’t require you to send them back. It’s good for gadgets around the home too
I've looked at the clothes, but I'm a bit worried they'll be too small. I'm going to have another look and try. I'm on holiday next week so it's a bit late for that.
I've ordered so much now 🙈 and the only thing I've had to throw away (at only 57 uk Pence) was a tub of travel hand soap in paper form. Set like lumps of glue on your hands!!!

The craftmanship is perfect, but on this specific piece i wished for a little more ideas. The bottom part looks too empty, and i believe a custom made wine rack would have been nice. Also on the shelf it would have been nice some hanging glasses racks on the sides. Again, your work is spot on, but i feel this piece is missing some details
