I think a neat challenge would be to improve your house each time you remove a challenge, but in such a way that it makes sense. For example for dog hangout: build a fence, for foxes,: have a bin shed, vampire nexus: put up garlic, mould: get a better roof with no holes etc.

the problem with this one is, I don't know if it's even posible. Because all the spirits count Temperance or the mean ghost. And I'm not sure is she can become a friend or not
@@SytryltYou can befriend Temperance but like Greg she is programmed to reject most interactions and perform mean interactions that make befriending her difficult. Sims also get a trait that makes them scared when she's around.

There's only 17 things you can "remove" with the goals. I say add 7 more items to the wheel. Maybe plus Simoleons like 1, 5, 10, 100, 500, 1K, 5K for example. That way, you have to do all of the challenges.

for an extra challenge you could vote in one of the more annoying neighbourhood action plans, like the ones where you get fined if you don't comply, or the one where they take your stuff. and you can make a lot of money from befriending the specters and also actually become a celebrity from selling the stuff they give you, so you could then fight the paparazzi.
As a companion to the grilled cheese aspiration, when giving gifts to spectres you should always give them either grilled cheese, or something you found in the prairie grass

Mine too. I've rewatched it a bunch. As long as he doesn't do the Strangerville Mystery again, I'm excited! I wish he hadn't gotten rid of Simple Living so quickly. It's so much funnier when the first ones he checks off are the ones that don't bother him like Wild Foxes or Filthy.
Love to see the series back! There are more challenges to remove than challenges to do, though so, here's a few ideas... - have a work rivalry - get the blessing of the sun (JA) complete the werewolf relic collection -collect the skulls from the day of the dead - reach charisma level 10 without using the mirror -. attend the turtle hatching in Sulani - get hit by Crumplebottom's purse - win a vegetable contest at the fair - gift a death flower floral arrangement - wear the forbidden sweater (NK) - reach the top of mount komorebi/woohoo in the cave
Unpopular opinion, I'm more invested in this new challenge that the current gameplay, the new expansion pack is so buggy!! I'm glad that James keeps coming with fun content though
An extra challenge could be accepting every like/ dislike and new trait that pops up. So Semaj would have to dislike handiness and be paranoid on top of everything else
I wish cracks and scuffs cost negative money in build/buy mode. Like, it should cost you money to get rid of them, and adding them decreases your house value
I think it's better next time to repair and clean everything with magic since you need to get cursed anyway. It's also will be much easier for you to deal with all this mess :D
He also needs to get his handiness skill to level 10, so I think repairing stuff by hand would be a quick way of doing that, especially if he's repairing 4-5 appliances every day for the foreseeable future. But I agree- repairing and cleaning with magic would make things MUCH easier 🙂

I think something you should add to the list is get hit by Agnes Crumplebottom's purse 😂 not difficult but you'd have to go out of your way to do it and it's always dramatic when it happens. Storytime: My sim was in a nightclub hitting on Mortimer and got "Crumplebottomed" and then the entire nightclub's population ended up mysteriously knocked out on the floor just a few minutes later. Everyone except Agnes Crumplebottom. Iconic.
To get rid of the haunted residential trait you could marry bonehilda. This was a great start to this mini series and it’s nice to see James enjoying himself a lot more hopefully the sims team cracks on with fixing bugs. Hope everything all good James and new puppy doing well
Love this challange! I think getting full medium skill and becoming a paranormal investigater sounds like a good goal for getting rid of the haunted house trait. Maybe also getting the “brave” trade from the reward store?
The first time you played this was one of my early introductions to Sims TH-cam and by far my favorite Sims series ever. So chaotic, we love to see it.

The original series of this is one of my favorites of yours. I just started rewatching it again last night and now here you are with a new one! I agree the first half was slow but it got so much better as it continued. I'm shocked that you were able to cook all those grilled cheese sandwiches without the stove catching on fire from the Cursed trait. That was such a problem in the first series. Can't wait to see the next episode of this. So much better than the For Rent series (not because of you but because of the stupid bugs). If you want high value items and a cow plant berry, you should fish off the dock in Magnolia Promenade. High probability of cow plant berries, dragonfruit and voodoo dolls in a short time fishing.
Maybe you could turn bust the dust on as a challenge. Also, I think the hand item in buy mode for paranormal stuff gives you the ability to choose the difficulty of the haunting, maybe you could go from super haunted to less haunted before getting rid of it. Also, you could add the challenge of having to agree to every phone call as a challenge. So Bess calls up, there goes all your money lol
The prairie grass was my savior during this challenge, I found a finely aged nectar bottle and sold it for 34k. The first thing I did was buy the most expensive bed 😂

I am SO excited for this!! I absolutely loved the last Every Lot Challenge and I think the 24 Years Challenge seems pretty fun to combine it with. Quick reminder that Semaj will need level 10 Handiness to get to the Grotto, so we probably shouldn't let the neighbors repair everything all the time but I get with the house becoming literally toxic why you did this time
I would take out the harder challenges from the wheel and apply those to specific harder tasks on the checklist - like say you can remove the haunted house lot trait when you made ambrosia or when you got that specific spellcaster curse removed. Just to make it harder and more fun of course :)

And maybe remove the haunted house after completing 50% of the challenges, or paying a certain amount of money to remove it?
The original series of this is one of my favorites of yours. I just started rewatching it again last night and now here you are with a new one! I agree the first half was slow but it got so much better as it continued. I'm shocked that you were able to cook all those grilled cheese sandwiches without the stove catching on fire from the Cursed trait. That was such a problem in the first series. Can't wait to see the next episode of this. So much better than the For Rent series (not because of you but because of the stupid bugs). If you want high value items and a cow plant berry, you should fish off the dock in Magnolia Promenade. High probability of cow plant berries, dragonfruit and voodoo dolls in a short time fishing.

Maybe you could turn bust the dust on as a challenge. Also, I think the hand item in buy mode for paranormal stuff gives you the ability to choose the difficulty of the haunting, maybe you could go from super haunted to less haunted before getting rid of it. Also, you could add the challenge of having to agree to every phone call as a challenge. So Bess calls up, there goes all your money lol
To get rid of Vampire Nexus, Semaj should have to become a vampire! That will also take care of the "transform into an occult" goal

Also, not sure if you want to go down the job route, but if you're in the scientist career, at least you'll have access to a rocket ship to work on from there rather than saving up to buy one? Iirc, you can also go to Sixam through the portal from that same career? 🤔

Quick reminder that Semaj will need level 10 Handiness to get to the Grotto, so we probably shouldn't let the neighbors repair everything all the time but I get with the house becoming literally toxic why you did this time

Different wheels based on tiers of difficulty of each task? So you have to accomplish something big to get rid of "bigger" negative traits?
I would take out the harder challenges from the wheel and apply those to specific harder tasks on the checklist - like say you can remove the haunted house lot trait when you made ambrosia or when you got that specific spellcaster curse removed. Just to make it harder and more fun of course :)

It’s good to see you enjoy playing, I know on camera you laughed off the bugs but I can’t imagine how frustrating it was off camera…Personally as a viewer it was funny at first but then it gets frustrating to see how much EA has botched our beloved Sims franchise
