Taemin certainly has a lot to offer as a singer, dancer, performer he is versatile and what captivates me he sets his own limits. Recently fb was constantly sending videos of MJ growing and evolving and you know what I definitely see this growth and development in Taemin his technique and style is so unique that you are able to recognize it among others in a few seconds, it's almost unbelievable.

In Taemin's "Rise" performance, I interpret the dancer to be Taemin's inner self, and the dancer is portraying Taemin's inner feelings and emotions. Fun fact: The dancer is a fairly well known young Japanese dancer and choreographer named Santa Uno who has been a professional dancer since he was a teenager and is considered the No. 1 street dancer in the world, winning the top spot at one of the most prestigious international street dance competitions when he was a teenager. Most dancers consider Santa an expert in almost all styles of dance and he is highly respected in the dance community. In 2020 Santa participated in a Chinese idol trainee competition program and he became a member of the China-based international boy group INTO1.

The song is about Greek mythological character Icarus actually really beautiful lyrics and theme. Taemin wanted to really focus on his vocals this time because he had choreo for this song on his previous concerts.

The shadow-dancer you asked about is Santa. Recently he realized his dream of becoming an idol himself ( th-cam.com/video/rkuGCW8_B0Q/w-d-xo.html ). He and Taemin are good friends. When working together, Santa is usually close to Taemin on his left side, but he also moves around quite a bit. There are several differences between the two that make each of them unique and excellent at what they do. Santa started teaching himself street dancing at 3 (Taemin was 9/10 when he started teaching himself). Unlike Taemin, Santa incorporates quite a bit of gymnastic-type moves into his dancing, as well as gravity defying illusions like here: th-cam.com/video/GlTRfEyCsPU/w-d-xo.html . This is another example of one of his signature moves at 3:21 using more gymnastics: th-cam.com/video/FirXSqpBz3c/w-d-xo.html . Taemin, on the other hand, is a master at popping/locking & isolations. I'm sure Santa is excellent at these disciplines as well, but he doesn't seem to use them as much. Both are very fluid dancers and not limited by learning through specific, formal dance training. Taemin especially has taken parts of dance genres and cobbled them together produce beautiful work, transforming his choreos into his own unique style.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Love this song. Have never seen a live though, so this was cool. He slayed. Wow. What an amazing performance. So much feels. I feel like its a mental health song. Adore songs with feels. For some reason my old BTS playlist loved playing Taemin's Heaven, 0.0. Like i don't have my lists on shuffle. But when the playlist is done Spotify takes control. And it keeps playing this song often. And i usually am in the shower too. Gah. Lol. Recently i was able to catch taemin live twice on Insta. He goes often to chat with fans. He practices his Eng its so cute. He sings to us a little. He is so precious. I love seeing him smile. And yes the shape of his lips face is beautiful. =0p Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
