    Love the 69 and all the cars you guys have. Good luck this season. Looking forward to track videos of the Camaro and the black Corvette. Also hope to see more videos of your C2 Corvettes. Take care and be safe.

    Love watching your videos! I wish more of the FAST racers had channels and were willing to show some of the tips and tricks.

    Check your output shaft angle at ride height. Shim the trans mount to get as close to zero and then set your pinion angle. Depending on ride height sometimes you can get this perfect. Put a pressure gauge on the o2 bung and measure your back pressure. That’s probably where you’ll find the biggest gains on a car like that. Borla xs-pro flow good and are quiet.

    Thru exhaust manifolds and a dual plane intake. Incredible! I love it!

    Such a great looking car!! Awesome to see that much HP running thru manifolds and full exhaust. Keep up the great work! Really want to see the number this one puts down on the track.

      Thank you! I’m hoping we can squeak a little more power out of it, but I need to get the suspension working better, then she’ll start to shine!

    I am thinking you might insulate the open holes on the underside of the hood, might give the engine cooler air. I love your car

    Yeah, that's right at what chevrolet rated the ZL1at in '69...right!? Absolutely AWESOME car. It's funny everyone works so hard at REMOVING the cork's to gain power and you go and ADD them all! And yet you still always win your class. AWESOME car

      @@kularace7351 I believe they should build a second car with the appropriate intake, exhaust, chassis, gears and tires for off season "fun and shenanigans". I'd bet they'd be in the 7's on motor alone. But alas...off season is time to refresh that combo. Gotta stay on top!

      If I could use traction bars I would have kept the split monos, but the car reacts better with the multi leafs since rules don’t allow any traction bars.

    Is it normal to lose 160+HP on the hub dyno ??

    • @HorsepowerDepot
      @HorsepowerDepot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, engines are dynoed out of the car and measured at the crankshaft. Then wheel dunks lose about 15 percent which is what they call drivetrain loss. All new cars are rated at the crankshaft for horsepower.
