sweet review! hands look fresh... but looks like the wrist gap is a little large on both scales. maybe there is a neat trick to close up that gap with a bit of pla plate?
Super awesome. I've been wanting to see how these are as they sounded like something we've been waiting for for quite some time. Perfect! Certainly a great posing solution for dexterous suits like the Astrays.
sweet review! hands look fresh... but looks like the wrist gap is a little large on both scales. maybe there is a neat trick to close up that gap with a bit of pla plate? i love the fact that you get plenty of accurate articulation but i am starting to really have trouble with small articulated pieces for kits that get painted up. personally i would look for fully rigid hands that come in high detail and in a variety of posses so i won't have to worry about paint chipping due to articulation.
Sweet. The only major drawback I can see with newer kits is that the hands may not hold onto heavier equipment properly due to the lack of pegs in the hands. But like you mentioned in the Kotobukiya hand reviews, on older kits, they're probably gonna be great with them.
great review, where do you find them on line? I think that the back is not such a problem, you can cut the camera from a back and fix it to another gluing it or one can mold it from a debree!!
@84KKTan you can sign up when you proceed to checkout when you click on checkout after getting the kits you want to buy it will ask u if you are a new customer or not if your new you just have to put in your email and credit card info etc
2 questions. 1. are the 1/144 scale hands to small for a 1/100 Mg wing kit ( could work ). 2. After you build the epyon, can you put the 1/100 hand on it, the epyon being bigger than wing zero.
Measurements of the hands and their ball joints would be helpful. Direct comparisons with kit hands might be helpful as well. Another question - you showed it holding a beam rifle, do you think if you left it like that for a day or two, it would stay put? Those fists look terrible - I'm really not even sure why they bothered including them. The poseable hands look pretty great, though - I'm impressed that they're as good at holding a pose as they are.
And I thought the RG posable hands were impressive. The fact they could fit PG articulation into 1/144 scale hands is astounding. Still probably wouldn’t use these outside of specific use cases since those fingers are bound to get loose. But it’s still an impressive show of technology.
I am curious with these removable backings if you can take those off the hands of existing kits, file away any pegs that are wrong and use them on these hands. Probably will not work with all versions, but I can imagine it working with a few.
2 questions: 1)Do you just need a sprew cutter and hobby knife to make them?(ie no drill or metal wire like the Modeler assistant hands) and if 1=true 2)Would they be proportional correct to a nongrade/Master grade Exia? if they are right for both criteria I might just buy a 1/100th set of them for a build I am planning
I almost want to buy these but I don't really do much posing that would need them, now that I think about it... Oh, and how would these be on a 1/144 00 kit? Their hands seems pretty tiny, and I don't really have any recent 1/144 kits to compare them to.
how many mm are the Gundam Wing PVC hand joints? I tried putting in hobby base clear joints, but the 3mm and 5mm joints are too small. I was thinking of moding a 3.5mm or 4mm (whichever it is) into the hand. does hobby base even have these sizes?
hey man i just broke my sazabi verka hand and i was looking online how to fix it and its kinda bit difficult for me and i stumble on this video of yours. is the 1/100 scale hand as big as the sazabi ver. ka hand?
Hi, I'm new to this area but I modify some transformers and I plan to use one these for a leader class ROTF Optimus Prime, but I just can't find the measures anywere to see if this works to me. Can you tell me the width, lenght with extended fingers with and without the ball joint in mm please? It would be very helpful, nice review by the way.
+Miguel Cruz scale 1/100 most likely compatible with voyager class transformers scale 1/144 probably compatible with deluxe class for leader class, you're gonna need probably scale 1/50 (sadly not available yet)
you're welcome. btw i just found out that while there's no scale 1/50 available, but there's scale 1/60 that might be compatible w/ leader class. sadly the articulated hands are not sold separately as optional part. so you must buy the whole gundam set just to get the hands alone TT;
Oh, sorry for the late reply. I'll try first to mod some of 3rd. party TF hands, like the Fan Style ones for the MP deluxes, they seem a little too big for deluxes and big enough for leader class. But surely I'll check 1/60, thanks for the help!.
while they do look really awesome i really dont want to have them. i prefer hands that are less posable but are actually capable of holding the accessories without dropping them over time.
Hi vegeta8259, could you please check and see if these hands would fit the Nu Ver, Ka gundam? I just ruined his right hand's middle finger so now I'm looking for replacement. Thanks!
@vegeta8259 Actually, after looking at this review, might get these for my old Spiegel/Shadow Gundam. It's a MG who would benefit insanely from such hands.
Hey vegeta I just purchased a 1/100 scale No Grade Astray Red Frame and soon A Musha Gundam 1/100 scale. Could i use them for these? Cause those are both my favourite gundams of all time and I want articualted hands. Should i get this?
Too bad they don't fit on 1/100 Wing kits.. the kits from the '90s have the most horrible hands there are. Do they fit on Gundam X kits (1/100)? Because I believe the sizes of the hands are the same as the Wing ones. The suits from X are supposed to be around 17 meters..
It's a shame that this set is discontinued 😢
Why the hell were these discontinued. These are amazing
Thank you for this. I didn't realize these existed. Now that I've seen them my 1/144 hg will be awesome.
The extended thumb is for a punching fist specifically. They can both be used for beam sabers, though. Just in different poses (ie; angry vs standing)
sweet review!

@TheRoyalJesster I'm not sure, but I believe they fit, since they are the same scale and proportions, they might fit on RG...nice question actually...
Definately gotta pick up a good few sets of these sometime.i would kill if the company that made these would make some for the barbatos lupus rex.
TheTsar ofAll ikr I am thinking of buying a set but for the lupus both the 100 and the high grade

Wow, Alex AND Rezel. Some of the best advertising for me... I think I may have to order set for a future project.

@Kefkaownsall maybe if you modify the 1/144 scale hands to fit the mg wing ver ka then maybe it will work just a thought

Hey Henry I have a question... Can i use the 1/100 hands in a leader class optimus prime ROTF? are they big enough? Thanks in advance...
I have been waiting for this since I saw it in Gundam Guys blog !!!
Thanks a lot for showing this, I really want to get these now :D!
Bad ass. Thanks for showing us this.
oh crap now i have to buy a pair of these... looks really nice with rezel
No links to where we can find some?
Is the 1/100 fit into old HG like HG Seed? Cause their hands were way bigger than nowadays
thanks for the review. do you mind checking how will the 1/144 hands look on the 1/100 15m suits?

got these for my Hazel, might be easier to paint than the static hands.
any suggestions and by the way love the channel
Excellent video, thank you
Now if they would only make the rounded 1/100 - 1/144 scale perfect grade hands to add to old school Zeon mobile suit model kits.
I almost want to buy these but I don't really do much posing that would need them, now that I think about it...

vegeta8259 will they work with the1/100 blue frame
+vegeta8259 the hands are very lose and the fingers fall off to easy
vegeta8259 are the backings of the ones already with the gunpla compatible with the poseable hands?
Yeah, I'll definitely be picking up a set of these.
Great review, I just bought a set.
thats more or less how the hands for the Nu Ver Ka looks im pretty stocked for that New/Nu kit
I'm gonna get one of those if GBF happens.
