You can live in the vacation worlds with a haunted house without mods. You have to move them in directly from cas, and you can’t click out of the box asking about furnishings or you’ll have to start over. It will look like it’s failed at first, since after you accept it will still be on the moving worlds screen, but just click the x at the top moving textbox, and go play your new household! From what I’ve noticed, the haunted house mechanics don’t happen except for the fear of being at a haunted house that your sim gets, but just in case, I’ve been having my sim explore the jungle at night. Also, the vine barriers and the temple reload every time you save, so be careful exploring and keep testing cheats on to tp you out if you are out of bounds underground when the layout changes 😅. Oh and the property taxes in the jungle world seem really high or something.
Side note : «Fledermaus» is «bat» in German. As a vampire, you should look around Vlad's backyard. You can find some plasma fruit trees. Plant them and harvest the plasma fruits. Eating them will help with your thirst. Have as many plasma trees as you like. Those emotion berries will give you some emotions when eaten. You can also plant them and get more emotion berries.
Aw... this autoplayed from Simsie's latest video and I didn't figure out that it was an older video until he started taking photos.. I miss photos of friendship!

I think adding another sim to the household like you did in flower arranging would have been good. When you build a site, multiple sims can dig up the stuff. Plus one could be selling while the other authenticates.
I don't know why this made me think of this, but ever since watching James, I always say Katrina like "KATRINA!" when I see her when I'm playing. Makes me think of him every time lol
I've been having a rough day,, but hearing 'Vlady Daddy' made me so happy. I'm so glad it was at the beginning of the video too, because I was able to enjoy the whole thing.
I’m really enjoying this series, especially when James uses occults. I wonder if there are advantages to being an alien or mermaid for these challenges
Even though you stopped with the archeology stuff at the end, this was still a hilarious video. I loved how you'd start a yard sale then feed on your customers. ROFL!
I think the huge friendship gain from photography is from the Mosquito pack. I don't have Mosquito and I can take photos of sims but they don't pose for me, and it doesn't cause significant friendship gain.
If he'd had married in the end, I coulda made a "gold digger" joke :D But hey, Vlad is a relic in himself, so no (self imposed) rules broken to that point X)
I was the one who suggested Archeology. Thank you for attempting it, James. I didn't think it would be quick, but actually thought it would pay off. Now I know it needs to be balanced with other things for a Sim to get rich (sch as a garden at home every time the Sim goes back to store/ authenticate artifacts). It's fun for me, but not everyone likes a long play, lol.
Love these challenge videos! I would have planted plasma fruit which would have grown fast on the tiny lot, and then taken that with me into the jungle so I didn't have to leave to find Sims to drink from. I also would have just skipped the dig sites and raided the temples over and over to sell the big ticket items on the table. I know you didn't want to do the witchcraft path again, but imagine Copypasto with those big ticket items. Once you had that spell, one trip to collect a bunch of frogs and plates, copy them over and over and one million would have been easy. I'd love to see you plant oversized watermelons and lettuce only, can them (canning them only takes seconds because you only have to chop, no cooking involved and each large one produces 12 jars worth $100-$200). Also, for any of your rags to riches scenarios, you can buy small ones at the market stand for five bucks, can them quickly and sell the jars to make a couple hundred. Much faster than gardening or fishing to get started. You can also sell them on the selling table at 300% markup and make even more money quickly.
The Selvadorada route works well when you're doing the No Skills, No Problem route, as you can go through the temples and dig for artefacts and get decent payback without any skills. Yeah it takes a lot of tedious work but it *does* make it go faster.
Suggestion 1: Have Semaj do these skills: Maybe put the categories on wheel and spin the wheel. The one he lands on, is the one that he has to do for that video, and is then removed from the wheel once it's been used. or Start with 1h and work your way up the list or start with 1a and work your way down the list. All of these skills listed have a page on Carl's Sims. 1a. Music: guitar, piano, violin, singing, writings songs, and Mix Tapes from the DJ Booth. Maybe pair this with 1 or 2 part time jobs or the Entertainer career (Musician Branch) 1b. Food: Baking and Mixology. The pages for each skill on Carl's Sims will tell you the retail value for each item. Maybe pair this up with the part-time jobs: Barista and/or Fast Food Employee or a full time job: Critic (Food Critic Branch) or Culinary (Mixologist Branch) 1c. Residual Income: writings songs, writing books, Media Production, Programming, and Mix Tapes from the DJ Booth. Maybe pair this up with full time job Writer career (author branch), the freelancer Writer Branch or the freelancer Programmer Branch. 1d. PC, Videos and Gaming: Programming, Media Production and videos games. The page for the video gaming skill on Carl's Sims will tell you how much money Semaj can make in video game tournaments. Maybe pair this up with the freelancer Programmer Branch or 1 of the full time jobs: Tech Guru (eSport Gamer Branch), Engineer (Computer Engineer Branch), or Social Media (Internet Personality Branch) 1e. Wellness: massage table, yoga classes, and meditation classes. The stone massage would make him 300 simoleons per massage. Maybe pair this up with the full time job Athlete. 1f. Outdoors (no gardening): Fishing, Diving in the water, combs the beaches, Snowboarding Videos, teaching skiing, frog breeding and TS4 Career Conservationist or 1 or 2 part time jobs: Manual Laborer, Diver, Fisherman, Lifeguard. Maybe Semaj could be a mermaid and live in Sulani or Tartosa. 1g. Comedy and Odd Jobs: Comedy with the microphone, Entertainer career (Comedian Branch), and Odd Jobs. 1h. Gardening with a twist: Full time job in the Gardener career, growing one of everything in the game that you can grow (since growing one of everything in the entire game is too much, then use your random pack generator to limit the amount to one of everything in those 3, 4 or 5 packs), and collecting and selling microscope samples. Maybe Semaj could be a PlantSim. Suggestion 2: Have household of more than one Semaj: Plantsim Semaj, Mermaid Semaj, Spellcaster Semaj, Vampire Semaj, Alien Semaj and Human Semaj Use each Semaj's strengths to your advantage to make money. Here are some examples: Plantsim Semaj - goes around collecting produce and flowers as well as frogs for breeding. The produce, minus the garlic which gets sold, goes to the versions of Semaj's that need to eat food. This way you don't need a indoor kitchen. Mermaid Semaj - dives in the water for treasure, combs the beaches, and does fishing. Maybe keep some of the fish like salmon, trout, Bass, Mahi Mahi, perch, walleye, Tilapia and maybe tuna, while you sell the rest. If you get a grill then the sims that need to eat can grill the fish. Use the refrigerated displays, so you have a fridge that never breaks for the fish meals. Spellcaster Semaj - have him learn the repair and copypasto spells. Maybe have him do photography, yoga and Meditation classes and the massage table, or write books and make videos, when his skills are not needed. Vampire Semaj - maybe works two part time jobs, Barista and babysitter, and at night, handles the selling table. Alien Semaj - Maybe he can write books and make videos or do photography, yoga and Meditation classes and the massage table, when his skills are not needed. I don't know if this sim would make more money doing his videos in alien form. Human Semaj - Have him get a job. Maybe randomly pick 7 jobs from the TS4 jobs list on the Sims Wiki and use a wheel or number generator to pick which one he gets. Maybe his goal is to get to the top of that career. Have these sims live in tiny home that contains a bathroom, Cabin-in-a-bag tent since it's fits four sims, and refrigerated displays. All indoors, with a very small amount of windows, while the outside has a grill. Maybe live in Sulani or Tartosa. The fish and produce would make it like the Semajs are living off the land and not spending any money making food except for the grill. Maybe even have the lot set to geothermal and natural well to lower the bills. Vampire Semaj would sleep during the day, when he's not working his 2 jobs or managing the selling table.

I personally prefer Vampires Super Speed, not only does it look cool. Its actually a bit faster not having your sim take time to do animation to poofing in and out of the bat form, sometimes instead of literally moving 2 squares. Nice thing about going on vacation there is that you can get your Gardening Skill very high by dealing with those vine-overgrown doors, so no need to wait for it to up to a useful level by doing low grade stuff.

Extracting the fossils is almost always worth doing. Sometimes you get a broken one and loose money but all the other fossils are worth more than limestone so on average you gain money from extracting the fossils. You will make extra money from fossils if you have the curator bonus trait (from the outdoor aspirations) and/or are a geek. Digging for collectibles satisfies the geek video game need so you won't even get tense from lack of video games if you spend all day collecting.
the weird looking mask that is cheaper is a fake, while the other one is the genuine artifact. the pop up messages say so when you uncover and authenticate them. You need high logic skill, then you analise triger thingy and when you click you get simbols that let you know wich is the corect triger

They need to add better rewards on scenarios , it’s quite underwhelming
I love this series so much. It’s perfect for James
James' Sim is cheeked up. Holy frig.
The decoration box, gardening, busking with an instrument
this was actually so fun to watch, i appreciate your tenacity when it comes to these challenges :')
I admire your dedication, James. Keep the challenges coming.
I like that You make it a bit harder for yourself by not having the Collector trait and being a vampire in a sunny place! 😄
I want to see Semaj with 7 Pets who he can send of to find treasure! xD
He would get there easy with feathers!
Being an actor and TH-camr at the same time, being an actor is a career and the media production table are separate so you can do both
Just another day that James and Deli helped with my anxiety. Love u guys❤️
Even though you stopped with the archeology stuff at the end, this was still a hilarious video. I loved how you'd start a yard sale then feed on your customers. ROFL!
I think the huge friendship gain from photography is from the Mosquito pack. I don't have Mosquito and I can take photos of sims but they don't pose for me, and it doesn't cause significant friendship gain.
you can still choose "take photo with...", which is in the base game and also provides a massive friendship gain
@@M3RDR Yeah, I don't have Moschino and I still get the boost. It's something that has been happening since the game came out with base game.
the polite (toddler) character value is fantastic. you introduce yourself "politely" and wow.
Wait did Vlad SERIOUSLY message Semaj saying “I cant believe you are drinking plasma ,that’s just not right!”?!
You can also sell them on the selling table at 300% markup and make even more money quickly.
by far my most favourite jumper youve worn. Love it
I absolutely love all of the different ways you've done this scenario!
The Selvadorada route works well when you're doing the No Skills, No Problem route, as you can go through the temples and dig for artefacts and get decent payback without any skills. Yeah it takes a lot of tedious work but it *does* make it go faster.
A quick way is become a master spellcaster, start archaeology and find the golden plates/frogs then just duplicato them into being a billionaire.
Suggestion 1:
Have Semaj do these skills:
Maybe put the categories on wheel and spin the wheel. The one he lands on, is the one that he has to do for that video, and is then removed from the wheel once it's been used.
or
Start with 1h and work your way up the list or start with 1a and work your way down the list.
All of these skills listed have a page on Carl's Sims.
1a. Music: guitar, piano, violin, singing, writings songs, and Mix Tapes from the DJ Booth. Maybe pair this with 1 or 2 part time jobs or the Entertainer career (Musician Branch)
1b. Food: Baking and Mixology. The pages for each skill on Carl's Sims will tell you the retail value for each item. Maybe pair this up with the part-time jobs: Barista and/or Fast Food Employee or a full time job: Critic (Food Critic Branch) or Culinary (Mixologist Branch)
Maybe pair this up with the freelancer Programmer Branch or 1 of the full time jobs: Tech Guru (eSport Gamer Branch), Engineer (Computer Engineer Branch), or Social Media (Internet Personality Branch)
Suggestion 2:
Have household of more than one Semaj: Plantsim Semaj, Mermaid Semaj, Spellcaster Semaj, Vampire Semaj, Alien Semaj and Human Semaj
Use each Semaj's strengths to your advantage to make money. Here are some examples:
Plantsim Semaj - goes around collecting produce and flowers as well as frogs for breeding.
I didn't know that "taking pictures" allows you to quickly build relationships, thank you for this tip:)
They recently "fixed" this bug and now you can't. 😭
@@zybeel Yes, unfortunately, I know this, I saw this TH-camr's video about it, this was not a crucial feature for me but it was nice to have it. I guess maybe it was removed because Friendly aspirations are easier to complete... However this "update" made me disappointed😞
i am really enjoying this 1M challenge series ❤
I favor fighting Vlad, you actually get a larger power boost from him, and he's pretty weak.
Make $1 million, only using CATS AND DOGS expansion pack! Gather feathers, assemble bird statues, find presents on walks, open a vet clinic... or any other way you can!!
I literally binge-watched James' 1m challenges last night and was thinking of archaeology. He read my mind!!
Edit: I just watched everything and it's amazing. Perfect ending lmao
It's much more profitable to open the fossils and then sell them. The time capsules are the ones that are better to sell without opening.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!
The combination of Vampire and archaeology was a really fun combo :)
Bicycles: exist
James: …anyway let’s become a vampire
James I look forward to your videos so much I check TH-cam everyday lmao!!! You make me laugh so much.
Love your game play James, and the teddy jumper is great. x
“I think Nancy is dead to be honest.” LOL
It's another weird quirk of the Sims economy that they pay you thousands to authenticate artifacts that are worth mere 100s.
😂 I thought you were being ambitious when I saw the title!
You can try getting rich with clubs! Like letting them paint, garden, and selling the stuff they make 😇
LOL personal space. Ahh that's so funny. Love this video.
I think that if you made a spellcaster it would be better, bc you wouldn't have to worry about the sun and feeding. So I think that perhaps that would have bought you some extra time if you didn't picked the vampire.
I have to say, archaeology is the one avenue in the sims that i've never really pursued so this is actually a great video to see how it even works LOL
It's a whole lot of fun, Jungle Adventure is easily my favourite game pack!
Wow, early, early! I guess that’s the pros of having a newborn who’s up at 3am (from NZ by the way) Love your work!🤍
Congratulations! ❤️
I'm still waiting on your Black WIdow let's play!
I don’t have Jungle Adventure, and I haven’t seen many videos of it, so I’m really interested to see this video!
Would love to see one where you just write a bunch of books and progressively make more money with your royalties.
