Thank you so much for going step by step slowly and explaining everything! I have never had to scan anything into my computer before because I had no use for it. Now I have to so this video was extremely helpful! I have watched several other videos and they play music in the background which is distracting and they don't explain anything. Some go super fast that you don't know what you're doing because you get confused and lost and you miss what is being done. Others you just can't understand them. I had to watch six videos to find yours. Glad I found it but wish I found it first. That would have saved me a ton of time.

In setting while scanning select pdf format to save and if you see save a single file select it and then scan next page , may be you wont see next page in screen but that adds up itself and scan more as you need. In the the end save it.

1:22 I don't know why but I don't see this option on the scan app. it says " To get started, connect a scanner" and then a pop-up showed saying " We can't find a scanner. Attach it to your PC or go to PC setting to add it". But nothing worked.

I have Canon printer MF645CX. It only scans the black and white option as pdf, for the color scanning it scans as jpg (which I want as pdf). Why is that? Although all the settings are configured

There is no manage button in Mac its just print or scan option. Manage is only in the windows laptop or computer.

I bought this printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi

You need to download Windows scan app from the Microsoft store to use scanner. It may be not loaded in your laptop so you need it.
