When I feel stressed I search for Guillermo's interviews... I love them... he talks so much about life, his view on life and the interconnection with art... his love for beauty in the ugly...all of it... I don't know what it is but it calms me down.... it could also be his voice very soothing
0:40 "I think it's always good to start with Totoro, because the power of Miyazaki is that he shows you something that is impossibly beautiful and painfully beautiful. This is something that very few filmmakers do. When something is so absolutely staggeringly beautiful as a piece of art, you understand that you will never experience it in real life, and you gain it and lose it at the same time. You get a sense of melancholy."
this guy makes stuff so gravitic, i only found out about his physicality in death stranding but pacific rim and silent hill PT, never knew until now. i really hope he's allowed to do something as dreamy as silent hill PT with kojima again, even if its just a movie or animation, but wow PT was just an experience. glad to hear he enjoyed working on pacific rim.

I'd love to see that 3-part mini series version of Del Toro's Nightmare Ally. Also, a similar treatment to 1492: Conquest of Paradise, that Ridley Scott had mentioned wanting to put out, too. Baz Luhrmann's Australia... not so much. But I really liked the longer Netflix episodic cut of Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.

I love this man.
"Sorry I missed your graduation, son, but daddy's gotta make giant robots and monsters fight."
Pacific rim is a masterpiece, doesn’t require a sequel nor a prequel
disagree on prequel

I love Guillermo so much. Easily my favorite film director. Frankenstein is going to be a masterpiece.

This man is an international treasure
Every time I listen to Guillermo talk, I learn so much about filmmaking.
I really liked that movie
Pacific Rim is the greatest movie I've ever seen in a cinema.
How is this masterpiece already 10 years old? GDT literally watched Transformers and said, “Hold my beer.”
Raleigh & Mako Forever
This was such a great Q&A that I wish it was longer, I could listen to Guillermo talk about movies and Pacific Rim all day!😄
Fantastic director.
Guillermo is just so thoughtful and strategic in the movies he creates.
Happy birthday Guillermo! One of my favorite directors!
This was a well-spent hour. Wish it was 2 hours.
Arguably one of the greatest 3D conversions of all time. Thank you to del toro for this amazing movie

Guillermo and the guy who did the drawings for metal gear, would be great, I hope he does any project with Kojima.
I love him❤❤❤

The fact that they let JJ Abrams and Johnson do a Star Wars film before this man is one of the greatest stupidities of the universe.
It's a shame he didn't direct a sequel
