One thing I will say is you guys need to invest in rain bags. Sometimes people like to stand in the rain with their umbrella and they don't care if their umbrella is dripping with water and gets all on your floor. So invest in a nice rain bag. That's big and can fit umbrellas. Also you want microfiber cloths just to wipe things down some febreze because customers do like a good smelling car, you'll get compliments. And maybe if you have a bottom compartment in your trunk like a bottom cabin, maybe put some wipes in the back for your car and if you have leather seats it would be nice to invest in leather wipes so you can wipe your seat. Because some people get in your car and they don't care how they smell
Invest in car covers for your seats, they make really nice looking ones and it protects your vehicle. Next get an additional set of car floor mats, take the ones that came with your vehicle and keep them to the side. I always have a set of rain/rubber/weather mats in the trunk and put them out when it rains. Can of febreeze is handy and does a good job.
Helping them with their luggage is really to protect your vehicle from these passengers just throwing their bag around, or damaging your bumper. Also, I get to stretch my legs.
I help them with luggage just so they do not scratch my paint. Helping them with the language is just a common courtesy. In reference the charging cable, If they stop stealing them they would have them. No more.
I have a very nice holder for tisúes, post it , pen, hand sanitizer, sun block, hand lotion. Ask soon the passenger saw it they love and said 5 stars you are so prepared 😂
I know this is random but I feel like the only way for Uber and Lyft to increase our pay is for drivers to only accept rides that are seven bucks and above. If we stopped accepting those small rides together, Uber is going to lose a lot of money and they'll be forced to take action somehow, Plus, I'm sure riders are going to complain to Uber that nobody's accepting their rides. Anyway, I have to be honest I'm not sure how profitable rideshare is for you guys but you would probably make more money working two jobs than you would do with Uber and Lyft. Because to make real money you have to work 12 plus hours anyway so you might as well get two jobs. Either that or get a license for something. Or go to the military. Spend some time in there and have them pay for better schooling. And I also have one question for anybody who actually makes real money doing rideshare? What are your tips for making $250 plus dollars most days? How do you continue to have such success on these gig apps?
@@abishialja-iz6948 Using your thresholds-at $7/ride you would need to do 36 rides to hit $250 obviously at $10/ride you’d still need 25 rides to hit $250. Don’t know how sustainable that is. 5 days of that and you’d never want to see your car again. I find that Uber throttles what they let me have. It won’t give me more than 4 Reserved trips per morning. I get trips to the airport starting at 3am and I wish I could do 6 or 8 of those, but they never let that happen. Once I hit $150 it seems like they cut me off. They don’t give me anything/-not even garbage.
Hold up.. veteran driver here.. trust me on this: use the ozium gels instead of the spray. Why? The spray will seriously strip paint off of any painted surfaces you have, after some time.
@@wturner777 fair enough. I could show you the pictures and given the angle from the driver seat.. you’d clearly see how inevitable it is. Again, with enough time. But to each their own. It absolutely works great, don’t get me wrong.
White wine vinegar gets rid of vomit stains and smell. Also you should spray daily with febreeze fabric deodorizer for other smells like smokers etc...
If someone bonotes just take immediately pictures a-list 3 pictures in different angle so you report the passenger to the application and you can get some extra cash for damage in your auto
I don’t need car wash subscription. I wipe down car daily with waterless car wash spray and vacuum it myself. 3 D has waterless car wash. Buy it by the gallon. Use 00 fine steel wool to scrub out water spots on your windshield, Windows.
Instead of a car freshener or air freshener, I use a USB diffuser that fits in my cupholder and diffuse natural Young Living essential oils. Most passengers, I don’t how nice it smells. The benefit is one of the oils are use is a natural antibacterial and antimicrobial so it is killing germs; the other or is one that helps sinus congestion and headaches… We ALL need those protections!! BTW, if someone just finished a cigarette before entering my van, the next passengers don’t even realize it (and I don’t get a migraine from the tobacco smell)!! WIN-WIN!! If you’re interested in learning more aboutthe oils, please reach out to me😊
If someone throws up in your car, you take a picture and send it to Uber Support and automatically they will be charged for cleaning - I’ve been told it’s an automatic charge of $150.00

Almost 20k rides and never had someone throw up. But I never drive at nights so that fixes it
I stopped driving late nite, it’s really not worth the headache.

5 things you must have in your Bank Account ….Money!
Things you will have with rideshare
1:Trashed vehicle
2: Broke bank account
After Uber and Lyft cut our pay, I've stopped spending any money to please riders. Also, I've stopped helping rider's with their language.
I don't blame you, but for me, I receive a lots of tips, in return I do something nice.
luggage

I've never understood why they promote mile tracking apps if uber/lyft provide the mileage driven
Because you can track extra mile from driving to and from home to whatever you are at and riding back if it takes you out far

Question: Who in the right mind would want to spray Ozium directly on painted surfaces?

Always keep plastic grocery bags in the back door wells in case someone needs to hurl.
Only had someone use them once and she wasn’t even drunk.
My tips has dried up completely. LA for that matter.
