I have an Olympus LS-P4 that I use the master series sound professionals mics with. They sound so good when you use them traveling. They really shine on planes. You hear every ding and announcement as if you're back on that aircraft. They don't sound as good as the built-in mics of the lS-P4, but that is to be expected. They do sound realistic.

I've heard a few bynoral podcasts. It's so cool. Only thing is that I guess since the mics are so little they don't for me at least have that studio feel to them. That big studio sound of a Rode NT1-A. or NT2-A to be more consistant cause bynorals are omni. Do bynoral mics have to be little ear bud mics? can't they be made regular on ear headphone sized for that big studio boom and boddy? Just curious. Because I do find the idea curious just never got a pair cause of that studio sound lacking. Well for me at least.

Do they work with an iPhone ?

You need an interface to use these with an iPhone. The headset input jack on the iPhone is mono only, which would eliminate the binaural effect. You can find such an adapter here: www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-iOS-MIC-ADAPTER. There may be 3rd party options as well. Make sure whichever interface you choose has a powered stereo microphone input.
