He never shoots from the hip or anything. EVery gun right up against his nose like he needs the sight. Even when he was moving as fast as possible in the club part. Awesome movie though. Haven't seen John Wick 2 yet.
I see where you're coming from but at what point does novelty methods of style define a good standard of action genre? The reason I enjoyed the film was due to it's accuracy. The amount of training and efficiency behind that film just allowed the viewer to enjoy the narrative and the scenes without being open to blatant criticism like a backflip off an exploding car whilst holding two machine guns and shooting every bad guy in the process of doing so. Then again, Patrice was critiquing Keanu's acting as opposed to the films themselves but I enjoy his style, its very solitary and reserved with the rare flair of exuberance in small doses.
+CardiganSnoopy, Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, I loved it. Just something that could've added a bit more to the action. I think even a masterpiece like Die Hard would lose a bit of 'umph' with people if he never shot from the hip and was calculated like a properly trained SWAT member. Believe me that didn't ruin anything for me. I can look past a ton of minor things. Just my thoughts.
Oh definitely, when we're talking about Die Hard, it's arguably one of the best action movies of all time! I was thinking of referring to it but with 25 years between the two titles, it'd be difficult for me to make a justified comparison between the two. Willis' cool guy persona mixed with McClane's witty remarks and Kamen's exciting action score just made that film amazing for me.

A Time to Kill was great, but I didn't look up when it came out.
Keanu is the shit, though. John Wick is sick. It's on demand right now. Watch John Wick right now
Stuart Otis it's funny Reeves gets so much shitt for being awful but half the time he's great even though most his movies r bad, but he's FARRRR better more often then Sam Jackson and most the famous black male actors like Jamie Foxx who's a horrible actor lol but must be nice to be black male actor where mediocrity gets you famous and noone is ever honest bout how bad you are lol but poor white male actors who are good three fourths the time get slaughtered crucified and everybody Easts you're awful even though you're good three quarters of the time lol
Heather Robertson jamie foxx is a horrible actor? Your paragraph lost all credibility lol
Robert W if u think Jamie Foxx is a great actor u don't know WTF a great actor is lol from in living color to playing steamin Willie beaman to playing homeless musician or ray, Foxx is mediocre at BEST and is far cry from great actor lol so don't be silly you jackass
How am i being a jackass? If he wasn't a great actor/performer i don't think he'd be making as much money as he did/does doing major roles lol.
If you can act better and youre making just as much money as he is, then ill take your word for it.
Heather Robertson by the way, you just proved me right. You clearly said" he went from in living color to Ray ( playing a musical genius)." Talk about from the bottom to the top lol. If he was a bad actor he'd probably be still doing comedy somewhere unknown.
You might as well say jim carey, eddie murphy, and etc is a horrible actors
FYI the woman in Blindness and I Am Legend they're talking about is Alice Braga. She's a Brazilian actress though for some reason she's always playing Mexican characters. She was in Predator 3 and Elysium and is actually pretty good usually.
Stop pro-noun-cing every si-ingle syll-able....dum-bee. lmmfao!!!
And he didn't even get the film title right, it's not "Schenectady, New York" it's "Synecdoche, New York".
He also suggested it was shit but it's been listed among the greatest films of the 21st Century.
Fucking Vos.
@@RenewedRS Critics are known for promoting bs nobody likes and gaslighting poeple into liking it.
these are freat and put together so awesome keep it up dude
Keanu reeves is good come one Patrice o Neal passed away before John wick so wish he was still here
+Charlie Bronson agreed I typed it drunk. I have my BA Degree & I should try harder.
street kings was great
His acting is wooden, let's not sugar coat it, but he was lucky to be part of freta movies that you overlook his acting.
that Rich Vos bit though... he reminds me of that WWE promo wrestler who tripped over while going through the wall - that is basically Rich whenever he opens his mouth in this company
I fucking wish Patrice could’ve seen Django Unchained man. God damn it, rip the 🐐.
I think Patrice would've enjoyed seeing seeing Keanu in "John Wick", given his love of action movies and animals.
Jim Norton calling Eugene Levvy stupid is like Opie calling Ant unfunny and useless
Make more of these please 🙏🏿
Jackie Brown was a really good movie
Great work kemosabe
The Negotiator, Black Snake Moan and A Time To Kill are my favorite Sam movies.
Keanu was decent in Devil's Advocate I'll give him that
I wouldn't expect a man named Patrice to appreciate the John Wick trilogy. Those movies don't work without Keanu's dedication to that role and his performance.
Yeah they do. If old ass Keanu can go through training any actor in the valley could do the same mass shooter-lite boot camp Reaves did. That aint special.
I wish Patrice was around to talk about John Wick
I actually want to see that Blindness movie now ! ....
Blafard666 DONT BOTHER, I JUST DID AND U WOULD BE WASTING YOUR TIME.
I absolutely love the movie "Blindness". I've seen it 3-4 times. I always say if I ever has the talent and ability to complete what I started, Blindess would be exactly the kind of indie sci-fi SHTF movie I wish I could write.
It surprised me when they mentioned Blindness. I think it's alright. I'd give it a solid 7.5 out of 10
