      He has the same views I do. The Marvel movies are incredibly popular but they are basically action/comedy movies and to me are just super corny where every other line is a joke. Especially Iron Man 3 and Avengers 2

    there's enough great O&A/Patrice bits that if you space them out sparingly, you can be entertained for years. I listened to all these back when they aired live, but it's been enough time now that I forgot most of the best parts. One can only imagine how much more content there would have been if Patrice had lived at least until the end of O&A.

  • @TDNomad
    @TDNomad 7 ปีที่แล้ว +35

    This topic is prime example of how Opie adds nothing to a typical kind of conversation. Especially when Opie says Iron Man was dark, yet he couldn't back it up. Why do YOU think it was dark? It's an option based topic/discussion & he can't add shit to it or what he did add he couldn't try & get his point/opinion across. He's just a sheep.

    • @HOMI3INK
      @HOMI3INK 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      TDNomad I completely agree. I find Opie to just be a waste of space. There are so many anti Opie comments which Are very valid, but then there are the 1s that say Opie does so much more behide the scenes. Ok good for him. He should of only stayed behind the scenes then.

    • @TDNomad
      @TDNomad 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      HomieINK
      Yeah I've seen a good amount comments all around YT about how Opie isn't bad & we hate on Opie just because. No, I hate Opie for WHAT he DOES & SAYS!.
      There is 1 was O&A w/ Patrice & other guest(s) episode that didn't have Opie in it & the topics of discussion were so good. Ant, Pat, & the other guest(s) had such great opinions & fed off each other so well. With Opie in studios he gives zero effort in his opinion. That is so bothered some to have a good/great topic going & he gives no shits. Or he switches gears to get out of the topic.

    • @HOMI3INK
      @HOMI3INK 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      TDNomad I've been recently listening to O/A with Patrice & Opies whole personna is awful.
      I was listening to an episode last night were Ant & maybe another comedian tried to carry a conversation with a phone in guest. Opie didn't really care to talk to the guest (if that's the case why was the guest booked) & Opie was playing sound clips from a movie or person that was saying "you're a whore. Hang the phone up you skank." Regardless of it being funny such a waste of time to have Ant (who wasn't setup the Opie bit) to try & have a discussion with the guest to only have Opie shit on it in a way that he thinks is cute/funny. That's Opie humor. Be obnoxious.

    • @TDNomad
      @TDNomad 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      HomieINK
      There's the topic with those cheerleader football league & towards the end of the interview Opie plays dumb with what the cheerleader has to say & acts like a fool cause he thinks it's funny. “The I don't care for that type” Opie vibe is sick.

    • @TDNomad
      @TDNomad 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      HomieINK
      He's a sheep. He agrees with others only cause he can't make an opinion of his own. The guy is pure shit. Have you just tried to listen to O&A w/o any special guest in the studio? Man it's brutal.

    Watching all these is like a forensic study about how lame Opie always was. He can’t let a bit breathe. He’s in the room with great comedians and he has to be everyone’s Mom.
    He lives in a mansion because Anthony was that great.

    I never understood that about Water World, it was like the biggest joke of its time, and I was like...am I the only one that fucking loved this damn thing?

      It made 264 million dollars. The only people who hated Waterworld were critics. The people enjoyed it enough to make it a financial success. Now imagine if they didn't have so many issues with the Atoll set and it probably makes even more money.

    the thing with Waterworld was that it was the most expensive made at the time so it didn't live up to the hype of that...IMO

    Opie doesn't get it most of the time, or he resented Jim and Ant`s chemistry. It's very obvious.
