Ma'am such a honest and truthful video! I've been vegan for 7 years and I feel happy and well, blood work has been excellent every year. Some tips I would give:
    1. Cronometer is a free nutrient tracking tool. I consistently tracked everything I ate for 1 year and know for a fact I meet all my body's daily needs. For example you can put 1/2 cup of red kidney beans, and it'll give you all the fats, amino acids / BCAAs, protein, vitamins, minerals, etc.
    2. For coffee and chai oat milk is best, it's creamy and goes best with hot beverages. For cold drinks / smoothies, almond milk and soy milk is best. For Protein / workouts, soy milk is best with around the same amount of protein per cup ~8g. Most of them tend to be fortified with mineral calcium so you should get ~300mg as well.
    3. For Icecreams, you freeze and food process ripe bananas with vanilla essence, a date if necessary, and optionally peanutbutter & dark chocolate and believe it or not, you'll get a delicious icecream. Vegan icecream is also often made from coconut cream / coconut condensed milk.
    4. For "cheesy" flavor, like parm, you can get nutritional yeast. It's a very healthy condiment (rich in B vitamins) made from inactive yeast that has a cheesy / nutty favor and aroma. It can be put in popcorn, sandwiches, or made into a vegan cheese with soaked and blended cashews (several recipes online).
    5. (If you are vegan supplementing B12 is a must.)
As a fun fact because I was obsessed with paleontology growing up... Rodent like mammals lived alongside dinosaurs dating back 225 million years ago. The dinosaur extinction event happened 65 million years ago killing 90% of all life, these same mammals went on to become every other mammal, primate, and eventually hominid we know. Not a single mammal specie in these 225 million years ever consumed milk through adulthood, least of all for 'calcium and protein'. It's completely against nature and unnecessary.
I weaned from my mom's milk at 2 years old, and after that she "dried up" / stopped lactating. For your own mother to start producing milk again, (in context to what is done in the dairy industry), semen from a random man will be forced into her cervix with a metal rod / pipette, to force a pregnancy (called artificial insemination), and then her milk is stolen, and the babies are often killed if male, and females are either raised to be re-exploited as dairy cows, or beef cows. After repeating this process many many times, the mother is eventually killed for beef. None of these cows today end up in sanctuaries where they live out their lives happily till old age - this is the myth we imagine to console ourselves. They're all killed. Dairy is the breeding ground and the conception of the beef industry. You can learn more about India's dairy sector from the documentary "Maa Ka Doodth" on TH-cam.
To add to this human breast milk has one of the lowest protein content 2.5g only / cup. Because human babies grow / develop so slowly. That's why we steal it from bovine mammals that require the protein to grow fast and large.

Thank you so much Sujatha. I have been contemplating on using milk, and looking for safe cow milk. There are few in Mumbai. Let me try and explore more. Even our crops, however organic they may be, are affected by underground water, pollution and lot of other things. Its quite depressing and confusing to decide what to consume. Thanks once again for the video 🙏🏾. It has triggered my quest again.

Even if we were told that dairy products are the best thing for our health, how can we torture another of God's beautiful creatures to improve our own health?!! I've been vegan for the last 3 years. I don't know if my body feels better, but my conscience definitely does!

🙏🙏🙏. In this respect,I feel even in agriculture, plants are put to great stress by adding pesticides and various chemicals to soil,to increase productivity, which is stressful for the plants😊. They are many a times grown only in water, through hydroponics, which is also stressful. Traditionally, food grown used to be organic, without stressing the plants.
