A co-worker has a very interesting hobby,you may want to try it if you are a camera bug.

I'm sorry to hear about your food and your fridge. I had a fridge with a bottom freezer loser power. The entire drawer of food thawed and flooded the floor. We had to replace the flooring.

Oh I know the fridge thing…what a way to come home! We r still dealing with the issue but they were able to band-aide it so to speak while waiting for a part.
I’m always shocked when delicate little pieces survive being stored like this.

that;s a great question, my guess is that it was just the more popular finish when a lot of the Bespaq was made..in a lot of the vintage furniture like Shackman, Reevesline, Strombecker, they were using tons of dark walnut which was the popular finish at that time.
